I was new here I've only been here less than a week and salvation army they were closed on Friday I walked away but they still gave me some food and they were nice I didn't read the sign that was posted to the lady in uniform thank you and God bless you for both the water and the food hopefully I'll see you maybe tomorrow that would be Tuesday I will give you another post you save people's lives God bless you 😇

I recently filed bankruptcy due to medical bills likely caused by mold in my apartment complex that my slum landlord, who also owns the China buffet, refuses to fix. Because of this and other factors, I fell behind on my rent. Salvation Army of Cheyenne paid my landlord $400 so I could stay off the streets, even though he absolutely doesn't deserve a penny. He insisted on being there to receive the voucher and he continually asked questions about "his" money. These people are genuinely caring. They offer food bags and lunches with very little proof of residence or income. They're incredibly easy to get along with. I'd be sleeping in my car if it weren't for them.

Working for The Salvation Army I have seen what really goes on there and it is a very good organization. The employees and volunteers are all very compassionate and helpful. Helping those in need is the main drive.
