Esq. Elroy Sequeira represented me through my charges from NH state. It was a pleasant experience all through-out. I was able to take care of everything remotely in NJ which was very convenient. And Elroy negotiated a reasonable sentence for my violations. Of course, price seemed a little excessive but my wife had done the initial research while I was unavailable so I'm sure price for service was competitive. Again, the overall experience changed my life for the better and I believe Mr. Sequeira's "bedside" manor helped me immensely. I would recommend him and Cohen/Winters if the need ever arises again.

We recently had a need to update older wills and estate planning documents and our previous Attorney who was retiring referred us to this firm. The initial consult a few months ago over the phone was much more detailed than we expected and Attorney Andrew Winters collected information pertaining to our specific needs so he could advise accordingly. He answered every question and offered suggestions regarding several issues we had not even thought about. Once all the documents were prepared including a Living Trust we had numerous questions as the documents were extensive at least from a layman’s point of view. An in person meeting was then arranged to include our son as he would be the final Trustee down the road. Again, all of our questions were resolved and some additional changes made after further discussion. The signing of all the documents last week went quickly and Andrew and the staff we had contact with were all very friendly and easy to work with. We highly recommend this firm.

I recently went through a difficult divorce following a 37-year marriage. To make matters worse my original attorney from a different firm had to disengage from my case 1 month prior to the Final Hearing. I felt the opposing counsel took advantage of my situation and dishonestly and unethically misrepresented my case to the court. This contributed to a final decision of the court that in my mind and many other people opinions was grossly unfair for me. At the recommendation of a long-term friend, that is a local City Attorney, I contacted Cohen & Winters to see if they could help me. Due to the complexities of my case and the Final Decision I was warned that it would be difficult to turn things around but due to my desperation they agreed to represent me further. I was assigned Attorney Mary Gaiser. Upon reviewing my case Ms. Gaiser also voiced concern with the difficulties of my case but agreed to give it her best shot. Ultimately, she was able to negotiate a better settlement for me than what was in the original Final Order. I found Ms. Gaiser to be great to work with, she returned messages timely and kept me fully updated and informed, and clearly is an expert in Family Law and in particular divorce cases.
