AMAZING FIRM! Very happy with their job. I came to Gardner and Mendoza with zero hope they could help my Green Card case. I had my first call with one of the firm partners and I finally felt someone was able to understand my case and give me great guidance on possible outcomes on my current immigration status. My Wife and I have used Ms. Mendoza’s service to accompany us for the Family Based GC Interview. Even though we had an out of state law firm who helped us filing, within a 3 weeks of short time she reviewed our case, set up consultation, take a mock-interview and give us advice. I specifically requested for the attorney Ms. Mendoza by looking at all of her raving reviews and she obliged my request. She was on time for the interview. She met us in the waiting area (Norfolk USCIS Office), made both of us feel very comfortable by talking about what we did the prior night, the drive and TV shows. We could tell we made a superb choice with her, as she knew almost 5-6 USCIS officers who walked down the hall and everybody made conversations with her. That showed us not only she know the law but also the Officers and how to approach them. Essentially that’s what you are paying for. She has a tad high consultation and retention fees but you get what you pay for and you pay for her expertise, experience and contacts. Our Interview itself was super lengthy (1 hour 25 mins) and deeply scrutinized on some unnecessary issues, even though our case was straight forward with no prior immigrational issues, fraud or financial benefits. The best part was we have submitted about 700 pages of documentation (proof) with our original submission and carried additional 400 pages of documentation with us. Ms. Mendoza carried all the 1100+ pages of documentation with her (sounds nitpicky right?) but guess what the USCIS Officer wasn’t able to view our original 700+ pages of proofs and we only carried the second set of 400+ pages. The attorney swooped in gave her entire copy (1100+ pages) she printed out and saved the day. The attorney also assisted us through email post the interview and genuinely cared about us. She’s very personable. Definitely recommend her!

Had my citizenship denied because of a reckless driving ticket compounded with COVID delays on achieving a resolution for my traffic court case. My options were to appeal to the decision, or to restart my my citizenship from the beginning (my reckless driving ticket occurred right after my last interview, all was left was to take the oath!). Mrs Mendoza strongly recommended the appeal even though my court case had not yet been resolved. Long story short, my immigration case has been reopened and I am now just waiting to attend the oath. شغل ممتاز 7 Months ago I landed in this country and looked for an immigration attorney. I visited 3 to compare and Ms. Mendoza was my chosen one. why? Others made me meet interns, receptionists , admins couldn’t risk 30 mints of the attorney time so why would I risk my money and time ? Here, we met Ms. Mendoza and based on the impression I got she seemed proactive, quick and attentive. I also asked few tricky questions to see what would be the answer and I was impressed by her ethics, quick answer. I like to work with people who are ethical, honest, legal, clear and straight to the point. no marketing over promises! this place was a bit more expensive than other about 400$ only or so and i find it was worth it. at later stages, I worked with a number of people in this office and all of them with no exception were quick, responsive and kept in touch with me in this long wait. This month I got my employment card and still waiting for others things to come. During the initial conversation with the receptionist, I was told that on the day of the appointment, around half an prior the phone consultation, I would receive a call to confirm the following appointment- that never happened. Consequently, when the attorney didn't call me at the time set up for a consultation, I contacted the office in order to find out whether or not appointment was still on. My contact info was taken again and I was promised a call back. In the meantime, attorney did call me (not on time) and left a voicemail offering to reschedule the appointment. So I called back again, and left my contact info (3rd time over). Today (the day after) I waited till afternoon to receive a call back, but it didn't happen. So I called agin to reschedule or cancel/refund my appointment. To my surprise, I was told that I have to wait another TEN days to make any of that happen. What a waste of time! (UPDATE) I have changed the rating of this bad review to "good", because the firm got back to me shortly after the incident, fully refunded deposit money, and offered a free consultation.
