I’m telling you they lifted all of the stress off of my shoulders the moment they accepted me as a client. Great law group. A situation occurred in our family that was completely unforeseen. We needed to immediately hire an attorney. Initially we hired the wrong attorney through a different law group. I felt at that time, we were not listened to, on a timer, paperwork could only be signed in person, communication was horrible. Getting DUIs is not ideal, but unfortunate events happen. From the first moment I spoke with attorney Sophie all the way to the end and even after she has been helpful, responsive and understanding. Every step, every movement that was made Sophie made sure the was informed. Answered all of my questions and helped ease the stress. First off, let me say from personal experience and from having friends and relatives as attorneys in other states, that it is crucial to be represented by established, professional lawyers to prevent being taken advantage of by the US justice system. Fortunately, I found Las Vegas Defense Group. The paralegals were very friendly and able to walk me through step by step, as laws and procedures are different from state to state, before I even hired the firm. One of the best things about retaining Las Vegas Defense Group is their entire firm really does help with the case. Our lead attorney was Michael Castillo. We met on multiple occasions to discuss options and strategy. Michael gave us recommendations and possible outcomes, but made it clear that the final decision was ours. He ended up getting us a plea deal that was better than anything we had even considered. He is clearly good at his job and very experienced. Our case manager was Eric Trolson and he went above and beyond in every aspect of his job. He was always in contact with us, literally available 24/7, explained every detail of our case and what to expect. Hello, my name is Veronica . & I would review this Las Vegas defense group a five. Even though I didn’t retain their services. My case is as follows: my dad was requesting Gardening services from a person who provides service to one of my neighbors and he asked to see the space where My dad needed service. My dad said it was in my backyard. That My dad would first have to restrain my German Shepard/husky dog to prevent the dog from running around or jumping on him while he examine the site of service. He agreed my dad tied my dog. Walked back to the fence to invite the Gardner in then realize my dog had freed himself from his leash and as my dog ran towards as to greet them the gardener panicked and shoved my dad in front of him and continued to shove him back and fourth instead of stepping outside the fence. So my dog at this point was in protective mode and bit the Gardner in his stomach. I immediately ran outside and became aware of the situation and called 911 and the dog pound and reports where made . Pictures were taken. Later the gardener filed a lawsuit stating that my dog bit his face and neck and stomach and that he’s “traumatized “ and needs $15,000 to relieve himself . However in the reports and pictures taken that day there is only his true report of exactly what happened that day which is he got bit once and slightly in the stomach cops determined and the dog pound determined it to be minor and so im going in to court for a dismissal for the one bite rule Nevada has . In which the law group informed me about. Since my dog has never bitten anyone ever and My dad did not act with negligence. My dad did restrained my dog but he managed to free himself and this unfortunate event occurred. So I’m hoping to get this case dismissed.

On May 29th, my boyfriend had gotten stopped driving my car. Apparently, I had an arrest warrant dating back to September 2007 that I knew nothing about; luckily I wasn't in the car at the time, but imagine my surprise to know that I've been riding around Las Vegas for 9 years with an arrest warrant. It was an arrest warrant for Grand Larceny! Needless to say, I freaked out. I instantly went onto Google and searched for some representation and counsel. The Las Vegas Defense Group was the first number I called and from that initial phone call I knew I was in good hands. They were able to see me that day and accommodate my work schedule. I met with Mr. David Kohlmeier, the Case Manager, and Mr. Daniel Page, my fabulous attorney and they were able to ease my nerves a bit. The fact that it was a warrant issued 9 years ago and I have no priors was a plus. They did make me aware of any worst case scenarios, as not to have any surprises; such as a possible OR walkthrough. Anyhow the day of my court appearance, Mr. Daniel Page met with me and explained the details of the charges against me. He was very informative and made sure that I understood everything. As I have never been in this situation, he was very helpful. At one point while standing in front of the judge, I think I lost my ability to speak due to nervousness until Mr. Daniel Page leaned over and whispered in my ear, "Say yes", when I was asked a question by the judge. Thank you, Daniel, for that one! In the end, the conclusion was nowhere near as bad as I thought it was going to be. Mr. Daniel Page was able to get my Grand Larceny charge down to Petty Larceny. My fine was only $1000 or 100 hours of community service with a restitution of $250. In 6 months as long as I can stay out of trouble, which shouldn't be too hard since I've obviously been out of trouble for the past 9 years, this will not be on my record. Not only did the Las Vegas Defense Group amaze me with their excellent service, but they also were able to work with me on payment for their service. From the bottom of my heart, I thank the Las Vegas Defense Group! I absolutely recommend them to anyone that needs legal help, advice, direction, etc. THANK YOU LVDG!!!

My experience with LVDG left me feeling great. From the beginning, I felt like my relatively minor case was treated as if it were a very serious one. While hanging out at my house, I heard a strange knock at my door. The police informed me that I had been a very serious accident and that they knew it was me. I told them that I didn’t know what they were talking about. They told me a tow-truck was on its way to impound my car and I only needed to confess to take care of everything quickly. I continued to tell them that I didn’t know what they were talking about. This took about 3 hours and left me very shaken up. About 2 weeks later, I got a notice in the mail from LVMPD that I was the suspect in a hit and run investigation. This frightened me. How could the police accuse me of this? Are my rights being violated? What’s going on? I knew this was the time to consult a lawyer. I researched the Law Firm that I noticed represented police in previous cases, and that had former police officers on its staff. I knew that this sort of rapport with police would expedite my case, as they would be able to relate to the detective(s) investigating me on mutually understandable terms. Upon meeting with the first of three individuals involved on my case, David Kohlmeier, Case Manager immediately made me feel the full implications of my case. He let me know the potential progress and possible punishments of my case, the benefits of retaining the law firm to protect me, and the cost structure for all of it. Nothing was unclear. He made me feel confident that he knew what he was talking about. The next person I met with was In-House Private Investigator - William Simpson who personally investigated on my behalf and spoke to the detective on my behalf to figure out an appropriate time for me to go speak with him, as well as probing for information to give us a clearer understanding of what exactly I was being accused of. She and I went down to the detective’s office to discuss my case, and her presence made me feel completely at ease with this interaction. She arrived exactly on time and she did her job well in making sure the interview was by the letter.
