Had an accident in 2021 and was represented by the Bergquist Law firm. The process took a little over a year because the other driver was contesting. As with other reviews on here, my case did take long (2 years) but as someone who’s had to deal on numerous occasions with insurance claims the length of the case is always extended to the maximum amount by the insurance not the firm in order to make it very difficult for an individual to claim what rightfully belongs to them. I had the best experience one could ask for in the situation I was put in. I was struck from behind by a vehicle driver who was on a phone not paying attention. They were going above the speed limit and as a result I had a second collision with vehicle in front of me. The initial vehicle was a complete loss with the engine on the street. The person who caused the crash had the lowest policy limits allowed in the State of Texas. Although I personally have underinsured policy limits I pay for, my insurance didn’t want to pay out. My medical bills were close to 100k. As a result, I had to file suit against my own insurance to get the doctors I treated with paid. Josh Harrison at Bergquist’s office made things extremely easy and kept me informed during the whole process. They held the insurance companies responsible for the coverage I pay for monthly. The best part is they were persistent and completed the process thru mediations and we were able to agree out of court.
