the Buddha's teachings are indeed golden. if you study the teachings of the Buddha, you will gain insight into the true nature of God. it will be the greatest turning point in your life. there is no doubt. but please be aware that human nature is the same everywhere. even the person who introduced me to Nichiren Buddhism said this. you yourself will change tremendously, however the world will seemingly stay the same. if you become a member of this organization, people are likely to hurt you. both from within and outside. i have found that, just like any club or church or bar. you are either a step up for people or you are not. and clubs are for social climbing. so are organized religions. its not for everybody, regardless of what sgi members say. just like the christian church that i was brought up in, there is a gossip culture here, and when i found out about it, it broke my heart. it took me a very long painful time to decide what to do about it, but i finally decided to leave, and i am still disheartened that i ever tried to fit in here. i hope that anyone reading this can understand that superior teachings dont always inspire people to a higher essence. try this out. i dont think that theres any harm in it ultimatly, but just like the person who introduced me to the teachings of Nichiren, people are people. and i have concluded that i would just rather be good and trusting to my household, my family. people who don't know you and dont really want to will ultimatly just pass hasty judgement on you. god bless all of you.

How can I express my feelings without going overboard? Why did it take my soul so damn long to find Nichirin Buddhism when I have been praying for World Peace for decades? Not a lie, I'm elderly! I have believed in the good in all people just as long! Been on a similar path running parallel with this belief. Unfortunately my unhealthy choices had a way of defeating me so much I was beginning to give up. Something inside me was lying down, surrendering. This world was changing too much for me. Time for me to let go, just carry my for fetched beliefs in my heart to my grave. Then I found this center and it began to nurture my old feelings. Hope and belief, love and peace, but not the Disney fake kind the real thing! Magic is happening! In my old age! I couldn't be happier! I honestly want this for everyone, the world! Nam Myoho Renge Kyo! Thank you, I have my life back!
