They did the job well. The office staff is blunt and unwilling to pass on a message or even give an estimate of morning or afternoon arrival. Do not respond to email and seem pretty busy — got warranty work done for hvac breakdown on a Friday night during a heatwave and couldn’t come until Tuesday but no issues since the repair a month ago. So good skill set not awesome customer relations and maybe need more staff to respond quicker during extreme weather but solid work A+. Rapport C-

If I could give 6 stars I would. I have used Long Lane several times for different services. Each time, their employees have been top notch. We had a hot water heater and dishwasher delivered, installed and old appliances removed yesterday. The guys were friendly, knowledgeable, hard-working and all around great guys. I will definitely use Long Lane again and highly recommend.

I would highly recommend Long Lane Home Services for anyone who needs a contractor to come out and install appliances into your home. The receptionists were friendly over the phone and scheduled us within 2 days of calling. Our contractor was Mario, and he was on time, very friendly, and did an excellent job installing our new dishwasher. He cleaned everything up beautifully and took our old dishwasher as well. Bill the service technician just repaired my dryer and did a fantastic job. Bill diagnosed the problem in about 5 minutes. He had to order parts and called me with the total cost of the repair just like he said he would. He arrived exactly when he said he would. He fixed my dryer in about 15 minutes. Bill is fast and reliable . Bill will even give you his professional opinion weather it is worth it to repair your appliance. Bill is experienced and he can tell you the history of a make and model and weather you should repair or replace your appliance. The owner of Long Lane is also Bill. My mother, Carmella Lerro has been a customer of Long Lane for probably over 30 years. Bill was always good to my mom. I will never forget that. Bill has continually provided great service over many years as far back when Long Lane was located in Delaware County. I can trust Long Lane. Long Lane came out to repair a botched job done by another HVAC company. They were very professional, friendly, knowledgeable, most important- on time. Bill, Mario, Marco, and Barry were great to work with and I would highly recommend Long Lane. We really appreciated the communication about when our repairs would take place and that their trucks were loaded with all equipment and tools to get the job done. Don't hesitate or try to bargain shop for HVAC/Plumbing repairs- you definitely get what you pay for and its better to have the job done on time and correctly. If I could give Bill and his team more stars, I would. Like other people leaving reviews our home warranty company sent out the worst hvac tech to install a new ac system. Totally botched the entire job. After that they gave us the run around until Bill himself got on a 3 way call with the warranty company and got everything in order. A few days later they showed up and fixed the new system the previous company messed up. This company truly cares and we will definitely request them again in the future!

The warranty company finally sent a competent company - Long Lane - to fix our dryer. Long Lane came out, diagnosed the problem, vacuumed the dust out of the dryer bottom, and ordered 2 parts. Within a week the parts arrived and they scheduled a new appointment, then John quickly repaired/tested the dryer. They were polite, competent, and knowledgeable. It is true that they only give you a date, rather than a time/date, but they do call 30 minutes before arriving. I am fortunate that I can work from home certain days, so it was not a problem for me. I would recommend Long Lane. They were knowledgeable, professional, and quick. We waited almost 2 months with the first repair guy (NOT Long Lane), when we found out that the first guy quit working for the warranty company leaving us to start all over again. I blame the warranty company on this one for never following up, but at least they sent a knowledgeable company to do the job right! Also, as a homeowner you have to follow-up on your own rather than wait for the home warranty to check with the service company. Don't think I will be using the warranty company again, when I can just call Long Lane directly.

Long lane did a phenomenal job installing our ac units. The workers came out on a Sunday because we had been waiting on the warranty company for 4 weeks. Bill at long lane was very communicative through the whole process and made phone calls on our behalf to get the ball moving. Once the parts were all in he sent 3 guys out on a Sunday to get the job done. They were professional, yet personable and they did meticulous work. They left the work areas cleaner than when they started and we pleasant to be around. I felt 100% comfortable having them in my home and will use them for any future needs. We had two different technicians come out out today to fix a toilet and one for our dryer. We are two girls who live alone and we aren't very "handy". The first guy came to do our toilet in a very timely fashion and was polite and professional. He explained the problem, told us how much it would be and got to work. We were very happy. Not even 10 minutes later John Fadgen came for the dryer. He was so great! Nice, professional and fast. He couldn't have provided better service. He said our dryer was done and wasn't worth fixing because it would cost the same as getting a new one. He said to come down to the store and he could order things we wanted if we didn't see them there. We are very very happy with our experience and they will be our go to for home repairs and appliances! Thank you Long Lane!

Long Lane converted our house from oil to natural gas . I could not be more pleased with my experience after dealing with them. They have since began servicing my parents and brothers houses. The job was completed in a timely manner, the crew was very professional, and cleaned up before they left. I think the best part is that they have not had to return. This job was completed right the first time, and i jave not had any issues. I guess the very low heating bill is a plus, too! Highly recommended! Only if you want the job done right the first time though.

Talk about a great experience! Look, I’ve had more than one contractor come out and service my ancient house. Long Lane plumbing is seriously the most professional, most thorough and fairest contractor I have ever had the pleasure to work with. The prices are more than fair, dare I say excellent. And the work? TOP NOTCH! Mario and Eric came out and redid basically half our house in less than half a day. I mean those two get after it! They didn’t stop working until the job was done, and then made sure they walked around and explained what was done and why it was done. Then came a thorough round of testing, all before even mentioning the payment. And I have had Mario a few times to my home now. Each time the guy knocked it out of the park. Punctual, professional and a pleasure to deal with, I would let Mario and Eric come back anytime. I feel lucky they were the techs I was assigned. It is rare to find such an honest and trustworthy outfit these days. If I have anything go wrong in my house, I know who I’m calling. I’ve never dealt with a company that was such a pleasure and yet also very good at what they do. Long Lane Plumbing is the real deal! I cannot recommend them enough.

Guy came out for my home warranty. Electrician told me I needed a new water heater and he was able to fix the current one. Saved me tons of money and was really good dude. These guys were awesome. I have a home warrranty and was assigned another contractor for my HVAC issue. Never had a response from this other contractor after 4 days of calling and texting so I requested a new contractor. Long Lane Home Services was assigned to my issue. I called and was on their schedule immediately for the same day...thanks to Mario. Three hours later John was the technician that came to the house in Covid protective gear. He was curtious and went right to work. He diagnosed the problem and had the AC up and running within 1/2 hour of arriving. i wish all experiences with a contractor could work out this way. I have been in my home for a little over a year. It's about 22 years old and so I maintain a home warranty. Of all the service companies that have come out to diagnose and repair or replace Long Lane has done a great job. This last issue I even had to have someone else wait for them while I was working. I'm not big on not being here when having something done but John was professional, respectful, and got my heater going right away. He even answered questions post repair when needed. Recommend strongly.

We have a home warranty and our clothes washer wasn't working properly. The warranty company sent Long Lane out to diagnose the problem. John was the service tech, he was very polite, clean, and knowledgeable. John made sure that the warranty company understood that any repair made would be a temporary solution. Thanks to his efforts our washer was replaced with a brand new unit. He could've easily done the repair to earn more money, but he made sure we were happy and wouldn't need to inevitably call back when the washer failed again.

These people are best and they know what they are doing !!!! Mario replaced my evaporator coil as the previous technician from other company had screwed my AC, He had replaced evaporator coil with the wrong one (i guess he did not have any idea what he was doing as he had replaced 'A' shaped coil with a 'N' shaped coil) Mario did a great job, he came replaced the coil with the right one and also made a tin box to fit on top of the coil. He build that tin box from scratch and the finish was like it was machine manufactured. He is very skilled and knowledgeable person. Ask for him if you have issues with your AC, he is genuine and has a good knowledge of it.

John and his partner (can't remember his name!) came over to confirm/ fix a dryer issue that was getting resolved via warranty. We just a bought a house with several issues, the HVAC included. The team noticed that the air was not working properly - or at all - and offered to help. Charging us a minimal fee - seemed out of kindness - they fixed not one, but both HVAC systems. Seems the previous owner hid some issues from us. We had been told by Horizon earlier in the day that one of the systems needed to be replaced and would cost nearly $10,000. According to John, that was not the case and he had it up and running in 20 minutes. Both guys were polite and professional. Had to call these guys again for an additional issue and we hope to have the same team back! You're in good hands with Long Lane.

Contacted American Home Shield on Wednesday 7/22/20 for my whole house AC which stopped working. They assigned Hull's HVAC for the repair. Three days later and I wasn't scheduled by Hull's. On Friday 7/24/20, Hull's said they could schedule me for the following Thursday, 7/30/20. I contacted AHS and they assigned Long Lane Home Service. This was late Friday. I got a call in about 1/2 hour and the scheduled me on Monday. Mario called Monday at 9:30 and said he would arrive in about 30 minutes. He arrived in 30 minutes mask on. Asked about the problem and went to work. Diagnosed the situation, retrived the failed part from the truck and replaced it in no time. He also checked the gas pressures and adjusted. Also checked my filters and told me to replace them at my earliest convience. Mario was professional, knowledgeable and a great technician. What a pleasure to have Long Lane and Mario solve my problem. If you need appliance or HVAC service, I highly recommend Long Lane and Mario. Best service I've ever had in my 75 years.

I have used these guys twice and have been very happy with the results. First, I was having issues with my central air conditioning. I contacted one company who literally told me they had no idea what the issue was. I then contacted Campbell Comfort who told me that I needed an entirely new system (even though my system was brand new). I contacted Long Lane who figured out the problem in about 15 minutes and it was up and running immediately. So, needless to say I contacted them when my heater was not functioning and again it was fixed expediently and was very reasonably priced and courteous service. Thank you Long Lane!

My 24” Liebherr refrigerator stopped working in June due to a sealed system failure. Liebherr’s Warranty & Service Dept sent Long Lane Home Appliance Services to address the issue. Chris & his crew came on a Saturday morning to install the new refrigerator & remove the old one. Organized & efficient, they had the old fridge packed up & gone in a quick 15 mins. Then, they carefully brought in the new unit, reversed the door hinges so it would open correctly, ensured it was level & carried all the packing cardboard away. They did a great job! Also, loved that they showed up wearing masks during this pandemic & were extra careful to avoid unnecessary contact, just in case. Can’t thank them enough & will definitely use them again!

I called to get a quote and an appointment for an attic fan. The woman on the phone was doing her best even though I could tell they were ringing off the hook. They called about 15 minutes before my appointment which was convenient as, even though I work from home currently, my hearing is terrible and I miss the door often. When John came out he was great. Made sure to wear a mask to care for Covid concerns, answered all my questions, and was courteous throughout. No issues with using a credit card despite some of the other reviews on here. I will absolutely use them for my future electrical and HVAC needs.

We bought a townhouse with appliance insurance & the washer quit. We were fortunate that the first company on the list never returned our call. #2 was Long Lane, Services, and we told the insurance company they should be at the top of the list. We had Jason out the next day & couldn't be happier, even if he couldn't repair the old washer. He is courteous, looks you in the eye when speaking to you, efficient, tidy, and knowledgeable. We have a tight space, so had to do some research on washers, but Long Lane ordered our set, and sent Jason out with Mario to do the gas line installation for our new drier. Unfortunately, the drier had been damaged by the delivery service (NOT LONG LANE), but Long Lane raised a little @#$% with the company & we got our replacement drier in record time. Mario is also courteous, looks you in the eye, efficient, tidy, & knowledgeable. We met Jim when the new drier arrived & he is efficient, hard working, & fun, too. We liked them so much, we decided to use Long Lane for an HVAC problem & Marco came out one day to do the estimate & the day after with Tim (I believe; he was the quiet type) to do the work. Once again, knowledgeable, courteous, tidy work, efficient & thorough. B has called the office and spoken with Bill about his crew & learned that most have been there for many, many years; more like a family. We look forward to using them for all of our appliance, heating, & plumbing work for many, many years to come. =) April 23: we have used Long Lane twice more, and couldn't be happier. Jason came out when one of the old couplings failed on our gas line & set that right. The next week B had a gas conversion for our fireplace installed by Jason & Jim. It's a challenge to be clean on a job like that, and they did so much better than we had imagined. Once again; cheerful, efficient workmanship, professional behavior, and an excellent job. I have two properties and have used Long Lane services on several occasions. Each time, they have been professional when attending to my service request. My most recent problem was at my rental property and the heater was not working properly. I was told a part had to be ordered that may take a couple of days by the technician on site. I telephone the office and explained that this would mean putting my tenant in a hotel for several days. They ordered the part and requested overnight shipping and the part was received and installed the next day. I really appreciate the extra effort they took in making sure my tenant could return home and not have to spend several nights in a hotel.

As much as I hate the idea of having a plumbing issue, like our sump pump going out and flooding our basement, there is no other company i'd rather use! They were kind, courteous, and very professional. They were very quick to address our needs, and even had a brand new sump pump ready to install in the even ours was unrepairable. Start to finish they completed the job in under an hour and my basement is well on its way to being dried out! There is not a single other company I would recommend and they officially have my business for life!

Called Longlane because my heater stopped working last winter, so with this winter approaching I needed to get it fixed. We had a garbage disposal problem and this was the second company our HSA warranty put us in contact with. The first one was HORRIBLE with communication and after 2 business days we still didn't have a service window. I called HSA about 3PM and they gave me Long Lane's contact information. Long Lane called within 30 minutes and gave us a service window for the next day (10-6, but it was something). The next day we got a call at 1230 that they were one their way. An hour later (the company was located 45 min away), they showed up. The garbage disposal was evaluated, replaced, tested, and they were gone within an hour. This is the second time I've used this company through my warranty (first was a furnace issue) and both times the company was polite, efficient, and got the job done. Would definitely recommend.
