Special thanks to Anahi Garzon and Michelle Ramirez who took care of me like family. 9 months ago I was hit by a crazy person that took a red light and told their insurance that I was at fault and that I took the red light. Luckily I was able to get video footage from a restaurant near by it proved that they were at fault. This has been my experience with Jacoby and Meyers. Started out great, seeing doctors on my insurance, got that switched to Jacoby and Meyers appointed doctors, so I didn’t have to use my insurance and worry about that. It was after the switch, that I had to call and get updates, I would call and let them know I had completed the appointment and what to do next. Very rare did I receive a phone call about any part of my case. Fast forward, won the case, satisfied with the amount. Now I’m sure most people reading this have sent mail, or received mail and are kind of aware how the postal system works. A letter takes 3 days to go out of state and delivered. I live 20 minutes from the office that represented me, I have been waiting for a 3 day letter for longer then 20 days. Could be it wasn’t mailed and I am getting the run around. Me personally it felt like there was a major lack of communication. If I need a attorney again, I’ll do my research and look for an office that suits my communication needs. After speaking with a team member from Jacoby and Meyers, and going over my concerns, I feel like this may have been a once only type of situation. The team member listened to what I had to say and was fully engaged in finding solutions. I think that other cases in the future may be affected by the interactions I had with the team member and they may have a positive outlook and a positive reaction. After talking to the team member I would give Jacoby and Meyers another chance if I were ever in an accident again, and refer others to them.

Let me start by saying that I am so thankful I called this firm. In December 2021 someone crashed into me. At the time I didn't know the extent of my injuries, but I called jacoby & meyers because it was a serious accident. Since day they made sure my to assist my injuries and make sure I received the proper treatment. Vanessa Reyes my case manager is just an angel. I don't know what I would have done without her. I forgot to write this review earlier, but my experience with the lawyers at Jacoby & Meyers was great. Beatriz and her team were very attentive to my case from the start and made sure everything was taken care of. They sent me to different physical therapists to help me recover from my back and elbow injuries. They would check-in with me to see how I was doing. I did not have to worry about the status of the because they made sure everything was going well and kept me updated. I did not have to miss any workdays because they were able to set my therapies on my schedule. I received excellent compensation and did not have to go back to accept it because they mailed it. I experienced a slip & fall due to thawing poultry in a market on Thanksgiving Eve 2019. Taken to the hospital & examined for hours. Once released I was barely ambilitory , trying to find anyone who might help me get back to where my car was left, on Thanksgiving Eve. I was a mess! My left knee looked like a melon, all I was able to do was lie down and watch TV. But the pain & swelling persisted. By mid-day Saturday I was Angsting; do I return to an ER? Energy's Ctr? How will I ready myself to visit my PCP on Monday?... It seemed like an insurmountable task. Since all I could do was lay around and watch TV I had seen more than one of the Jacobian Myers commercials, and I started thinking, " could they help me"? So I gave them a call on Saturday assuming they wouldn't be open but they would call me back when they were available I heard back from them within the hour gave them a basic rundown of what I had experienced and they said they'd be glad to help me. Just having someone to talk to at that point in time meant the world to me. Shortly thereafter I was contacted again and coupled with an attorney who would help me make follow-up arrangements for medical assistance. Her name was Guiane, thanks to her efforts, it's been a year and a half but I can thankfully say my knee has healed completely and my back issues have also been addressed. I didn't realize how long a settlement could take or the complications that could arise, therefore my patience was very short in my case. The insurance co. of the party at fault lied about where the damage was on the other party's car and refused to send pictures to prove their claim trying to blame 50% of the accident on me. I found where the car was myself and took pictures of the damages and sent them to my attorneys office. The office of Akiva Niamehr set the other party's insurance straight real quick so the other party took 100% of the blame. The process took over 2 years and my patience was wearing thin and I was quite a challange but they were patient with me and explained that each level of a claim is handled by a different person which is very time consuming. Everyone was professional and patient. Knowing what I know now I would recommend them.
