Whenever I go grocery shopping I stop in mostly to look around. I have found a number of gems here while doing so. Photoshop, phones, calculator, memo pads, and most recently, an unused 75 dollar coffee maker for $7. Even if I find nothing, looking is free entertainment. It's an enjoyable time and, occasionally, I take something home I can use.

Smaller example of the National thrift store chain. Shelves and racks are well organized, and well stocked. Clothing can be hit and miss, but that's true for any of their locations. The store is busy every time I visit, so aisles can be hard to navigate. Check it out!

Sometimes all u need is help. I'm not computer savvy. the time and availability to learn those skills have never been afforded me. Which is why I am glad I met Brett Havlek. Currently unemployed but looking. he helped me rebuild my resume, gave me a ton of leads and a sympathetic ear to listen. I'm not the only one who is looking for employment but in these rough times it's nice to have a place and the help of someone who treats u like a person without making feel deficient in some way.

This store by far is the best Goodwill I have frequented so far. Huge selection of everything. Store was organized and cleaned very well. I found sum great finds. I was impressed by the staff. How helpful and attentive they were. Check out was a breeze. My only complaint was that I had to purchase a bag, too leave the store. Other then that was experience was awesome. Good job, Goodwill.

I usually find one thing at one of the Goodwill's that I don't want to do without. This time it was a brand new Harley Davidson canvas jacket. I checked out the retail price of it and for $30, bought myself a$200 jacket. Can't go wrong. The best part is using a credit or debit card with NO minimum spend amount. A habit that some stores have which makes it hard on customers who only want to spend a few bucks

Since I had to pick up a few groceries at the Pick-N-Save around the corner, I thought I stop by the Goodwill store to see if I could find a pair of shoes, but there wasn't much of a selection and the shoes that were available were less then desirable, and when I say less then desirable I am being quite generous. The store did have many other nice little items, I just wouldn't recommend them to anyone looking to buy clothing or footwear, as the selection is quite limited, and the footwear that is available is less than desirable.

I enjoy the set up yet hate some of the cashier's customer service. Why do I always have to ask for glass vases to be wrapped? Common sense isn't common with two separate cashier's. Otherwise great selection.

I support goodwills mission so I shop here every so often, but I will say that the prices for their furniture pieces are outrageous. They are charging brand new in box prices for very used pieces. Just something they should rethink. Also I donate here alot and it's kind of nutty the prices they charge for some of the stuff they resell. However the staff is friendly and it appears they try hard to keep up with this location.

Well organized items, categorized, with easy to see signage. Wednesdays are senior days if you are registered with them. 15% off. But when I went today a number of their women's long sleeve tops and sweaters were mixed up, size- wise. A petite xl in the large section, a couple more smalls and mediums in the 2 large racks I checked. On the other hand I was tempted by a cashmere sweater for about $6. But I have 1 alteady.lol

A+ facility - check out the Goodwill Workforce Development Center if you're looking for a job or just want to shine up your resumé. I've never been to the Job Center at UMOS but I've heard not great things. The Goodwill Center is clean and QUIET (if noise from the retail store invades the Job Center, the doors are closed). When I've been, there's never more than 5-7 people there, they have about 25ish computers. Even if you have a computer at home, the help from the Goodwill employees is still worth the trip. They happily answer questions, will review your resumé and give honest feedback/suggestions. Last time I was there the woman at the desk brought me a printout to a job she thought I might be interested in. This place is invaluable to a prosperous community, can't say enough good about it. I only wish there were MORE locations.
