I was recently charged with embezzlement with a previous employer and I was having a hard time navigating through this since it was my first offense (I had a clean record). I reached out to Ryan Garry and he handled my case extremely well. Not only was he knowledgeable, patient, persistent, and had great judgment as a lawyer, but a great individual to work with. He kept ensuring that I was in good hands and he would take care of everything (which he did). I was able to live comfortably during the case as well because Ryan was putting in a great amount of effort behind the scenes. Ryan is a kind, genuine individual who truly wants to help people and he makes sure you're taken care of. His rates are very reasonable for the amount of work he does! In the end, I was very happy with my results and Ryan persuaded the DA to dismiss my case! I can put this whole thing behind me and continue living my life.10/10 would hire him again.

Where do I start? How do you even begin to thank someone who took the worst experience of your life and made a complete 180 of it? I had an unfounded anti-stalking order filed against me by an unstable neighbor. Attorney Ryan Garry never judged me; let me vent; took my ideas/thoughts into consideration; always made himself available; and defended me zealously. He reminded me to not lose sight of what I could/could not control, and assured me that he would handle my situation. He did just that. Thanks to his due diligence and expertise, we were able to get my case dismissed yesterday. I am a Federal investigator; and am in the process of obtaining my security clearance. One person thought they could take that away from me, and Attorney Garry did not allow it. He absolutely *shut.it.down.* in court. Ryan Garry, Esq. was there for me on the worst day of my entire life. After being arrested and wrongly charged with several criminal offenses, I was desperate to find the best criminal attorney in the Minneapolis area. I read reviews online, which resulted in my finding Ryan and his firm; all the reviews on Attorney Garry were positive. Ryan had me as a client for four years, fighting for and representing me at every step along the way. He took time to explain everything to me and was always available by phone or email for questions. He was always at my hearings on time and often would meet with me at a local coffee shop an hour before our hearings to check in with me, strategize, explain the next steps, and answer any questions. I noticed that, when Ryan enters the courtroom, he is respected by the legal community right away. I believe that his positive relationships with Judges, Court Personnel, and other attorneys greatly assist his clients when he negotiates on their behalf- the legal community knows Ryan will courteously fight to get the best deal for his client. I was facing a serious felony gun charge in Minneapolis… locked up and sitting in jail. My family had access to a specific database of attorneys with specific amount of experience, and one of those Attorneys was Ryan Garry. The US Marshalls moved me into my own cell, and it was initially hard for Ryan to find me in jail, but luckily Ryan recognized one of the Marshalls, and was able to find me through that connection. After consulting with Ryan in Jail, I felt that I had someone in the perfect position to assist me with my situation. I didn’t know a lot about gun violations in Minneapolis, and Ryan not only educated me about what logically could happen, but there was a level of brutal honesty at what I was looking at. I really appreciated the honesty, He told me the basic law and how ridiculous it is the way these things get processed, but he had the ability to make a strong case on my behalf. I finally got released during my arraignment, and I knew that Ryan was the right guy to take care of me. My parents really like him, and I like him (still like him!), he has a positive manner about him. Ryan was so calm about everything, and even though my parents sometimes bugged Ryan to the extreme about updates … Ryan never complained about it, and always helped out with information. Ryan met with me after hours, before hours, during hours, … he knew my case was important and he always made time for me. I remember at one point I heard his kids in the background, but he would still call me for updates and let me know what was going on. It was just sad that I got to know someone with such great character under these really rough circumstances, because I would rather have met Ryan at a local pub. Ryan just seems like the kind of guy you always want to stay in touch with. Ryan got me released from custody, made a great case in front of the judge, and how it was an obvious mistake… I never would intentionally be irresponsible with any firearm or equipment, and I did not deserve to have a felony firearms charge on my record. The Judge agreed … and reduced the charges… Heavily. This was all thanks for making the right decision to hire Ryan Garry.

Some background: one of my family members is a police officer. When I found myself in a troubling situation with the law, I immediately went to her asking for advice on an attorney. Ryan and Elizabeth were recommended not only by her, but too, by a number of people on the Force. As it turns out, it was for good reason. Going into my case, my sister explained that the nature of my charges were going to make this a difficult case to 'win'. In fact, it was hard. Ryan and Elizabeth were there every step of the way. And they were responsive every hour of the day. And, in an industry ripe with 'frauds', they proved to be the real deal - true technicians. Ryan was up front with me when we first met that this case wasn't going to be an easy one. After a grueling and stressful number of months, Ryan and Elizabeth were able to get my case dismissed. They were creative in their approach; and they didn't ever stop. Recently, I wanted to get the case expunged. Doing so should not have proven to be difficult given the 'continuance for dismissal' ruling I was delivered. Turns out, it was hard indeed.
