Teachers seem great. Staff is wonderful. Students are polite. Seems like the building could use updating. Mostly clean. Have seen homeless people walk in and out of changing rooms to ask for money.. Work out machines are kept up. Just could be slightly cleaner (especially pools). And security needs tightening up.

The facilities are beautiful! Great staff and lots of options for activities, especially for families with kids. The pool is so much fun, complete with a water slide, basketball hoops (in an area of the pool!), and decorated to look like a jungle. The staff is wonderful and friendly, especially Keshia who did an amazing job showing us around & giving information on all the different areas and activities offered.

This y is so nice my son had to go to the bathroom an they let my 6 year old son go to the bathroom the gas station an the boost mobile told my son no he couldn’t use the bathroom YMCA you guys are awesome just wanted to let u guys no how much I appreciate u!!!!! The pool water was cool as ever the Jacuzzi water was warm the building needs up dates the women's locker room was not comfortable at all i gt scared😂 the floor was breaking up the showers was extra small to many locked doors for my liking but i love the basketball courts in pool that was exciting!! I just ct let go of how cold my joints was i started hurting from the cold😂😂 true story!!!

Excellent staff very friendly especially Tamara, Bianca and supervisor Raven. Outside of the towels not always being readily available no complaints. Best steam room in the Milwaukee Y system.

Peeps are friendly facility is c'lean great water aerobics pool is clean and clear. Exercise staff are very helpful.the trainers wiill set up a program regiment. If u go and don't know an one u will by the time u leave.

Best Y by far... Great staff, Customer service... beautiful pool with attentive life guards, weight room has the tools for any fitness level, basketball gym a staple of excellence nice court, great competition all ages and actual pro, college, and high school level former players,coaches and prospects fill the gym. A Community treasure.

I've been having good times at this Y, either by myself or with my family. My kids actually enjoy playing in the pool and they are well supervised by lifeguards on duty. Thank you to all the staff working at North side YMCA.

I love this YMCA! It's convenient to get to from the Riverwest/East Side, there is never an issue with parking, it's clean, I've never had to wait for a machine, and the classes are fun. Plus there is both a sauna and a steam room in the women's locker room. Their family rate is also very affordable if you decide to just use this YMCA ($45). My only complaint is that on my last visit, the stuff to clean the exercise equipment needed to be refilled, but that's only happened that one time. All in all, it's a great gym and I'm so glad it's opened, rather than having to drive at least 15 minutes out of the city of Milwaukee, or fight for parking at the downtown YMCA. It's just so convenient! Added bonus: the new Juice Bar is only four blocks away from here :)

I really like it. When I first walked into the YMCA I had walked in there with my daughter. We wanted to sign up for the swimming classes. Later we wanted to see the physical education room. It seemed to be ok, but to me the best was the swimming classes. Imagine someone who hasn't been in a pool in years or had an instructor to teach me the things that I needed to learn to help me be able to walk right not using a walker. Well once in a while I do but not much. I use a hemi walker now and it shows me through the help of my teacher I can do it. Thank you so very much.

I love working out at the Y. I go there with a goal to get my sweat on and the staff is always supportive of that. I would encourage anyone and everyone who is focused on their health to give the Northside YMCA a try.

I love this YMCA because it has everything I like the pool, steam room , hot tub overall its a great facility . Mens steam room has been down for 2 months now and they working on it but not fast enough but overall great place

Joined to play racquetball, but there is only one sub standard cour. Mist of the time there court reservation system goes down and you can't book the court. So I had to wait or drive back.

Set up is more for kids and teenagers. Downtown is more for adults. But still a great pool , work out center, and staff.
