Second time at Horizon. First time was so long ago I had forgot I went there. Looked up safelite because of the little jingle you hear everywhere. They were almost double the price of a new windshield. Not only that, but when you call Horizon, humans actually answer the phone right away instead of an automated walk through. Guy named Chris took the call and got me penciled in for an appointment right away. Got a follow up from a girl named Leah who also helped with the insurance side of things. In and out quickly. Excellent people and service here. If you ever have a bad experience here at this place it has to be an oddball because these people are great.

I highly recommend Horizon Auto Glass and Tint if you are in need of glass repair, tint, or consultation services. Everyone here is very friendly and helpful, which, sadly, is rare nowadays. There is a genuine quality to these folks that I greatly appreciated, and it all started with Brandon, who picked up my initial phone call. I had a shattered window this morning and Brandon, multiple times, got up out of his chair to talk to people to try to fit me into their busy schedule. He didn’t have to do that. Ultimately Brandon got me an appointment on the same day but I could tell it was not easy and he was super friendly the whole time. When I arrived hours prior to my appointment to show them my shattered window to make sure the tint would be the same, someone else came out to tape my window up. He was friendly and tried hard not to put the tape on anything other than the glass. He did not have to do that for me and I think it’s important to recognize when people go above and beyond. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle, after I said there could be some glass in the seat that I folded down to make room for them to work, the guys took my car back to vacuum the interior for me and did it with a very helpful attitude. No one acted like I was bothering them, even though they were clearly busy. On top of all this, Horizon is a locally owned company, which I love to support. I don’t have a higher grade recommendation than the one I am giving at this moment. What a great group of people that run this business.

I went to the new San Pedro location and got to the the first ever customer of theirs. It was a very good experience as I always go to their other Albuquerque location. I will say their custimwr service is excellent very knowledgeable. They show they care about their customers and that means alot to me. I learned alot that day for future work I will need done to my vehicles. Got estimates and their prices are very fair. They fixed my window chip and it looks great now. I'd recommend this company to anyone

Very satisfied with the work Horizon did in replacing my windshield. Everyone was easy to work with, from the phone representatives to the tech that did the work. The price was VERY reasonable for OEM glass. When I made the appointment, I was given the option to go to the shop or have someone come out to my house and do it...for the same price! The tech was finished in about 30 to 40 minutes and the glass looks awesome. I will definitely be using Horizon again if the need arises.

I think they have been replacing/fixing windshields in our cars for almost 15 years. We have always had great service. They recently replaced my truck's windshield. It's a newer Ram with the Ram logo in the windshield. The replacement looked exactly the same. The tint visor is perfect. Other than a shiny new windshield there is nothing left behind to even know they did work. Truck was put back together perfectly. Great work and the desk people are great. Super helpful and professional.

My wife's windshield had a large crack and needed to be replaced. Called around to a few separate places getting a quote and they had the best pricing by quite a bit. They had my glass in stock and was able to set up my appointment a few days after contacting them. Everyone on the phone I spoke with was extremely professional and courteous. Dropped my vehicle off in the morning and was ready to go after a few hours, this included the windshield needing to be calibrated. When my wife got back in her vehicle we noticed a few issues we thought came from the installation process and set up an appointment to being the vehicle back in the next day. I spoke with the owner and showed him the issues, he was very understanding of our frustration and took action to rectify what he could. We understand things happen sometimes and his willingness to look over everything, talk with us, and make it right is a big selling point to why we will bring our vehicles back in the future.

I went to have my windows tinte paid out of pocket $250 Later after reviewing the info on the thumb drive which was loaded with the window sticker and all documents associated with the sale I found on the window sticker that I They said their Corp office wotld cut was to have tint included in the price I paid. Aprox $26,000.00 all cash. When I spoke to sales manager he agreed to reimburse me half of the charges as they don't get charged retail. I was ok with that as I had modified the tint strength jorthe rest windows. So I was turned over to my sales rep who was to walk my invoice to the money men upstairs who were to chd me check. After a month waiting zi found they mailed the check to Horizun Auto Glass & Tint. So, they got two payments and would mail it to once they got it. A month and a half go by and I went up there and no check. They advised they would pross a check for me and it would be 10 mjns. So I gather Corp. didn't have to do , when I was hand the check I was surprised it was for the full amount of the original charge from Horizon.. Go figure

Best windshield place in town! We make a two-hour drive because these folks are so great. Adam has fixed chips and cracks in two of our vehicles and you would never know. If I could give more stars I absolutely would, this business definitely deserves it. I moved to Albuquerque in August and ‘finally’ in mid-October my car was broken in to. We called first thing on Wednesday morning (the day I discovered the state of my car) and they had me in later that day to replace the window and add tint to match the rest of the car. The staff was so nice and very professional. The whole process took about 3 hours. I walked a block down to the Flying Star cafe and hung out there until the install was done. They vacuumed out all of the glass leftover on the inside of my car as well as the glass that was inside the door. The window looks great. The tint matches perfectly. They even put pieces of tape over the window controls on the driver and passenger doors as a reminder not to roll it down for 2-3 weeks. If my car ever gets broken into again or I have another incident with my car’s glass, I will be returning to Horizon Auto Glass. I’m so thankful for their promptness, professionalism, and quality of service.

From the initial setup of my appointment to the pickup of my car everything was seamless. Kristi was thorough in the explanation of the procedure of the tint and basic maintenance afterwards. I had a slight issue of dirt getting into some of the film during the curing process and they didn't hesitate to book me another appointment to get it fixed. On Monday, December 17, 2012, I called Horizon Auto Glass to get a Quote for a new windshield for my 2010 Ford Expedition EL. They were very friendly and informative about the options available for my vehicle and were very competitively priced for new windshields. We made an appointment to replace my cracked windshield for Tuesday, December 18, 2012. Upon walking in the front door, I was immediately greeted and was given extremely friendly customer service. I inquired about tint options and was given very friendly informative information with which to make an informed decision without any pressures. After they took my vehicle to the back, the installation technician took me to the back to verify that the windshield they had ordered would meet my approval because there was a tint difference between it and the one they would be removing. One snafu did occur - after the new windshield was installed and the vehicle was safe to drive, it was discovered outside in the sunlight that there was a manufacturer's defect within the new windshield that wasn't caught prior to installation. Everyone at Horizon Auto Glass was quick to make it right and continued to be very friendly. I chose to wait another 2-1/2 hours for another windshield to be installed. During my 5 hours in the waiting room I was able to watch how customers were treated as they came in. I have to say that I was overly impressed with the very friendly customer service that everyone who worked at Horizon Auto Glass gave to each and every customer who walked through the door. Based upon my overall personal experience plus everything that I observed while there, I will definitely use Horizon Auto Glass for ALL my Auto Glass needs and wants, from Chip Repairs, New Windshields, Window Tinting, and Invisible Auto Bras. Setting up the appointment was a breeze and I was told that it would take about 2.5 hours for the windshield to be replaced. Went there a few days ago. It took them 45 minutes after my "scheduled" appointment to even get the car into the shop. Then it took another hour and half to tint a single window. If you have all day, they might be good. Don't expect fast service here, and expect your appointment to start at least 45 minutes after they told you to show up.

Outstanding! We are relocating from the North East to Arizona. Rock hit the windshield outside Albuquerque and made it unsafe to drive, on a Sunday, just our luck. Called Horizon first thing Monday morning and they gave us an early afternoon appointment. Whew! Very pleased with the efficiency and quality of replacement windshield. Also super dogo friendly! After purchasing my 2016 VW Jetta Sport in July and having several bad experiences with another local auto glass and tint company (A.S.A.P.), I finally found Horizon!!! I knew in speaking with Danielle on the phone and her listening to my concerns regarding my past experience, this was the place that I would take my car (University Volkswagen highly recommended them, also). Matters kept getting better when I pulled up to my scheduled appointment and walked in to their building (it was clean, organized, and had a welcoming atmosphere - including the restroom I have to say), and the staff were super friendly. I left my car and received a call only two hours later. When I returned to pick up my car and viewed the tint job they did on my back window, I was crying inside as their work was beautiful. It was as if my window was newer than when I purchased the car brand new...how could that possibly be?! Update: this business is amazing. I had a construction truck lose something and smash my windshield this morning really badly at 630am. I drove straight to Horizon as I even had glass on my dash and could barely see. They said they would try to fit me in and did. I'm amazed by the kind people that work there and pleasant experience. Had an appointment got there on-time and was told it would take up to two hours for new windshield. There was a lot of confusion with my order. After watching the guys in back stand around joking for 45 minutes i went inside to ask about my car. The employee went to the back came out saying they were putting it in now so i walked outside to see the employees who had been standing around finally working on my vehicle. I ended up being there for 4 hours. Perhaps they need a leader outside making sure their staff is working. Otherwise the staff in the office was very kind and courteous. I'm on the fence as to whether or not i will go back here again.

Professional service. Guys that come out to do mobile windshield repair always friendly and on time. Used mobile repair twice to replace windshield on my vehicle and once for my husband's vehicle. Took it to the shop that time so they could also apply tint. Only issue with my second replacement is that the tech did not completely secure the plastic piece that covers where rear view mirror attaches to windshield. When I brought it up he said the previous tech broke a clip, so now that rattles some. Understandable as I have a long commute everyday and have had that windshield replaced at least 4 or 5 times total. Will use Horizon again.

Laura handled my transaction with cheerfulness and professionalism, even on a Monday morning. They were even courteous enough to remember to save the oil-change mileage sticker in the corner of the glass. Seems silly to mention, yes, but hey, the little details do matter. I can't believe the super-fast turnaround time on the work-they had a full lobby when I dropped it off and were still busy when I picked it up 2 1/2 hours later. I have absolutely no idea why anybody (previous reviewers) could possibly imply they are sluggish in any way. Knowing how New Mexico and its flying gravel treats windshields, I have no doubt I will be returning here again and again. Thank you.

These guys are amazing! I was passing through ABQ on vacation. My vehicle was vandalized at our hotel and one window was smashed. I called the Toyota dealership and they recommended Horizon. I called Horizon and they were able to get me right in. They said it would be a couple hours so Horizon paid for my Uber back to my hotel and had it come pick me up when my van was ready. Great customer service and they definitely went above and beyond. The next time I go through ABQ, I hope my window doesn't get broken again, but if it does, I'm going to Horizon!

The reviews of this business are funny. it's either the best business ever or it's run by the devil. I got in right away when they opened and they fixed my chip quickly. I'm knocking them a star because it would be nice if they stayed open past 5pm and I thought they didn't need to charge me for 2 chips when it was one rock that hit my windshield.

I’ve read good reviews about this company and bad reviews about this company. I understand there are competitors in this world that will just write bad reviews to get someone else’s business. I understand there are businesses that write good reviews on their own business just to make them sound good. I am neither of these. I must say I had some apprehension of using them when the owner told me that my project was a bit unique and they would try their best but made no promises and could not give me an exact quote. So, I gave them a smaller challenging project to test them out and they did a great job. Now, taillight tenting is not a risk free project. First off they ask you to supply the tint film. There are a lot of products out there but I found one and they used it. They did an awesome job, costed less than I expected and I would recommend them without hesitation. They got me in promptly to do the job and I paid a fair price for the glass and the re-tinting. There was, however, some damage done to my interior door panel in the process. You can wait for your car if you want...allow about two hours so take your computer or a good book ..or you can read magazines there, check our FB on your phone, or watch the tv there. Horizon does a great job and their tint work is second to none. They are just slow. Painfully, excruciatingly slow. I'm not sure if it is from being too busy and overbooking or poor time management, but it is frustrating. Almost every windshield I've ever replaced has taken an hour (max) to install and and hour to set/dry. After two hours and 10 minutes of waiting, I asked for an ETA and was told "at least another hour". They will do the job right but, take it from me, don't wait at the shop. Get a ride somewhere because it'll be a long while before you're back on the road.

I had Horizon replace my windshield on 11/6. I chose them over another glass shop that I have used several times because the ladies that answer the phone at Horizon went the extra mile to check on some specific glass that I wanted installed on my vehicle (while the other shop did not). When I arrived, I met Rod (the owner), who was kind enough to show me the benefits of ceramic tint and let me see the product on his personal vehicle. He took the time to answer all my questions thoroughly. During the install process, I met Gary the installation manager, and he was awesome. He went above and beyond installing the new glass and took extra steps to eliminate some rattles I was hearing in the dash. Gary installed the glass exactly as requested and did a perfect job. These guys are at the top of their game, and I will be back in the future.

Great job done by them. I was skeptical because I'm very ocd about my tint. I also like my tint dark. They exceeded my standards so far I have not noticed an error in my tint. They did exactly what I asked of them. I'm still looking for bubbles and haven't found any. They did give advice on going so dark and what that entails. You do need to be specific about what you expect if your expectations are the normal tint jobs. Regular length sun strip and just tinting to state legal level etc. They don't warranty your tint if it isn't to New Mexico legal level. That is my only complaint being from out of state I don't fall under this states tint laws.

I recently had my car tinted by Horizon Auto Glass using their most expensive, lifetime warrented tint, Solargard Ultra Performance. When I picked up the car I noticed that the tint for one the windows had a scratch in it. I pointed this out and they were apologetic and re-did this section and it looked much better. Before leaving I inquired about the bubbles on the edges of the tint on the back window and was told to bring the car back in two weeks if they were still there. Two weeks later the bubbles were still there so I brought the car back to have the problem looked into. They were able to push out the bubbles on the edges of the glass but explained that the smaller bubbles (I counted about 36 altogether) were never going to go away because they contained either dust or dirt, but that this was normal for a convertible and that I shouldn't expect any better. I'm skeptical of this explanation, as I have read that a quality install should have very few if any dirt bubbles. My previous car was tinted somewhere else and had zero bubbles, but was not a convertible, so maybe that was the reason for the difference? I honestly don't know whether or not it is acceptable for there to be around 36 dirt/dust bubbles on small back window or if they just did a sloppy job.

I highly, highly recommend. My Honda's front, passenger-side window inexplicably shattered late last night in a drive-thru (it was not shot out, busted out, etc). Horizon had the replacement glass in stock and was able to take my car 12 hours later. They completed the work in 1.5 hours this morning for nearly HALF the price ($173 incl. tax) of what Safelite was going to charge me ($303 + tax). Not to mention Safelite wasn't able to do the work for more than a WEEK. "Put plastic over the window," Safelite corporate scheduling guy said. Uh, no. Garcia Honda did not have the glass either, but I learned Horizon handles much of their glass work anyway. So, lesson learned: skip the middle man. God forbid I lose another window, I'll be returning to Horizon without hesitation.
