I retained Jeff Courtney after I was arrested for DUI, charged and convicted of second offense, aggravated. I was facing a mandatory 30 days in jail plus the possibility of my DL being revoked for 15 years, maximum. Jeff and his younger associate, Frankie Hass, got the Prosecutor to lower the charge to non-aggravated and to the sentence reduced to 18 months of probation. I chose 10 days in jail over the option of 240 hours of community service. In phone conversations, I found Jeff to be knowledgeable, tough, and committed to giving me the best defense I could get. Frankie was very effective as his surrogate. The Office Manager, Allison is also as sharp and knowledgeable as most lawyers I have interacted with. Their price was reasonable, and I recommend them highly. It was a very stressful time, and I found them not only to be legally proficient but also to be sympathetic to me as a fellow human being. I do recommend them highly.

I had a pretty hefty speeding ticket and Mr. Courtney and his team took very well care of me. Only thing I would say is that they were a little slow at keeping me informed on how things were going. I basically didn't know anything until the day before or of my court date. Maybe that's how the justice system work or maybe I was just a small case in their eyes. Had me in a panic though whether they were doing anything or not. In the end, everything was dropped and I didn't even have to go in for a hearing so they took very good care of me!

we hired Jeff Courtney at the very last minute 27 days before we were to appear in trail for a custody removal case for my son. My son was taken from me a year and a half ago by his dad. I was unaware that because I had moved out of the state of NE that I had to have the permission from NE to move my child out of state. We had hired two attorneys previous to Jeff Courtney. We spent over 10,000.00 in attorney fees and never seen any work or progress on our case... But the money seemed to disappear quickly. A year and a half after Ago I filed the complaint we were finally going to go trial. All odds were against us due to the fact I moved out of state and that my child had resided in NE a full year and a half with his father. Jeff and Allison worked extremely hard to put together a strong case against my child's father to present to the judge. They worked on my case not only during work hours but also during their time away from the office. Jeff,Allison and his employees did very well communicating with me about everything involving our case. They responded quickly always within a hour or two. All odds were stacked up against us including Jeff Courtney. I was told multiple times by previous attorneys that I had very little chances of winning. Jeff Courtney did not feel that way. He was confident and determined to fight for the well being of my son. He did just that! He and his employees believed in us and genuinely cared about our situation. We went to trial and he gave his all that day in a 9 hour long proceeding. He never stopped believing in us and what he truly felt was best for our child. I can't begin to express in words how his and his alison dedication not only gave us hope but also returned our son to us. We found out this last Friday the judge had come to his decision... He ordered for my son to be immediately removed from his father and back into our custody. My son can now thrive in a healthy loving enviroent away from physical and mental abuse! Jeff Courtney seceded where so many others had failed my son. We can now live our lives without the stress we have lived with for so many years. Jeff and his staff have been more than helpful as I face the preliminary stage of my current case. I can not say enough about Jeff and his team. I had to hire them from out of state on an extradition warrant. I have never seen a lawyer act so fast and have certainly never seen one be so supportive. Allison was in constant contact with me even after hours reassuring me and letting me know what was going on. We were sure that my boyfriend was going to be shipped to Nebraska and spend months in jail waiting for this process to be over. My wife had a real big problem ...not only was jeff able to get a judge on it after hours everything he said that would happen did happen....to the T!
