It was a 4+ year-long process, as perfectionist and critical as I am, his service has been nothing but impeccably thorough and above-and-beyond. So when my wife and i sat down and talked to Erick I had a different feeling that I had not felt with any other immigration lawyer I had met with before. A few years ago, I first interacted with Erick over Skype. Despite being on the other side of the world, his friendly demeanor and strong expertise of the ins and outs of immigration gave me full confidence that I was speaking with the right person. You'll see many reviews here stating how accessible Mr. Widman is. I can second that. Over these many years, Erick has consistently been prompt, helpful and informative. He packed so much into each interaction that I never felt the need to schedule a call longer than 15 minutes. Which isn't to say that our meetings were brief! Being Indian (haha!), I frequently stretched our calls to 25 minutes or longer. Erick never rushed them; he never made me feel that he was too busy to answer my many questions, or that he had other clients to attend to, or that I should be paying more for the extra time (which I would have). If his courtesy, soft skills and promptness were all that mattered, I would still have given a 5-star rating. But there's more - so much more! Erick gave timely and insightful advice that saved me (and my partner) from many pitfalls. The immigration process can be excruciatingly long, complicated and intimidating. Erick's advice was always spot-on! Without his support and expertise, I probably would not have been approved to live and work in the US. Like I said, he saved our relationship. I am only 21, applying for my green card was very scary. Me and my husband couldn't afford to hire a lawyer. But josh found him online and saw the consultation was only 200$.
