Great event venue. Gazebo and flowering trees on the river in a garden setting. Building has large open space that will accommodate 175. Professional kitchen for caterers. Garden Club meets at 9:45 on the first Wednesday on the month, September-May. Visitors and new members are welcome.

As a wedding planner for Cherished Ceremonies Weddings, we have arranged several weddings at this venue and highly recommend it for couples wanting to have a private waterfront wedding. The gazebo is perfect for a ceremony with photo opportunities at the beautiful garden spots along the waterside and the indoor reception is perfect for a small or larger gathering!

I highly recommend Davis Islands Garden Club! The main selling points were the beautiful plants and trees, the waterfront, no vendor restrictions, and the fact that it’s a blank slate! We were able to bring in all of our own vendors and decor, which allowed us to transform the space into exactly what we wanted. :) Our guests raved about the venue. It was absolutely perfect. Amber was responsive throughout the planning process and the rental price is very fair! It’s a great value.

Beautiful place with stunning views overlooking the water. Plenty of outdoor seating and well maintained grounds. The bathrooms needed a little bit of maintenance but overall a wonderful place for any small- medium function

We looked at several venues before we looked at DIG Club and decided this was the perfect place for our wedding. We wanted a place that felt like it spoke to who we are as a couple, wasn't too formal but still very pretty, and would help enhance our theme and colors instead of dictate those. Day of the wedding, I was able to get inside to drop off everything for my coordinator and I thought I was supposed to get the keys at 10AM but no one ever showed up. I didn't worry too much since I was able to drop everything off anyways. We chose to rent the garden chairs, which was a much better price than if we had gone to an outside vendor to rent chairs, and the cushions for the patio. I completely recommend renting the cushions if you plan to do your dance floor on the patio. We chose to do our ceremony under the first tree branch when you walk through to the back and it was perfect! I didn't want to do what everyone else did and use the gazebo. Initially, I wanted to do the reception inside but my husband really wanted to do it outdoors and it was the best decision! We had our tables set up on the left side of the lawn and using the beauty of the outdoor space meant we only needed to decorate our tables and added cafe lighting above the lawn. We got so many compliments on how beautiful our wedding was, everything was perfect!

Great place for a wedding, reception and photos. Right on the water with beautiful homes in the background. For the price, can’t beat it! You can also host networking events too.

Davis Island Garden Club was my dream venue. It’s so beautiful there and right on the water, with views of downtown Tampa. We had the ceremony outside, along with dancing under the patio and we ate inside, so the space is both indoor and outdoor. The venue is a blank canvas but also very pretty, so you can make you vision come true there, but a lot doesn’t need to be done because the outside speaks for itself. I liked that I got to bring my own vendors in but also can use, and not made to use, their preferred vendors. Amber is also amazing! She was so great to work with and super responsive and a huge help with all of my questions. I couldn’t recommend this venue more as it’s beautiful and the staff is great. It was a great experience and would do it all over again if I could!

Had a wonderful time, even though the weather was very cold. Incredible little spots around to look and enjoy. Whimsical vibes and butterflies, with a touch of sheer class and crystals. Love the energy and the nearby areas for parking. Love how quaint it looks until you enter the complete terrace and building. Perfect location to have a wedding or elopement and getting married. Love the hanging lights off the tall standing variety of Florida trees. I loved the gazebo and the available yard games near the water. Can't get more "Tampa Bay" than this venue. So lovely, so fun!

We held our reception at the Davis Island Garden Club on a beautiful February night, and it couldn't have been more perfect! The garden club is a great option with both indoor and outdoor spaces, and a waterfront view that requires very little additions in regards to decor. Highly recommend this event space, we had a perfect wedding day there!

Highly recommend the Davis Islands Garden Club, have hosted two events recently and had the BEST experience. The venue is absolutely stunning, the garden is beautiful and impeccable. Amber was a pleasure to work with; responsive, helpful, and very professional. Loved working with her and will definitely use the DIGC as a venue in the future, it's such a gem!

Davis Island Garden Club is such a pretty venue with the combo of the water and gardens. I knew it was my wedding venue right away. Thankfully for planning a wedding by myself and instilling the help of family and friends, it turned out lovely, besides a few things. Pros: They provide tables as part of the rental which was much appreciated!, I selected a weekday (Labor Day) and was able to get a more affordable rate. Cons: The service provided by Amber Beaty was inconsistent. Correspondence was good at times but then sometimes would take a while. As I got closer to the wedding date communication was fine, however, I did not receive the final coordination email from her, which was super important, luckily I reached out and she resent. She did accommodate us on a special request to park a vehicle at the venue with decor overnight , that would've saved us a tiny bit of time the next day. On the day of the wedding, I was expecting to be met by her to be able to ask any questions, instead, she sent a text stating that everything we requested was ready, etc. I was a tad bit disappointed as I am particular and I wanted to be able to ask any questions that may have come up. Throughout the event set up process she was somewhat hard to reach, did reply to some texts but a quick pick up of the phone when you are on a timeline is my preference and would've been nice. My biggest gripe about the day is that when I arrived right before the ceremony the air was set at 74 degrees, our wedding cake was melting (bad), and I feel as this was a contributing factor. I don't even keep my house at 74 let alone a building in summer that is going to be filled with people. There is no way for the couples/guests onsite to adjust the air.She had to do it (had some type of virtual control). The biggest damper was finding out a month later that we would not be receiving our 700 deposit back. We were upset about this for sure after taking measures to ensure we were staying in a specific range. She didn't even have the decency to let us know until I inquired about where the deposit was via email. Additionally I was super adamant about following all of the clean up rules and procedures thinking that I was getting a deposit back, HA!. The security person walked the property before I left the night of and told me everything was great! Come to find out my friend (who acted as my Day of coordinator) was responsible for purchasing and using a few strips of 3M tape to execute the gazebo design that I wanted. I had no clue as I left the venue after a couple house to get ready. I understood that this was a breach of the agreement however, the "damage" to the gazebo was not worth 700. I was told she would discuss with the "board" and get back to me. A month later I have heard nothing. To me its not even about the money, its about the principal. We utilized family and friends to help and they were unaware of that one specific guideline of using no tape, which you think there would be some understanding on the venues part. Keeping the whole deposit is definitely a way to get over on people, the appropriate thing to do would be to get a quote to fix the damages and then take that and return the rest of the deposit. Needless to say this put a whole damper on the happiness we were feeling from the experience.

Excellent venue! Amber did a great job! Very nicely remodeled interior reception area and an option with a beautiful covered patio! It poured down raining right as our 1-4-19 wedding outdoor ceremony was supposed to take place. The covered patio made a perfect setting as a plan B for the ceremony that was intimate and peaceful and we positioned chairs so guests still faced the water! I can’t believe I’m typing this, but looking back it was one of the best things that could’ve happened! Everyone commented how intimate it felt under the patio. Couples don’t fret about rain at this venue! Just have the plan B set up in advance just in case and less stress on your big day! I’ll update my post with pics once I receive back from photographer of setup on patio. Also we had close to 150 guests that comfortably sat in patio, and inside no one was standing. It can be done!

We had my daughters wedding here on Sat. We could not have asked for a more beautiful setting. We also loved how big the inside was as well. Amber did an amazing job of helping us navigate prior and during the event. We would highly recommend this venue.

Beautiful garden theme inspired wedding with a fantastic water view as a back drop outside that can be seen if you have your ceremony outdoors as well as your cocktail hour. Great prime location. Would definitely recommend!!!

This is an awesome location and my experience here was phenomenal with the assistance of Amber. Amber was very helpful with suggestions for vendors and accommodating our schedule. We had our wedding ceremony outside and the reception indoors. We received very positive feedback from our guests regarding the venue. We had a blast at our wedding and would definitely recommend this venue to anyone looking to have a beautiful DIY ceremony/reception.

Very nice location right at the bay water. Went here for a wedding and it was set up very nice. The grounds are clean and no ant hills were visible. The indoor area seems to be kept up well as well. The wedding took place on a Sunday and it was very quiet, even on the water way.

After months of venue searching and visiting all over town my husband and I were so happy when we found the DIGC! It was exactly what we wanted - and outdoor ceremony with an indoor reception! Our wedding was in March and the weather was perfect. We had visited the venue a bunch of times prior to the wedding because we were so in love with it! The ONLY complaint that I have is that on the wedding day there were a few snakes wandering around during the ceremony that had my bridesmaids freaked out (funny - after all the times my hubby and I had been to the venue we had never not once seen a snake out there).. Besides that I think it is the most beautiful wedding venue in town! Michelle was also amazing and helped us out a lot! LOVE this place and would recommend it to everyone! <3

I recommend to anyone whose doing wedding or events in this location breathe taking view of Downtown Tampa and perfect setting of the sunset and the boat passes by while during yr event. Security is very good and helpful during the time beening of the ceremony and reception.If your planning to do it here at Davis Garden island talk to Amber,she and her bookkeeping team are the best. They're flexibility on anytime of the week 👍😊

Davis Island Garden Club is a dream venue for a wedding - the gardens are a stunning backdrop for a laid back, elegant Florida wedding. The covered patio and garden front views were perfect for our daytime garden-style reception. They also provide tables and chairs as part of the rental which was much appreciated! A major area where the Garden Club can improve is the service provided by the event manager, Amber Beatty. While she kept a cheerful tone throughout our correspondence, she turned down many of our requests (early access to the venue while it wasn't being used, a discount on overpriced drapery rentals that she was profiting on - sketchy!!!, use of lanterns during on our send off that many other venues use) with arguments that didn't make logical sense, which was frustrating. She always needed to get the last word in and seemed to enjoy saying no. While our wedding turned out wonderfully, Amber detracted from the planning experience as we always felt we need to calculate our interactions with her. I hope that the Garden Club will address this and offer customer service more in line with their charming offerings with future brides.

Attended an outdoor wedding and indoor reception at this venue in the beginning of September. It was pretty humid outside at 3pm. Other than that, everything was great! The staff were on top of things, the air conditioning worked, and the atmosphere and decorations were beautiful.

Came here for my BFF's wedding. Beautiful, cozy venue with enough room outside for the kids to run around. Though it was 1,000 degrees outside, the inside stayed nice and cool despite the large amount of people. Great experience.

Even though we ultimately did not have our wedding/reception at Davis Islands Garden Club, I highly recommend this venue and their staff. Barbie Blank and Amber Beaty were extremely accommodating and willing to refund our deposit when we couldn't make our date, even though it wasn't rebooked yet, due to family logistics and obligations. Any organization and people willing to put their clients above themselves will always be #1 in my book. Great location, great rates and a great canvas to create your perfect event!

Beautiful venue for a large party. Attended party for 200, catered by CBK Catering & Events. Plenty of air conditioned space, restrooms immaculate. Sound system fierce! Outside....bistro tables & buffet set up in the shade! Nice touch by Catering staff. Plenty of sunshine available. Bonus of the day: On the WATER...DIRECTLY! Saw a DOLPHIN playing!! So cool..highly recommend venue & CBK Catering & Events.
