Matthew and the team at Lawgena Lawyers are absolutely amazing. From the very first phone call til the very end of my case. I spent many months stressed and worried about my case and scared of what could happen. I called Lawgena Lawyers for help and Matthew was great! He listened to what I had to say and was very respectful. He made me understand what was going on and all my options. After two long years of getting nowhere with my previous attorney on my divorce/family law case, I began what I thought would be a stressful process of searching for a new attorney to represent me. I reached out to Lawgena Lawyers, left a voicemail and was surprised to receive a prompt call back, especially after hours since their office closes at 5pm. Matthew spoke to me about my situation, before even mentioning any kind of payment for consultation - which I was happy to pay, considering the amount of help and advice he offered free of charge. He is very knowledgeable and direct, tells you the reality of every aspect and is also compassionate. I felt heard and cared for, which is hard to find in an attorney these days. I was able to get a consult scheduled in less than a week & after my hour-long consult, he had helped me more than my previous attorney of two years. I wish I had found this firm from the start in 2020 when I started my case, I can't even begin to imagine the amount of stress I would have avoided. After speaking with Matthew back in May 2017, I told him what I am looking for (child visitation and partial custody) and that I live in CA and my child lives in WA. I highly recommend hiring Matthew Webbeking + the Lawgena firm. This is the second time I have had to hire Matthew. I feel confident in his guidance, advise, and expertise. Let me start by saying I have never wanted to be in family court. My daughter's father has taken me to court for child support (2x), and custody. He failed. Not only is my ex bitter and antagonistic, he is also extremely reckless. He falsified documents to hide his money, and lied in court. With the help of Matthew, we were able to show the court these discrepancies and have the case cancelled. Although difficult, I wanted to be sensitive to his mental health struggles, and try to retain some sort of copacetic relationship, for the sake of our daughter. Matthew has always understood this and advises me as such. I have always felt very informed on my options and choices, and have never felt pressured. Matthew, as well as Sara, have been great communicators. Matthew takes the time to explain to me all possible outcomes and scenarios, and Sara is very prompt with her replies. My experience with Lawgena has been great. Matthew took on my divorce case when I had to hire a new attorney at the last minute. He was able to get the courts to let me stay in the family home and spousal support for maintaining my house until we went to mediation. Being a retired disabled women and having to face the future of losing my home and things I worked for as much as my former spouse I felt I was entitled to a settlement that was fair. I cannot recommend Matthew Webbeking, and the entire Lawgena team, enough. I hired Matthew for temporary custody and temporary support. From beginning to end, Matthew was extremely efficient and professional. Considering this was my first experience with the court system, I was terrified, to say the least. My divorce case was a very hard case, because I only had a few days to find and hire an Attorney. Fortunately, Attorney Webbeking was able to take my case only two days before my Response with the court was due. At the hearing, he defended me and the commissioner approved basically everything that I had requested, even though my ex-wife was accusing me of things I hadn’t done, and was also requesting a restriction order against me. Thank to Attorney Webbeking, the court dismissed the Restriction order and accepted my Proposed Temporary Parenting Plan, and also ordered fair Child Support. Now, the biggest problem of my divorce is over and I am able to enjoy my time with my children.
