Great Experience. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable regarding the washer I was looking for and needed for the space in my home. There was no pressure to buy or up sale me. He provided me with the information I needed and emailed me a cost comparison allowing me to look it over before making a decision. What a great experience! I had contacted dominic’s online after business hours. However, much to my surprise, i received an email response within the hour! And; after a couple email exchanges, a deal was made. Best part, my appliances arrived 2 days later! Even the delivery team was great. Removed my old appliances down the stairs of a Philly townhome. Then installed AND tested the new appliances to complete the experience. Would highly recommend dominic’s and i will definitely be using them again should the need arise. Unlike a big box store, the service is quick, attentive and courteous... and we got an installation appointment the same week. And most important, the price was excellent -- a much better deal than Lowes or Homedepot. Why go to a national chain when you can support a local business and save some money in the process for the exact same appliance!?

However one delivery person was very unprofessional he damaged my washer upon delivery. The customer service to start off with was excellent, the microwave I choose was in and delivered in 2 days, the installation was even better, they removed the old microwave from under the cabinet installed the new microwave took the old one away and was done in 15 minutes, paid a lower price and much better service then any box store, Dominic’s never fails to impress!!!!!

Not only was I able to snag a delivery slot for next day, but the was way lower than one of those ‘big box stores’. At the ‘big box’ stores, they’re happy to take your money. They’ll get the address wrong, the date wrong, the time all wrong; no phone call so you can scramble home. Or maybe it won’t be in stock. Delivery crew from Dominick’s called 30 mins ahead, were unfailingly polite. But with temperatures around 100 degrees, they even went the extra mile, in the face of unexpected adversity. I feel guilty I couldn’t tip them more than the money in my pocket.

We thought we would use Lowes for purchase and installation of a new oven. They made very big mistakes that resulted in us cancelling the whole order, and being refunded our money after a long day of waiting for a delivery that did not happen. We returned to Dominic’s, which we used before, and found prices there far more competitive and installation and delivery much more dependable. We will never make that mistake again!

When we discovered our washing machine broke, we knew Dominic’s was the best place for us to find a replacement. What we didn’t know was how limited we were with space to find a replacement - after renovating our home we were left with a very narrow opening to our basement. Mark knew the exact questions to ask to make sure whatever we purchased would fit in our basement and also to make sure we could remove the existing appliances. Upon delivery, the guys from Dominic’s broke down the existing washer and dryer to remove it from our home and installed the new appliances without any issues. Highly recommend!

Dominic's makers it West and gets things done properly. It's be a trade-off if the big box stores were cheaper. They aren't. I see only upsides and an very pleased to have found them.

When it comes to appliances, don’t mess around with those big box stores. You are not going to get the customer service you deserve. I have ordered from Dominic’s not just for my personal house, but for my job, as I worked in commercial and residential real estate. The guys are always friendly and give competive pricing. You want buy from the mom and pop stores bc who is going to fix it when it ultimately breaks? Let’s face it, the average appliance now are built to have short life spans or just not built great anymore. Dominic’s is one of those rare businesses where there’s a person at the other end of the phone line. You wont’t regret having that peace of mind.

I cannot endorse Dominic's more enthusiastically for their work. We had a very drawn-out issue with one of the large box stores not delivering a refrigerator. The issue dragged on for about two weeks passed the original delivery date and only ended when we cancelled the order. We found Dominic's online and decided to purchase from a local business, and boy, were we happy we did! The service was great from beginning to end. The salesman Pete helped us arrange delivery within the week. The delivery men were exceptional! They arrived within the window, removed the old fridge quickly and efficiently, and got the new fridge installed without a scratch to the unit or our walls -- a pretty impressive feat for a narrow house in South Philadelphia! Buy your appliance from here, you do not need to look any further. After a recommendation from our grandfather we gave Dominic's a call and were impressed every step of the way. They recommended the right appliance for our needs (not the most expensive one) and delivery was quick. We have a trinity style row home with a spiral basement stair and they were able to disassemble the washer (a speed queen) and put it back together in the basement, testing it before leaving. Will be back for our next appliance.

I bought a washer dryer from them. The experience at the store was great. They had what I wanted, was in stock and well priced. The issue was with the delivery and the delivery guys. They brought the wrong dryer and had to go back and came back the next week, which was fine. The guys who delivered were rude, had too much attitude, kept complaining how they hate their jobs, did not wear any masks or shoe covers and kept cursing at how heavy the machines were. On top of that, the washer door they brought up is all scratched up. If you plan to buy from this place, try to get your own delivery guys, don't use there's..they are aweful.

Like other reviewers, I had a mixed experience with Dominic's and would not recommend if you urgently need an appliance. I bought a washer and dryer and had a great experience with the sales part and we had scheduled delivery for three days later. On that day the installation workers came with the machines, saw our house, and current stacked washer/dryer unit and said they did not have the men or time to deal with our small staircase corner or to disassemble our current unit. After they left my husband and I disassembled the unit ourselves in 20 minutes. The next scheduled delivery we call at the beginning of the delivery time to ensure they would bring enough workers this time. At which time we were told they did not have enough workers that day and would have to reschedule AGAIN. At the next delivery only two workers showed up and my husband had to help them move the units and the rest went smoothly (except the installers NOT wearing masks in our house). I understand there can be setbacks, injuries, and people calling out sick. However 95% of this could have been avoided with clearer communication.

I needed a dryer to get through a narrow doorframe and found Speed Queen at Dominics. I purchased a dryer that they were able to detach and reattach the shell in order to get it down the basement. Now I have a 7 cubic feet dryer! Delivery was quick and the delivery men were so very professional and courteous. They even broke down the old dryer and took it with them, though there was a charge for that but it was well worth it. This was such a pleasant experience that it took me by surprise because I’ve had bad experiences with delivery service from Raymone & Flanagan every time. Want to share my experience with Dominic's appliances on Passyunk Avenue. Our diswasher broke last week. So I went online and researched the best diswashers. I do not like bosche, most of them to not have a heat dry option, anyways I favor Whirlpool because I like the silverware on the door! I found a whirlpool diswasher that was perfect and had over 2000 5 Star reviews. So that is the one I went with. I called Dominics, and gave them the serial number and their price was over $100 cheaper. I checked Best Buy, HHGreg, Sears, Home Depo, Lowes, All had the same price range! We even discussed going to pick it up in Delaware to save taxes. NOT worth it. Dominics was the best! Please consider patronizing our local stores! He is worth it and gave us 1 year warranty on Whirlpool items. He fixes them for us!!!
