Criminal charges can be extremely scary and we usually don’t know where to turn. After reading the reviews, I decided to give Michael Stageman a call. He spoke directly to me that day on the phone and then met with me in person the next day. He was upfront about everything and answered all of my questions in a caring matter. This was my first time I needed a lawyer and Michael was on top of everything. To sum it up: I went to jail, stayed there one night, called Michael to be my lawyer, got out 2 hours after the call, went over everything, court was for a month and a half later but Michael got me in the following week with basically no charges and was able to get my bond back. Mr. Stageman represented me for a few charges I had. First, his fee was more then fair. Second, he was able to get me the minimum sentence for one charge (even with several priors) and the others dismissed. These were alcohol related offenses as I have struggled with alcohol for quite awhile. He set me up with people to help and checked in on me from time to time. He seemed to genuinely care. He was able to get me down to a non-aggravated 1st offense with the minimum amount of probation and ZERO jail time!
