I have no hesitation recommending DC's Glass and Tire Experts on Nannie Hellen Borough Rd for auto body repairs They have now helped me out on several occasions when my car's passenger window winder broke, when my sun roof drains became blocked and most recently when my car was hit by a hit and run driver - see photos - and economically totaled. Glass and Tire Experts were able to rebuild the rear quarter of the car at an affordable price. Oscar's Glass and Tire Experts have got me out of a tight spot on 3 occasions and will do the same for you. Just call Oscar - Richard Nov 22.

Someone shattered my vent window and broke into my car! I’m so glad Oscar helped me right away!! He even got the necessary glass part for me really quickly! I guess the good thing about shattered auto windows is that I get to meet really great people in the auto shop haha! I recommend this shop to everyone!!

My car was broken into and they shattered the backseat passenger window. All the shops I called in DC gave me an outrageous quote saying it was more for an automatic window, NO ONE even came close to beating the price I got here. They were able to replace my window the very same day I called, the entire process took ~3 hours from the time I arrived without an appointment. I grabbed lunch down the street and then waited inside the shop. They even vacuumed up the shattered glass from my interior. I cannot recommend this shop highly enough - the best customer service and kindest treatment I’ve ever gotten from an auto repair shop.

My passenger side window was completely destroyed, I called around to get quotes, this is the first and only business to call me back saying "good morning, sorry I missed your call, do you need some help" I told him my vehicle make n model (2022 chevy) and said he had the part and come on down. Was there for about 2 hrs total. Fast, efficient, friendly, and very helpful. Highly recommend!

My car rear window was broken into and completely shattered. I called around to get it fixed asap on short notice and this was the only place in DC that was able to take in my car right away and repair it in a timely manner. These guys gave me a great deal and did an excellent job. If god forbid I need such a service in the future I am 100% coming here!

TL,DR: Service is fast, staff is responsive and personable, price is affordable. Highly recommend. Full version: I ended up needing two windshields in one week (first windshield was vandalism, second windshield was an accident) and regardless of my bad luck, I had an overwhelmingly positve experience with this shop. They drove to my location for the first windshield and I brought my car into their shop for the second. Very quick turn around for both appointments; I even received same day service the day they drove to me even though my car was safely parked off the street, so it was not an emergency. Price is super competitive, installation includes a warranty, and payment is easy. Tony was super nice, accommodating, and answered all of my questions. Overall experience was as positive as getting a new windshield could be.

The service I received here was honestly the best I’ve received in a long time, from anywhere. Every staff member here was pleasant. The guys in the office took great care of me, Melvin especially. I honestly wish I knew all of their names so I could acknowledge each and everyone individually! The prices are the best in the city! And the repair men pay great attention to detail. I had my car window busted on a rainy night at about 10 o’clock. Got online and found these guys. Even though it was 11 at night when I made the phone call they answered. Spoke to a guy and within five minutes he gave me a quote for how much my window would cost to be replaced and he was very kind. I told him I could be there first thing in the morning. The next morning when I was en route, they called and verified the window I needed and told me they were ready for my arrival. When I arrived they took my key and asked for an hour of my time. They were able to match that one hour time frame. I was very happy with the service provided as the window was factory tinted unlike the ones I have on my car. It matches perfectly and actually looks better than the windows already on my car. I have not one complaint about the service I received.

I was searching Google for local auto glass shops and found the Glass & Tire Experts. The overwhelming positive reviews led to me calling to schedule an appointment (a plus). I was immediately seen after my arrival (another plus). I was given the same price quote as I was given over the phone and in text messages (a huge plus). After an hour as quoted, my windshield was replaced (more pluses). The Glass & Tire Experts will be my go to for windshield repairs and replacement.
