I honestly believe there is no better law firm or one that will work harder for you. When I was divorced 28 years ago, my marital settlement agreement included a portion of my ex husbands 401K and pension which was never awarded to me. David Crum’s firm worked hard to intercede with the Department of Labor and was able to compel the benefits plan administrator to release the 401k funds and even filed a new motion to make sure I was awarded the pension benefits. David kept me in the loop the entire time and even called me while he was on vacation to let me know how my case was progressing. I don’t believe any other law firm could have done a better job. I am so grateful to New Mexico Legal Group!

My divorce took one year and three months to complete. We had no assets no, money, and nothing to fight about except the parenting plan. Usually, divorces like mine are handled very quickly and for very little money. However, when you are working with another party that is in the military, and regardless of military service is a very difficult individual to boot, with a lawyer that could match him for whit, things take a long time. My lawyer was Robert Matteucci Jr. of New Mexico Legal Group, and he handled this drawn out divorce and the difficult other party with a lot of finesse and skill. This was a frustrating situation, and he maintained constant composure through every bit of it. He knows his material, and is on the ball when it comes to responding to emails and phone calls. When the other party or his lawyer were degrading to my character, as an individual, he was quick to my defense, and I felt that my lawyer really had my best interest and the interest of my kids at heart. His paralegal Krista Barnett should be a lawyer herself, and I appreciated how quickly she got things taken care of. I would highly recommend this law firm for divorce and family matters, and I would highly recommend this lawyer to anyone going through this type of situation.

Talking about divorce isn't necessarily easy, but I'd happily share a great experience with something complicated and emotionally draining. Before I started the process I looked into 4 other legal groups before I hired Mr. Matteucci. His process, cost, and personal nature won me over. The process started March 2019 and the divorce was finalized July 2019. He was a mediator between my ex and I. Every part of the process was met by this legal team in a warm and professional manner. After 14 months of motion after motion and thousands of dollars and not much closer to a settlement, we looked for different representation for our daughter's divorce. We found Emma Whitley at New Mexico Legal Group. At the time our daughter was 6 weeks from going to trial for the divorce. Emma did more the first 5 hours she had the case than we were able to accomplish over the last 5 months. In 15 days she had the mediation scheduled with an excellent mediator, opposing counsel on board, and in 6 hours of mediation the divorce was settled. She took control of the mediation, set the parameters and somehow had everybody working together for a fair and reasonable settlement. Without Emma we would be facing $15-20,000 in additional legal fees, and an unknown outcome. If you are facing a divorce, go to a Family Law Attorney. I hired New Mexico Legal Group two years ago and have been represented by Joseph Wiseman. Prior to working with their firm, I had an attorney representing me, and years of experience in the courtroom. I would like to provide some feedback on how Joe Wiseman handled the hearing we had recently For many years, the opposing party has kept a tone pitching that he has done no wrong and I have been an absent parent. Joe Wiseman was able to take the years of evidence and utilize the facts of the case to demonstrate that the opposing party has in fact played a significant role in why my children have been estranged. As a result, the judge recognized that the opposing party has in fact contributed a significant amount of trouble for this case. This ultimately changed the tone of my case at the end of the hearing which is something that my previous attorney was not able to overcome. We had a favorable outcome and I would like to recognize Joe Wiseman for his efforts!

The second time NMLG helped make the experience as non-confrontational as possible. I paid for the consultation $225 for one hr and the lawyer just kept looking at her phone every time It rang. I mean I paid her and found it very disrespectful because her attention should have been completely on me not her phone. Every time it would ring I had to pause because she would answer and sometimes I would forget what I was talking about or what i was going to ask her. The retainer fee of $6000 is way out of my pocket. I was told between $1500 and $3000 depending on my case which i don’t think it’s that complex. I wish they had a payment plan. I was really excited and looking forward to possibly hire one of them to represent me.
