This law firm in Portland is the one that represented me in my disability case a couple of years ago. I guess they did everything they could to help me, but with the small amount of assistance I receive each month, it will never be enough to live on my own again, not in Washington state anyways. The only real upside of this is that I don't have to worry about trying to hold a legitimate job, but as it is I'm going to have to look at getting some kind of part time work just to be able to "get by". Nice staff from what I remember of our phone calls.

I've had this attorney office for a very short time and in that time I have been approved and waiting on the financial advisor and my benefits. I tried without lawyers and I was denied. The only thing I am and was a little bit confused was when I was sent my approval letter and an appointment time and date to goto SSA Office with the form. I ended up having to email these lawyers the approval letter because they knew nothing about me having already been approved. That my only complaint. Which is a very small one.

Kevin and his team of lawyers were able to get me the favorable decision that my other advocates could not. When Emily started letting the ALJ know the Why's, Where's, Hows of my case, I knew she actually looked and my case and read it. 9½ years I fought for my disability here in Alaska. The ALJ in Alaska was extremely difficult and she is very prejudice against me. But once they win your case, they pretty much quit helping. It says in my contract that they charge 25% or $6000.00, whichever is the lowest. Well they can charge you more then that. SSA kept $13,000 off the top for my attorney fees, they were paid in September of 2021. I still have not recieved the rest of that money, $7,000. I sent an email, ask why and was told that the lawyers may want more. Um, that was not stated in my contract. That they can change the amount. They did not start at the very beginning of this process. But helped me after all hearings and appeals were over. I wrote to the SSA and let them know a few things and they allowed me a new Judge and hearing..... that is when I hired them. But they are excellent and exceptional Attorneys, they were professional and very well familiar with my case. Just read the fine print. Thanks, Anna Smith, Alaska

Absolutely the best! I had no idea how to even begin a claim, so I did what many people told me not to do. Involve an attorney first. However, I didn't listen to them and I went straight to this firm, and asked them how to go about getting help. From the first minute I walked into the door, they met with me, talked with me, and had a long conversation of my issues and they were clear, and straight to the point about the process, how long it could take, their fee's and how they get paid, etc. Not a single hidden thing. That day I signed with them, and they got started. They are totally honest with you, and with the SSA, including doctors and professionals. They worked for me non stop. There were a few times. I got depressed and second guessing the process because of how long MY claim took. But they reassured me every step of the way that it can take a very long time. Not only did they win on my behalf, but they were there for me when I had questions, needed to get them info to help (ie; after care summaries from doctor visits, and notes by mental health pro's) They took my calls every time I called in, spoke with me to help me, even when I was feeling unsure, they always reassured me they're working on it, and you know what? They were!! I love these people, and I highly recommend them. They will work for you harder than anyone else, and they will be straight up with you whether they think you have a claim or not. I had one of His Associates and at first I thought I was getting burned do to the fact I got postponed for a month do to hiring the Office like weeks before My case was going to be heard. I absolutely would recommend this law office for Disability, they were wonderful. Kevin Kerr was my attorney and he was nice and made me feel comfortable when we went infront of The Judge. I was extremely nervous. It did take a few years to get an appointment with the Judge but that's because disability is really backed up. The attorney Kevin Kerr made sure they had all my medical/ doctors visits, all my surgery details, everything the Judge needed to review. The office kept in contact with me to let me know they were still working on my case. The office has followed up with me twice after my disability was approved, gave me information that I needed that nobody else would help me with. Disability is very hard to get, it's not a breeze like some people think it is, this office did everything in their power to help me and my situation. I suggest to anyone trying for disability to keep very good records, Dr's appointments, labs, surgeries ect. I really appreciate all they did for me.

My SSDI & SSI claims were denied twice after a very clear case of not being able to work after a severe MVA that left me impaired on my upper body and lower body. I hired Kevin Kerr and Merrill Schneider to work my cases on contingency based upon a friend’s referral in Portland who won after being denied when she retained Schneider Law. We had a hearing after waiting a year to get it scheduled. The Administrative Law Judge denied my claim by disallowing medical evidence that supported my claim! Schneider Law filed an Appeal in Federal Court and my case was reviewed. We had another hearing where all evidence was allowed and my decision came down as favorable! I could never have won my case without their help. They stood by me when I was at utter despair. Do yourself a favor. Hire Schneider Law so the Social Security folks take you seriously. You will save yourself a lot of time and heartache!

After 4.5 yrs of fighting, I was approved for Social Security Disability thanks to Schneider, Kerr & Robichaux.....I want to first thank Alyson Young and her legal assistants that were involved with my case...I really didn't have to do that much leg work...after 3 denials this firm had a team review my case and it was decided to go forward with a final appeal but in the mean time a second claim was established and a little less than 6 months later I was approved....I had given up but the law firm believed I had a case and they stuck with it...I am so very grateful to the Schneider, Kerr & Robichaux law office. I worked for 35 yrs between 2 careers and unfortunately my health got the best of me....I would say to people with disabilities to not give up and put your faith into the Schneider, Kerr & Robichaux law office....I can promise you if they feel you have a case then they will fight for you tooth and nail....Feeling so thankful for this law firms help...I read some bad reviews on this firm...Win or lose I feel this law firm was after my best interest....Nothing negative to say....Sorry others don't feel the same way.....Every case gets reviewed after a denial and there must be evidence to go forward....Just know these attorneys are working for free...They don't get paid if you don't get paid....I can guarantee they are doing all they can for you.

12 weeks later I got a partially favorable decision. They also maximized that payout with the auxiliary payment for my children over 1 in that period. Very helpful and willing to do the work that's needed. Original July 27th IJust had my first hearing with Amanda B as my rep. Despite repeated frustration from experts and judges. She stayed cool calm and Informed. Everything stated by an expert that didnt make sense or was wrong in any way she pounced. Any statements that were contradicting she was on it really making them question themselves and or change their statement. Once even admiting they were wrong or confused. Great representation. Couldn't ask for anything better.
