I am 100% pleased with my experience with Mr. Carlson and his team. From the very first email inquiry through the ruling in my case- the communication was honest, timely, and truthful. My case was unique, and an uphill battle- as an Active Duty service member living out of state, requesting custody of my children who resided in Alaska- all while preparing to move to another state. The surface facts were against me. Working with the team, we were able to demonstrate why the children are much better under my care. And the entire process went smoothly. And my children are home!!! I would recommend his office to anyone seeking legal advice, especially service members. If any future needs arise- I know who I will call.

My husband is in the Army, and he was served a Notification of Discharge. Our family is a single income family, and we rely on the income that the Army provides, which includes the health insurance. We were devastated how our family could be affected by discharge. After careful consideration, we decided to seek civilian representation to support us through the discharge process. We contacted Carlson Law Group, LLC based on the firm’s experience and reputation in military matters. Brad Carlson and Heather Hemenway were the attorney and paralegal assigned to our case. The two of them listened to our concerns, reviewed the Notification of Discharge, and found numerous legal errors. Moreover, they provided the command with information regarding our family circumstances along with my husband being retaliated against. In the end, the command discontinued the discharge process, and my husband’s military career is saved! This stressful situation is such a relief for our family, and we could not have done it without the help of Carlson Law Group, LLC.

I was immediately impressed with the fact that they returned my phone call right away and we were able to quickly get down to business. The State brought charges against me for conduct that did not happen the way the State claimed it to have happened.
