Wow! What an experience working with Marc Harden and his team at Zaner Harden Law. I was badly injured in an accident two years ago and called Marc for his assistance and expertise. He took on my case and I was thoroughly impressed with the due diligence and prep he performed on the front end. He even had a professional video created that I believe told the story and explained the severity of my case better than any words or letters could have provided. Marc Harden and his team did a great job with my case. It was a complicated case with several injuries, and the professionalism and attention to detail throughout the process was noted and appreciated. This was a complicated case, complicated further by the lack of cooperation by the defense team. Despite telling me early on that they would make me an equitable offer on the case, they decided to file a motion to blame the accident on people that were in front of me instead of their semi that hit me from behind. Bottom line is I think Marc and his team are the reason why we had a successful outcome in this case. If I had not engaged their services, I think I would be at a loss and after five years of fighting with these people who ruined the great part of the last five years for me, I do not know where I would be without them. I'm deeply grateful for their attention and caring during my case. I feel like Marc was my ally. And my friend and I feel like he had my back all the way throughout the case. After being hit in a crosswalk by an inattentive driver while riding my bicycle to work in 2017, I was left with a shattered right knee. After spending the next two and one half years in and out of the hospital for eight surgeries and months and months of physical therapy, the driver’s insurance company was offering numbers that can only be described as ludicrous. In December of 2019, we were at a standstill. Then there was covid19. Trial dates were set, then rescheduled and rescheduled again then canceled. At this point it was looking like years until a conclusion. Kurt and Sarah, my attorneys, were able to get the insurance company to a reasonable settlement number. It was not what we had hoped for, but it was reasonable and way above what they were originally offering. After my accident, I filed a claim with the offending persons insurance company and they paid the policy limits quickly. That person had only state minimum insurance coverage that was no where near enough to cover my injury. Thankfully, I had UM/UIM (uninsured/under insured motorist) coverage on my policy. Zaner Harden Law is the knight you need to stand up against the insurance companies. I got hit by a driver that ran a red light. My car was totaled. I had $50K of hospital bills. The other insurance company denied everything. Zaner Harden came through! They hired a private investigator to find all of the witnesses (who didn't fill out a police report or stay after the accident). With all the evidence the other insurance company admitted fault and payed me... but there was a problem. The guy only had the minimum coverage of $25K and I still had bills. I thought I was fine... I had under-insured motorist coverage and my insurance company has a duty to take care of me. WRONG... My insurance company refused to pay me because (In their opinion) my bills were too high. Luckily, I had Kurt Zaner and Elliot Singer on my side. They knew exactly how to handle the insurance company. They were ready for us to go to trial. Finally my insurance company paid the coverage, and I was all taken care of. They communicated with me every step of the way. They contacted the hospitals so that I didn't have to worry about anything going to collections. They even helped negotiate my bills on my behalf. It's sad, but you absolutely need an attorney when it comes to personal injury. I couldn't have done it myself. With Kurt and Elliot, I had complete peace of mind the whole time and I never had to worry about anything.

I was rear-ended and my car was slightly crushed between two cars. My car had about $8,000 worth of damage and I had neck and back problems as a result of the accident. After about 4 months of being bullied around by the other driver's insurance company, who was telling me "according to our research, you should be healed by now" (you can imagine what I wanted to say back to them), I finally decided to give Kurt Zaner a call. Back in the spring I got into a pretty serious wreck on my motorcycle. A Kia took a left turn right in front of me and I didn't have a chance. First of all, I really wish I could give Kurt Zaner and his team much more than a 5 star rating. To me; they are worth a billion, heck.. ∞. Some little history: I have been a client to Mr. Zaner since October of 2016 when I was t-boned by a car turning left on the red arrow while I was going through on the green and hit at over 40 mph. The guy who hit me completely blew out two brand new off-road tires, incurred a severe head injury and horrible whiplash as well as totaling my 2001 Isuzu Rodeo. The driver had no insurance, suspended license, and expired plates. When I reported this to my insurance company of Travelers, they really were against paying anything of what was entitled under my full coverage. As well as some other issues they wanted to pull including bad faith and harassment. At the time I worked at the Denver Athletic Club and that is where I met Mr. Zaner. Initially reluctant to get any legal aid and just deal with it as it comes. He mentioned it would be best to go after travelers since they aren’t doing this good faith and fair share under my coverage. So I did, and it was the best decision I have ever made in my entire life. I would completely regret if I didn’t make that decision to take him up on his offer, as eventually a month later Travelers didn’t even pursue the guy for my 500 dollar deposit and said good luck and then raised my rates which I ended up going to a different insurance company all together. Kurt and his team; Sarah and Monica, kept me informed on everything that was going on and fought tooth and nail to make sure I didn’t get screwed over by my insurance. Eventually, it came down to trying to have them pay enough to help with the issues and health bills. And Kurt and his team did just that, at first my insurance was being a real bad faith sort of pal. It eventually was getting close to the terms of limitations over 2 years times due to them just being as slow as ever. They offered still a low number below what would be considered fair, so a bad faith lawsuit was impending. Then a mention of mediation was brought forth to the table, and Kurt showed hard Strength and Courage against them, he made me feel so confident and it was brought up to an OK price but still a very low-ball estimate. They were even trying to bring up one of my pre-existing conditions that I’ve had at birth to use as means to not pay which infuriated Kurt and me. It was either take the deal or go through with a lawsuit. We walked out with our heads held high and the impending lawsuit would now take place, the documents were filed. The insurance company found out right then and there that we meant business so they offered an extremely fair price right after. I took all of Mr. Zaner’s advice during the entire process and no lawsuit happened and got an extremely worthwhile and fair deal. My case was a bit complicated due to the issues with both Kaiser and my pre-existing condition and even that did not deter him. He even offered to take cuts to help pay off Kaiser and other issues. I personally got to know Kurt and his team and I really enjoyed working with them. There is a real reason why he’s the top lawyer for these cases stated in the 5280 magazine and won awards. He told me himself that winning my case was like one of the million dollar cases with the same feel of justice and rewarding satisfaction. I feel the same exact way. Lawyer!? I never thought I would need a lawyer. Then I was rear ended in my Chevy Silverado stopped at a red light. She bent the frame of my truck and I sustained head and neck injuries, but still why would I need a lawyer? I had full coverage and so did the girl who hit me. In a no fault state like Colorado and $10,000 in Med-pay coverage through my insurance company, again I should be good. I was wrong. I am a self employed hairstylist and was the sole provider at the time for my family.If I don't work I don't get paid, plus I take the chance of losing all my clients. Her insurance company said if I had loss of wages I could file for that but I needed letters from every client I could not see, plus my tax returns. I was in so much pain I couldn't see straight, but I kept working. I was afraid they wouldn't come through, and how was I going to pay my bills. Going from doctors to therapists, nothing was helping. Every person that I witnessed had contact with him, liked him (the other attorneys, the mediation judge, etc.) This is my opinion, but I think the opposing insurance attorney quit after dealing with Kurt. I could see it in his face, he wanted to hate him, but he couldn't because Kurt is so personable, sharp and the jurors would have loved him too. We ended up settling out of court which was great. my only regret was that I would have loved to see Kurt in action during a trial. If I could give Kurt 10 stars I would, and that goes for the whole law firm. Zaner/Harden Law will be the only law firm I ever endorse. And in the end yes I did need a Lawyer. Glad I found a good one!

Following our car accident my girlfriend and I sought out the services of Zaner Harden based upon our research and reviews. We are VERY glad that we landed here to pick up these 'teammates.' When I first experienced the physical and mental trauma of my car accident I was on my way to school at the Auraria Campus. I was simply going about my business - like all of us tend to do - when I was suddenly struck from behind by a fellow driver on the 6th Avenue & Kipling on ramp. Choosing a lawyer seems like an easy thing right up uyntil the moment we need to do so. In my personal injury case, I went to 3 firms prior to Zaner-Harden. What set ZH apart was that they actually listened to what I had to say, stupid questions and all, and answered me in terms I could understand, stupid questions and all. Elliot Singer, my attorney, and Monica Cherry, Paralegal non-pareil, made absolutely certain I was informed of the good as well as any bad, which is huge to me because I never felt like they were trying to obfuscate or minimize any aspects. It was just put out there as it was and options were discussed. No drama, quick acting, fully informed, AND they give u a swag bag - slightly less than the ones given at the academy awards but useful and thoughtful things nonetheless.
