Great experience with Brian at 5 star Auto Glass. He is extremely knowledgeable and transparent in terms of expectations with an aftermarket replacement. The price was also the best in town, plus free onsite installation. Brian is fair and honest and does good work. He is also extremely good about communication which I appreciate and you can tell he truly cares about the customer experience. I would use them again if I have another incident, but hopefully I won't have to!

I contacted Brian regarding a windshield replacement for my 2009 Mazda 6. Although there were no current windshields available for my car (due to supplier issues out of Brian's control), he still went above and beyond to search for a replacement for me via alternate vendors. I called about 4 places to get quotes on a replacement windshield. Others were nearly impossible to get on the phone, or were condescending to me about my knowledge and questions, or had ever-shifting prices. 5 Star was responsive, transparent, knowledgeable, and utterly professional. Best of all, their price was significantly lower than anyone else. It was a no brainer. The work was completed a few days later - again, a very painless, professional experience. I had a great experience with 5 Star Auto Glass. I spoke with Brian, initially, who was very honest, upfront and detailed. He answered my questions and also educated me on the windshield replacement process and materials. Brian even brought up considerations I was not aware of and that other service providers had not mentioned when I contacted them for estimates. Ultimately, I selected Brian because of his customer service, thoroughness and other positive reviews. He followed up about scheduling the work in a timely manner, worked within my timeline guidelines and arrived on-site promptly. The scope of work was completed by the time he said it would be, he was meticulous, he cleaned up after himself and the final product was very good. It has been about a month and half since my new windshield was put in and I have had no issues. I followed the post-work instructions Brian provided as well. I recommend this company and would not hesitate to use them again!

Called them for a quote and they answered promptly with a reasonable price... came out to do estimate/measure my window to ensure their product would fit and be of quality. Last week while driving through Manassas a rock decided to play catch with my windshield. The next morning there was a crack about 10 inches long staring me in the face. After calling Geico, and being discouraged about their glass deductible I called 5 Star Auto Glass. They quickly set up the appointment to come to my home today and I must say I cannot be any more impressed with their work, punctuality and professionalism. Brian was a pro and had the windshield replaced in less than. an hour. I am not sure how legit these low ratings that they have received are, but their work today was stellar. We had a windshield completely cracked down the middle on a rare car. We called up expecting nothing, but the owner called around everywhere and found us the last windshield from his supplier and put it in. He did an amazing job, he even offered to use a different molding which made the windshield follow the lines of the car much better than stock. Not just great work, but a wonderful eye for detail as well. If i could rate 6/5 stars i would.

I am very much a researcher. I did my homework and it paid off. They sure live up to their name. From my initial phone call to the install, professional all the way. Great attention to detail and follow up. Had to get a new windshield and Brian was very thorough in his explanations. I got my windshield a week faster than anywhere else I called. Very competitive pricing as well. Hopefully I won't need the service again but if I do, I know where I'll take my business... you should too!

Brian truly knows customer service and quality work. Just finished my windshield replacement and from the very first phone call to post installment instructions he was very professional and thorough. He was very communicative and gave status updates as necessary throughout the entire process. Since there were no aftermarket parts available (my car is fairly new) he explained that we would need to get an approval from my insurance company and then we would go from there. If you have any auto glass needs, I highly recommend 5 Star Auto Glass.

Very professional and knowledgeable. Meticulous and detail oriented. He wouldn't replace my windshield until i moved it so it would be level just in case it made the glass slide and ruin the seal. They really have their business on lockdown, with experience doing repairs and replacements. He came out to me in Fairfax did my truck in under an hour and didn't charge me more than what he quoted me.

These guys need to change their name to 6 star auto glass. I don't usually leave reviews but they deserve it. I tried to get a windshield installed in my 2018 BMW 328 a few weeks ago but it had rained and was super humid out. They called me to cancel and I tried to talk them out of it then they talked me out of that. :) Ended up ordering me a better windshield (with tint at the top) than I had originally. Today was nice and sunny so the tech showed up right at 9 and started work. Windshield is now the best looking part of the car. He cleaned the dash and everything else while he had the windshield out too. They were also over $100 cheaper than the company USAA uses which starts with S and ends in afelite... :) This is the same review I posted on Yelp btw.

I talked with Brian at the vienna office yesterday about the crack in my Jeep wrangler windshield, he laid out my replacement options, as well as, all information about installation technique, quality of installation and glass type, ..etc, overall I felt very confident and comfortable with my decision, and the ability of Brian and 5 star to do the job. so i set up an appointment for 11:00am the next day, true to his word, Brian was there on time and installed the windshield in a professional manner. he was very knowledgeable of the task at hand and was very friendly and responsive despite my insistence of telling him my whole life story while he work :-)....

Can't recommend these guys enough. Called on a Monday morning and they were able to send someone to my place to replace my windshield that same afternoon. Tech was super friendly, did an excellent job, and their price was $100 cheaper than if I had driven it myself to Safelite. Plus they through in a can of window cleaner on top. Would definitely go to them again for any window repair needs (hopefully not needed though)!

They were able to schedule me basically the next day if needed, knew exactly what windshield I needed, had by far the best price, performed a seamless install, and great customer service. Was able to get the windshield replaced in one day and for $160 less than Safelite. The guy who called to set things up was very knowledgeable, and the guy that did the install was a true pro. The glass looked the same as the OEM too. Very happy and would not hesitate to call them again.

Brian from 5 Star Auto Glass replaced the windshield in my BMW M3 this past week. I am very particular about my car, and Brian exceeded my expectations. He arrived on time, was careful with my car, and the new windshield looks great. I had some concerns about the rain sensor working properly after the windshield replacement, and am glad to say it works with no issues so far. If I have any more auto glass needs, I would not hesitate to use 5 Star Auto glass again.

Easy people to work with. Setting up my appointment was incredibly easy as they were very flexible for times, dates, and even drove out to my work on a weekday even though it was not in their typical range of mobile service! The replacement took a couple hours, and Brian was extremely nice, easy to talk to and did a great job. Highly recommend! Oh, and the price was better than any I quoted (quoted 2 other places in the NoVa area) by more than just a few dollars.

My windshield cracked in the morning on the way to work, and was replaced before lunch time! Excellent! I contacted the top 5 auto glass repair/replacement companies on Yelp, and Brian contacted me in less than 5 minutes. He quoted me a price significantly lower than I expected. Once I heard back from three of the other places (they quoted $100+ MORE than 5 Star Autoglass), I quickly called Brian back to have my replacement scheduled. We just recently moved to the area, when our windshield got a crack in it. The heat was making it crack more and more everyday. We weren't sure who we could trust with the work, so I called around to a few businesses. I spoke to Brian at 5 Star. Brian was very honest, friendly, and professional. When he came to change our windshield, he went over the dos and don'ts for the first few hours and days. The entire process lasted around an hour. The prices here are great and the service is awesome as well! I would recommend this place to anyone in need of a window or windshield replacement.

He explained what he was going to do and then gave me a paper handout afterwards which reminded me of what to avoid for the next few hours/days in order to have the windshield adhere properly. Brian owns his own company and has been replacing auto glass for 13 years. He arrived on time and was professional, organized and expertly replaced our windshield on a 2008 Toyota Highlander. I shopped around for a windshield replacement quote and 5 Star had the most reasonable quote. Brian gave me comprehensive information about the different grades of glass, OEM vs. After Market, before I scheduled my appointment and was very concise in explaining the process, the time it would take, and the price including tax. Allen installed my windshield in about an hour, was on time, and very thorough- cleaned the parts before putting them back on my jeep and made sure that I understood when I could drive my jeep and when it was safe to take it through a car wash. Great service and price!

My experience with this company has been nothing short of exceptional. I was referred to them by my local dealer, and I see why. Submitted an estimate request on their website, received one by email, used one of the links on the email to begin the scheduling process, someone called shortly after providing availability, and in less than 30 second, I was scheduled. The day of the appointment, the tech called 30 mins before arriving, arrived on time, mentioned he would transfer my inspection and stickers on to the new windshield, was meticulous in completing his work (he also used one of those tools you see on the Safellite commercials), cleaned up after himself ,and went over all the post care instructions with me. As a family with 5 cars, we’ve used several companies in the past but none have impressed us like this one. Just a pleasant and professional experience, and an exceptional job at a reasonable cost. Why can’t all of my auto repairs go this smooth?!

Brian, from 5 Star Auto Glass, was working on a neighbor's windshield when I happened to go outside. Having a small chip in the windshield of my vehicle, I thought I'd check to see if he could take a quick look and give me an idea about what it would take to fix. Without even thinking he was quick to say yes, and within minutes he was giving me info about how they typically repair small chips and what I could possibly expect. He even offered to repair the windshield once he was done with his current project. The repair was completed and the windshield looks spectacular. I could not recommend them enough! I have nothing but positive things to say about this company. A rock hit my windshield months ago and the crack had now spread across my windshield. My father was demanding I get it fixed but with working full time an hour away and taking care of two little ones, it wasn't easy to find time to take my car in to be fixed. First, I was quoted a price well below Safelite, with no additional taxes or fees for coming to me. Second, they were able to schedule me quickly, which was important because the crack was growing. Third, early in the week I got a call from Brian saying he had checked the weather and it was supposed to rain the day I had scheduled. So he offered me first dibs on a Saturday appointment. Except by the time I called back the forecast had moved to rain Friday and Saturday. He was so on top of things and then even offered to come out on his day off because it would be the first day without rain. Fourth, he was prompt and courteous. He worked quickly and did a great job. Seriously it's like I have a whole new point of view while driving. Lastly, several hours later as I went outside to put my son's car seat back in, Brian had returned. He had managed to get my inspection sticker off my old window and said he didn't want me driving around without it. He had come back to put it in place. So grateful for this company and everything they did for me!

I did my research. Brian (owner and lead tech) completed the training and testing to be accredited by the Auto Glass Safety Council. Arrived on time. He used quality materials, including TriVal glass and Dow Betaseal adhesive. He carefully removed adhesive remnants from two previous windshield replacements, then cleaned and vacuumed and cleaned some more. He used all the special tools needed to do the work correctly. Attention to detail was top notch. My cost was $218, compared with other quotes ranging from $156 (not certified regional company with mixed reviews) to $428 (national firm with lots of advertising recommended by my insurance company). 5 Star Auto Glass earns their 5 stars.

He was very professional and the I had shopped around and found their service to be cheaper than all the other ones in Virginia. They do not charge to come to you and no fees for glass disposal as had the other companies charged. I will highly recommend their service to anyone.

Hated waking up to a shattered passenger side window. Loved the convenience of not having to drive my car with shattered glass flying everywhere to get it replaced. I called in the morning and was told the tech would show up to my house between 12-2pm that day. Received a call 30 minutes prior to his arrival to let me know he was on his way. They fixed my window, cleaned up all of the broken glass, and did a great job.

There are 2 reasons why I am so pleased with 5 Star Auto Glass of Fairfax, VA. One is they did such a good job of replacing the triangle-shaped 'vent' glass on my Toyota Corolla. The 'fixer' came to my house on time, worked quickly (done within a half-hour), and the result looked terrific. The other reason is he helped me sort out the evil insurance company and their "designated provider" for auto glass. It's a long story, but the short summary is the insurance company, through the subcontractor auto glass repair corporation, tries to pressure you the claimant into going with them (Safelite). In my case they did this by quoting a ridiculously low amount that the insurance would pay for the vent glass replacement, saying that Safelite would do the repair for this amount and any other glass repair company I chose would only receive this amount. Yeah, right. Brian at 5 Star said that in the Washington DC area it would be hard to find anyone to do the job for what the insurance company was quoting as payment. I made a phone call myself to somebody and he said vent glass was the most expensive glass to repair on a car and he laughed at what the insurance company was offering. So in the end 5-Star worked it out and I'm really glad I went with them and I wish them the best and lots more business from the world.
