Well where do I begin. It is very hard to find camera stores in the dc area, there's only a few especially for film photography. I have been a customer for a couple years now, always have a great experience. Always great customer service, and I always get everything I need there. I solely do film photography, so its nice to have a store that can help me with my film needs (buying film rolls, developing, etc.). I just recently bought my first camera bag that can hold my Yashica (media format), super 8, Olympus 35mm point and shoot, lighting, and more film rolls. Even my laptop and other little gadgets. The bag was "Tenba DNA 13 DSLR Messenger Bag - Blue". Such an amazing bag because it's so convenient for traveling, and just overall everything! The staff are amazing, and so friendly. They always help me out with everything, definitely come here for all of your camera needs! I've attached the bag i got and some photos i got developed here, look how gorgeous they came out! Thank you District Camera!!

I was excited to get my film developed here! From the day I brought it in I was told it would take 7 days. I understand that the estimate isn’t always right so I gave it about 9 days and I called. I was told it would be another week before my film was developed. I waited 3 more days and I got the film back. All of the photos turned out good but I wish they would have been more transparent or given better estimates. All in all, it took 12 days when I was told 7.

I couldn’t have had a better experience! Tom, behind the used parts counter, was extremely informative and helpful. It makes a difference when someone is there because they really want to be, and not because they have to. If you want a team that is super knowledgeable and friendly, I would definitely go here. Amazing!

This was my first time working with District Camera and I can confidently say that I have never had a better experience at a Camera store in the 15 years I've been a photographer. Each member of the staff was friendly and knowledgeable and PATIENT...very patient! Which was very important to me as I was trading in all my well-loved gear for a new set up. Their trade-in prices were fair and I left knowing I would be taken care of in the future! Thanks guys! Always great to find a nice family run business to support.

Glad I stop by, had a question about my LUMIX not working with STM lens via adapter (cheap one off Amazon). Dwayne enlighten me on why so, even though camera is set to recognize lens w/o auto focus. Thank you much, this will surely help me in plotting my lenses for road ahead. Few days back I stopped by a shop on I street in DC those guys said I have faulty adapter. Which is clearly not the case.

This place is great. I went in undecided between two cameras. I talked to three different employees about it. Each knew everything about both cameras. All the pros and cons, all technical specs... They were able to help me make a decision based on my personal needs. I am SO happy with my purchase. To make things better, they had a trade in promotion so I was able to get a bit of an added discount on my new camera. Nice and helpful staff, all the best gear. And for those who don't know, cameras tend to be price-fixed by manufacturers so District Camera sells everything at the same price you can find anywhere else. You won't find things cheaper from any verified seller anywhere. SO SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL CAMERA STORE!

Had an issue with a rental but Elder the owner of the store was really kind enough to follow up on it and take care of it in an efficient manner. I appreciate his business ethic and working with me to resolve it. Many staff or owners would not have done that and for that, 5/5 stars. As mentioned before, had a positive experience with Kevin at the Arlington store. He was knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. Large selection of rentals and cameras available. Multiple locations in the DMV area as well. Easy to book online.

Always an Amazing Experience! I have shopped at this location at least 12 to 15 times by now, and I must say consistency is key with me. One camera has been sold out everywhere and they were one of the last locations to have 2 left! Being a loyal customer, they were able to hold my camera until I got there! I love this location the best, then Burke, and lastly DC if that's your only option. "But it's the consistency for me' lol

Local enthusiasts are doing the best that they can. They sell on Amazon, but local pickup is a convenient option. The used lens I bought was in excellent condition.

They employees that work here are very helpful and knowledgeable. It's nice being able to walk into a place and ask questions. The rentals are a great way to test out a lens before purchasing. The Burke location has more sick but the Arlington location is spread out and better lightning. Can't wait until they are able to have events again...

I got to the district camera on Wilson’s blvd Arlington VA, the staff there are extremely friendly and they know what they are talking about. I love how the camera store is conveniently near my job and that they still sell film! They have a bunch of great camera gear and the store itself is very well organized and clean! I’m definitely gonna be coming to this camera store a lot more often and highly recommend this store to anyone who asks me about a good local camera store ☺️

I was trying to track down a hard to find camera from across the country. Not only did they helpfully confirm they had the camera over the phone but helped me get it ordered all in one go. Even when there was a snag with payment, the patiently waiting for me to sort it out. The shipped it as soon as they could and it arrive right on time and all in working order. My friend Catherine and I came in two days ago to sell old equipment and I wanted a new lens. Everyone was so helpful and we had such a great experience! And we found out that the store is near a Metro stop, so it will be much easier in the future to go there! I love my new to me Canon 24-105 L lens!

District Camera staff has the best costumer service. I walked in on Saturday morning in need to develop film and have some prints made. I’m not a professional photographer, I don’t speak “the language” and my order was very small, however they treated me with genuine care and friendliness.

Rented a large lens, which was easy and painless. However, the lens filter broke, owner told me that it was lost (even though intact), therefore not covered by the insurance policy. Disputed it with CC and other owner called, apologized and provided a refund. Advised them they should revise their rental policies, that aside everything worked out with the rental.
