I contacted Ben during a very sensitive situation. While emotions were running high he kept me calm and assured that everything would be fine. He was right and true to his word. My issue was dismissed without me even having to go in front of a judge. He is very professional and intentional. He made himself available all hours of the day for any questions or concerns I had. When I saw all the five star reviews on this law firm, I was skeptical. However, after having had them handle a case for me recently, I have had nothing but a positive experience for an otherwise not so positive situation. Don Olsen was the attorney who handled my case, and me, having absolutely no personal experience with the justice system in the past, I was apprehensive at first because he looks so young (my Mom was a Matlock and Perry Mason fan)! From the first time I met him and he approached me, he introduced himself with a firm handshake along with the young lady who was with him, Gina, I was put at ease by their very professional and confident demeanor. I am not sure where to begin with, but I am very happy today that I made the right decision when I chose Luftman, Heck & Associates. I was charged with an OVI few months ago with no priors. Mr Luftman took our situation into consideration and gave us a great rate a few months ago when he represented my fiancé. I couldn't have asked for a better outcome than what I got with Luftman, Heck, and Associates. The money that they will save you in fines and fees alone are enough to cover their cost, and then some. Ben and Don were able to get charges lessened or dismissed and prevented any points to my license. The best thing, other than a clean record, is that I didn't even have to step one foot inside a courtroom!! They handled everything for me and I didn't miss any work! My case went and and everything seemingly transpired perfectly, I never even went into a courtroom. So in this regard I found the firm to be exceptional, that much I will say... I found however Mr. Luftman to be a bit rude when he found himself perturbed at my asking/calling for a status update. Maybe it was a busy day for him, I left a voicemail after a month had transpired just worried and wanting a little assurance, truly nothing more. My message was not cloaked in its implications, I said clearly my reasons, I was not rude or demanding at all. He took it as my questioning his stature or capability and was really very short and aggressive over the phone, he called me back really not to update me as much as to express his frustration. I really wasn’t in a position but to put my tail between my legs lest receive lesser representation had I fired back the way he did. So I took it... In the end he did his job well, I suppose he thinks himself uniquely busy. I myself own two local businesses myself. I’ve had bad days, but if you are putting way it out over quality to a point where you can’t sit still long enough to represent yourself calmly on behalf of your clients concerns then you should slow down perhaps. Needless to say if you hire these guys I’m sure the job will done exceptionally well.

What surprised me though, was that at Luftman, Heck & Associates, the pricing was up to 50% LESS than some of the other legal options I explored. But THAT isn't what sold me. I've been represented by Dan Sable and Ben Luftman on separate occasions. They say hindsight is 20/20, right? For me, going to court for the first time was scary and nerve-racking because I didn't know what to expect--I never had a parking ticket even! They explained, in detail, the circumstances of my case, my options, as well as possible outcomes, which eased some of the stress involved. I was very happy with their expertise and the favorable outcome of my cases--one I had no points added to my license and only paid court costs, on the other one, I had the fine reduced and court costs but no points on my license. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of help from a reliable, trustworthy attorney. But what REALLY sold me, was how personable the attorneys were. I had questions and concerns but they have always been there for me (past and present). Good customer service is something I think we've come to expect. But from my experience, this went well beyond that. Write their number down--you don't get this kind of effort put forth with a membership card nowadays. Unfortunately having been in a position twice in life where I have needed a lawyer, I searched out for the top attorneys and came upon Ben Luftman’s firm. Having read many successful stories of former clients, I decided to have Ben be my council. When I call him, he is always ready to answer the phone and advise me of my options. Being charged with a 4th degree misdemeanor for criminal trespassing was very frightening as I had no prior convictions, not even any charges. After speaking with 3 different law firms, I made the decision to go with Luftman, Heck & Associates. The decision was a good one ! First, Daniel Sabol made two court appearances on my behalf saving me the time and inconvience of needing to appear myself. Next, Joseph Kunkel attended the pretrial on very short notice and did well negotiating and communicating the basis of my not guilty plea to the prosecutor. Finally, Benjamin Luftman appeared at the trial date and ultimately the charge was dismissed with only having to pay minimal court costs. From the beginning, Attorney Luftman estimated the case may take 3 to 9 months to resolve when I first spoke with him by telephone. He didn't promise that the case would be dismissed but did indicate there was a good possibility of a favorable resolution. From beginning to end, the case took 6 months. In addition, barring any unforeseen barriers, it is likely that the charge also will be expunged. Dan Sabol spoke with me in person and by phone multiple times to keep me abreast of the circumstances and his communication with prosecution. Also, Sarah Baxter and the support staff were always very prompt and professional. The legal fees were very competitive. My instinct is that most if not all other firms would have been more expensive. Anyone facing unfair or unwanted charges in Franklin County should strongly consider hiring Luftman, Heck & Associates.

I landed myself in legal trouble for the first time in my life on January 17th, 2019. I had no idea what to do. I started my defense with the use of a public defender. It didn’t take me long to realize he was trying to just move the case along as quickly as possible and was accepting what the prosecution was offering without any fight. I met with Ben Luftman for a free consultation. He told me exactly what he thought he could accomplish and how he would do it. I was facing multiple charges. I’ll address them individually...First charge: DUI: the public defender was willing to accept a 1 year license suspension and “party plates” for this (first ovi ever). With Mr. Luftman’s vast knowledge of Ohio OVI laws, he got this reduced to 6 months and no awful yellow “party plates”. Very pleased with their service. Very professional and nice. This was the third speeding ticket I've had this year since I got my new car. I was stuck with a 103mph in a 55 mph zone. I had a lot of very bad possibilities for this (including jail time) and for $500 they got me completely out of it (without me even having to go to the courthouse one time) without any fines (AT ALL!), no points to my license, no suspension, and the case was dismissed.. All I had to do was a $25 defensive driving school and pay court costs. It was almost as if it didn't even happen in the first place. My name is Chris. Ben Luftman helped me when I needed it more than ever. I made the mistake one night of driving to McDonald's after having one too many drinks. It had been a long day at work, and I was both tired and under the influence. I blacked out completely as I was sitting in the drive through. My next conscious memory is of sitting in the back of a squad car, covered in pepper spray, with multiple charges, including resisting arrest (even though I wasn't conscious during the arrest), and driving without a license. When I was released from jail 3 days later, Ben worked closely with the prosecuting attorney on my behalf, and successfully pled me down to just a moving violation and a minor misdemeanor rather than the resisting arrest with which I had been charged. In so doing, he not only enabled me to continue driving legally to and from work, but spared me a further 7 days in jail to which the magistrate would have preferred to sentence me.
