Best family gym ever! First they have many family events such as Thanksgiving, Halloween and Christmas. The pool has an adult slide, kids slide and much much more. Bigger kids can exercise in the gym equipment area with adult supervision. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and make you feel like family. I highly recommend YMCA especially if you have kids. There are many sports, education and other learning programs for adults and kids. Don't forget Parents Night Out!

Loved it the lifeguards are awesome especially one named aidan. Definitely better than centennial which isn’t good. The slide rips your pants though.

We have visited this YMCA throughout the last 15 years and the facilities have always been very well kept. The restrooms have always been clean and well stocked. The staff is friendly and remember us even when there is a gap in visits. Keep up the great work! Will be back for more competitions!

I highly recommend the ymca cuz i went here as a crusader this year and it was so fun i miss the councilors so much like Kami, Trevon, Jersey EVERYONEEEE! made a lot of friends there too, next year ima go again n be an LIT. Overall this is amazing 🤷‍♀️ -kai

Seems to be more basketball oriented than anything. I really like that they have a sauna and steam room but one of the two indoor basketball courts should really be an indoor pool like they have in the YMCA to the north. As it is the pool is only open from May thru August. That's 8 months of no pool in Vegas. No Bueno

Biggest YMCA I’ve ever been to. Clean with lots of amenities and friendly staff. Has even steam room, sauna, and a rock climbing wall. Couldn’t figure out how to get warm water from the shower but eh. It’s in the middle of the desert I can handle a cold shower

Our experiences at this particular YMCA have been satisfactory; my kids love the instructors and the summer camp is great. We also enjoy parents night out occasionally. My daughter attended the pre-k program with some of the best, loving, and patient teachers I have ever encountered. However, I had an extremely negative experience recently that supersedes any positive interaction I’ve had. I had been receiving phone calls from an 800 number for weeks, and today, while at work, I happened to get one of these calls. I picked up, and was informed that I owed money to the YMCA of Southern Nevada. I have never had payment issues prior to this, so I was confused as to why I was being contacted, let alone on my job. I logged into my dasko account to see that I had a $40 balance from a card not being updated post expiration. The YMCA could have simply emailed me at time of incident, stating the issue, and I would have gladly paid, just as I had done for the 30 previous on time payments on my membership. This has left a sour taste in my mouth, which is why I will be cancelling my membership. I was called by a creditor on my job, for a bill I had always paid on time. Unbelievable. I had plans to rent the pool space for my children’s school, and I am very happy that I didn’t sign contract yet.

This is about a year old review but I think the compliments are valid and the critiques if anything will have gotten worse. The staff is A+, just dedicated and good people who are alot more patient than I am, which is impressive as I coach delininquents. Just good people who deserve more credit. The facility surprised me as it has really grown since my youth in the early 90s. But the facility is left disheveled. This isn't a knock on the staff but the patrons. Weights are left all over, items are in the wrong place or stolen. Getting back to patrons it has really changed alot since my youth. I saw several near fights in my only two visits and children running around wildly ignoring staff. It turned me off enough to enough to not volunteer my time. It is a nice space with great staff. The atmosphere and guests were just to hostile and disorganized for my own patronage

So far I've had a pleasant experience with this location and it's staff. My child is in a program here and it has been beneficial to him thus far. Staff has done a great job with easing my concerns about cleanliness management especially for the youth.

The staff is amazing...Very clean ...They offer so many classes for Seniors , Young adults as well as children. This is our home away from home . All the instructors will work you out and get you to your goals .Absolutely love Ms Barbara,Ms Telli,Ms Sheila...Also my kids have gone to the YMCA summer camp and love it ! I like this place working out was great. However, made plans to spend the day at the pool with my family. When I showed up we were told they wanted to close early and we only had 30 minutes to swim. They closed the pool at 3 instead of 4. Another mother was upset who showed up 5 minutes before they wanted to close. Posted hours are until 4. No notice or anthing they just closed the pool. When the pool closed we felt rushed it was uncomfortable. I did not feel valued.

All of the YMCA facilities in Las Vegas are great. This is one of my favorites because it's not as busy as the more popular locations like the Centennial Hills YMCA. Friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful staff. Tons of programs for kids like Basketball & Soccer Academy, Gymnastics, Dance, and many more. They also have a great summer camp program for kids up to age 15! Very convenient for working parents during the summer, and it's more affordable than paying for a babysitter. Now that I'm posting this after school has already started, that tidbit is pretty useless. Keep that in mind for summer 2020, parents. This location has 3 basketball courts but make sure you call ahead to check if there are open courts because they are rented out a lot of the time. This location also offers a lot of group exercise classes, which are included in your membership! Body Pump, Spin, Body Combat, Aqua Fit (during pool season), Zumba Toning, Zumba Fitness, Yoga, Tai Chi, Hot Hula, Chair Yoga, Pickleball, Young at Heart, Silver Sneakers Classic, CX Worx, Next Step, Barre, Strong 30, & Bolly X. It's a great place to be.

This is a very well kept facility with more amenities than your usual YMCA. The front desk staff has always been very helpful, even as an out-of-town visitor. It is well-equipped with weight lifting equipment, cardio machines, gymnasiums, rock climbing walls, children play areas and outdoor pools. One of the best in the country for sure.

Love this place. I only come for the basketball courts and they stay in great shape with the flooring and maintenance as well. If you in the area and looking for a great all around workout, this is the place for you.

I have 4 kids , 2 two year olds that go to the daycare and 2 older autistic children that attend Y kids and the staff is very nice and attentive to them and they have a blast ! Also i get to get my work out on while everyone has fun. Great place for familys!

This year is my first experience at a Gym I can tell you I love it ,and everyone has made me feel welcome ,it’s made me want to go more often and and work out with the girls in the classes the instructors are top notch and very understanding and have no problem teaching the ones who are just learning I’m so glad I did this I’ve not been there for more than a week getting over a cold can’t wait to go back !Love Love the instructors and Love Heinrich YMCA ❤️

I've been a member of the Y for about a month now and love the vibe vs typical gyms. Friendly staff, friendly patrons and nice equipment at all locations across the valley. The extra amenities are also wonderful perks, their sauna and steam room at the Bill and Lillie Heinrich YMCA are clean and well taken care of. Men and women's locker rooms both have their own saunas so you often have the whole thing to your self. Will keep coming back for years to come!
