i have been looking for a place to get my 21 explorers windows tinted since i bought it in 2020. I came upon this place when Tiffany posted it in a mom's group. After messaging back and forth, I knew this was the place. 1. owner was sweet and took time to answer my questions 2. it was a small business, which is important 3. price was less than anyone else for the same product. i popped in on a Saturday and got my car done. It took about an hour and a half and Tiffany wouldn't let it leave unless it was perfect! and it is! both me and my wallet are very very happy!

I've been using High desert window tint since 1996 have had no issues with the quality or service. Service is always professional friendly and fast. Never had a problem because the instructions on proper care of the window tint is clearly stated after the tint job is finished. Do not roll the window down for 48 hours.

This is a place where as soon as you walk in you can tell this a place that cares not about how much money they can squeeze out of you but the job at hand. I went here twice at the recommendation of my sister. Everyone is very friendly and nice. But there is always something wrong that I have to go back for. The first time I got my windshield replaced and they forgot to tint the top like I paid for, so I had to go back again! How do you forget to do the tint when thats your companys name? Such a waste of time and gas. I don't live close either. The 2nd time I went to get my front windows replaced and tinted. Tiffany told me they would arrive around 1145am so I show up around 1215pm and apparently they hadn't arrived yet and no one called to tell me. I didn't get out of there until around 330pm bc I was waiting for something that I was told would be there so I wouldn't have to wait in the first place. Then the guy shows me that my back windows don't roll all the way down to cover himself. I said I know but why are you messing with the back windows when it's the front that should be worked on. He said he's just protecting himself so I can't say he broke them. I thought that was weird. 2 days later I roll my back window down and it won't roll up!!! I go back for the 4th time to be told that it's not his fault and they charged me $80 to fix it! It's just toooo much of a coincidence that my back window was totally fine until he messed with it but they deny they did anything wrong. I think it's a scam where he shows you something to cover himself and then when it breaks you have to go back to pay more money to them. I will not go back. Oh, also I was charged $50 more than I was originally quoted for the windows. So that was another negative. It sucks bc they have good prices but they've messed up too many times for me to go back.

On August 7th 2022,I called desert tint on West Lake mead and decanter. JOEL answered I inquired to do my 2016 hundayai accent front side windows rear side windows,and back window. Joel said Bring it on down. I did and Joel even offered to do my windshield strip. Work was done neatly and professionally. Nothing but praises and good vibes with desert tint. Recently had my 2018 Highlanders windows tinted at Desert Tint on Lake Mead and had a great experience. When I first reached out my questions were answered quickly and professionally, and they were able to get me in the same day! The time it took to get the job done was quick, and I was able to sit in a comfortable recliner watching TV in the lobby while I waited. My vehicle was returned to me just as I handed it over to them, and the tint job was great. Pricing was amazing too. Thank you to everyone at Desert tint on lake mead and Decatur! I’ve been coming here for ever, I think I’m on my 7th or 8th car now. Just brought in my sons car for ceramic tint, chip repair and a strip, my car for a wind shield replacement and front windshield ceramic to help reduce the heat here in vegas. It’s made such a huge difference, I can keep my air on low since the ceramic keeps the sun at bay. Thank you guys so much, I’ll be back!

Wouldn’t recommend anywhere for getting your windows tinted! Seriously, i think I’ve referred at least five people to this place. You really can’t beat the price seeing as they really come out perfect & your windows come with a lifetime warranty just in case they were to chip, etc. they try to get you in & out in a reasonable amount of time! Its also a very laid back, welcoming & worry free environment.

Came in early Sunday morning for a tint job on my boyfriends new truck. We went with their ceramic tint for the UV protection purposes. Tiffany at the front counter was very polite, quick with paper work and thoroughly explained each level of tint and what they offered. After our tint was finished, she came out to inspect the final product and noticed a few imperfections in one window to which she had fixed right on the spot. Now it's been almost a month since we received our service and were extremely happy with the finished product. Would highly recommend to any one in the Valley 💚

Very happy with the tint so I'm giving a 5 star for the actual work, however be prepared for them to not value your time. Came in first thing at opening time, was the first in line. Was told an hour and a half wait. Came back almost 2 hours later only to see my car just being pulled in. Was told it would be another 45 min. In the end it took 3 and a half hours for me to get my car back. When I dropped my car off in the morning, I asked if they are fine with driving a manual. When my car was very late their excuse was that nobody was able to drive it until that time. All you had to do was call me and I would have pulled it in for you. You deserve business for the good work and happy customers, but experiences like that can leave a sour taste.

Great place and great people! My rear passenger window was broken into so I was contacted by the owners wife and she referred me to this place. I was given a great deal to fix my window and they were able to order the glass and fix it all in the same day. It was cheaper than if I would have gone through my insurance too. They did a great job too and even vacuumed out the glass from the broken window.

Honestly I had some issues with the shop worker and them not getting the correct put back on my car. Chris fixed the issue tho and honestly it looks good, it’s reasonable priced place and they WILL make it right if they did not get it right the first time. Take your car here, keep cool in the Vegas heat.

It was my only day off and it was going to rain next day. I decided to ask while I payed my insurance next door. I was discouraged and running out of time due to weather. I called every powered window place in town and out of 7 of them 2 or 3 only do moon roof stuff. So I really didn't think they would be able to do it. If you have called around, you know its expensive and no one wants to do it even if advertised. They looked at it. They quoted me. The price was perfect. Accommodated me for drop off next morning. He reassured the service with explanation to me using actual parts from shop. I opted to leave it a whole day and pick up for next day due to my work schedule. My BF was happy that it didn't get rained on. It was safe in a garage over night. They notified me when they had to get an extra part. They went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. Can assure you're getting the product you pay for, they will show you the rolls of film with no problem 😊 life time warrantied in all 50 states!!! As long as you keep your receipt they will take care of any issues with the film itself (peeling, bubbling, fading, etc.) Nothing self inflicted of course. Quality, professional work done here. Not cheap film that turns purple in 6 months. My mom got her car tinted here 10 years ago and it's still in perfect condition. Fast service in and out in 45 minutes!!! I recommend this place to everyone

I got my windshield tinted a few months ago and apparently there must of been an issue with the installation, minor defect. I took my vehicle back, spoke to Tiffany on Friday, they were real busy, she suggested bringing it in on Monday morning. Got there bright and early, Tiffany wasn’t there but her husband Chris took care of me. What a class act both Chris and Tiffany are, they are the best and know how to take care of their customers! The guy reassured me the tint I paid for was the one being installed by showing me the rolls in the work area.I also had a rock chip repaired while I was there. Prices are great: 25 bucks per window (this was the case for the two front windows penny 03 corette) unless you upgrade. Perfect for me since my tiny usually last anywhere from 1-2 years before I get a ticket and have to redo.

My first time going they placed tint on my truck I get home saw bubble in windows,I called to let them know what was happening, I was told to bring it back next morning,so I did. I showed them were and let them know that I wasn't upset about it because the first day I saw they were little busy and mistakes happen, so before I get it back make sure that it is right before they give me back my key. Ok when I got my keys back they said allz good, I drive away and I look and it looks like a scratch on right window so I pull over and glanced at the back window there's a bubble, now I'm frustrated really haven't slept cause I get done work at 530am and I'm there early 830 am so yeah I'm frustrated. Window not clean bubbles ahhhhhh so they take it back to work on it, they bring it back to me then had to take it back because they saw something again 4 times, I'm home now waiting til 3days to truly see what happens. I appreciate that they tried to make it right but 4 times, who ever reads this what would u give them. I'm giving 5 stars because 5 stars get posted

The shop isnt a big flashy shop but it has been in business there for a long time so they must be doing something right. I had my front glass and my driveside window repaired today at this business. The manager Chris and the brother Armando were polite and they fixed it both in less than 30 minutes. I didn't even need to call them for reservation. They got my business and I will recommend this shop to all my friends. I didn't have enough time to replace the windshield so I just repaired and said I will be back later, and he promised me to reduce my repair cost when I purchase the replacement service! Walked in and got right in. Joel was great, he told me the time it would be ready and it was ready a few minutes before. I was very pleased with them. It looked great. It was more than I expected to spend but thats because I decided to go with almost the best tint they had and it was worth it. A few lifted areas around the matrix area (edges of windows) but they said that would go away. I’ll revise my post if it doesn’t. I would recommend them.

Just got my windows tinted today they use SunTek tint that comes with a lifetime warranty i went with the pro protection tint for $145 it took them about an hour to get the job done everything looks great but ill give it a couple months before I give a 5 star rating.
