My go to appliance shop for not only all my rentals but my home and others when in need. They have always been good and have good appliances that aren’t all beat to hell like most others. I have seen a lot of used appliance stores around Tampa and their appliances run the longest and look the best. Their delivery driver is very respectful and will go the extra mile to make you or your tenants happy.

We buy all our appliances from here. We've shopped around extensively and theres no better appliance place of you're on a budget. Our whirlpool washer and dryer from here works like new and we've had it for 3 years already. We just bought our KitchenAid fridge from here and plan to come back for any future appliance needs. The people that work here are nice & friendly, plus they offer delivery!

Don and Steve were great in helping us choose a good washer and dryer. They also generously explained how to diy repair a broken heating element on our glass top electric stove. What more, after our van broke down, they were kind enough to hold the washer and dryer for weeks until we were able to pick it up. Great experience overall!

Night and day experience over another dealer on Florida Avenue. My old dryer crashed on me and I only had $150 to spend. The other dealer would not discount his machine $9 to help me and would not take my trade in. Chester and his team was so helpful and they were able to get me into an even nicer Whirlpool dryer and still stay on budget. On top of that, they offered a 30 day warranty and will work with you if you need repairs in the future and bring it in. Talked with the owner and got a good feeling about Chester and his store. These are good people... and they take trade-ins. What more can you ask for?!?!? I just found my new GO-TO spot for appliances. Thanks Chester!

I don't know about you, but there is nothing I loathe spending money on more than new appliances. We believe investing in reusable things is much more eco and cost effective (Dave Ramsey fans anyone?) in the long run. My husband and I have used Chester's Appliances for well over 15 years now. We've gotten washers, dryers, dish washers, ovens, and refrigerators from them. They've always offered fair prices and reasonable warranties and helped fix a few appliances we've kept running over the years vs. unneccessarily needing to replace them. They are a small but mighty operation and we feel good supporting a local family business more than anything else.

Always a great experience. Great customer service. Your personal interest is always their main goal. They deal with great quality products at a great price. (I myself knowing little to none about appliances) They pointed me in the right direction and were able to make my budget work for me. They offered to deliver my order to my residence, but I managed to fit everything in my truck; in which, they took the time to load and strap it down for me. Piece of mind. Always worried when moving around a top heavy refrigerator. I will always recommend family and friends to Chesters. I arrived with little confidence and left with plenty.

We bought a Maytag Series 3000 dryer from them about 2 months ago. They were friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable about the products. The staff helped me (a woman) load the dryer into my truck. The dryer came with a 30 day warranty. We had no need for that as the dryer worked perfectly until this morning. No fault of Chesters lighting struck close to my home and fried one of the solder points on the mother board. I called Chesters to find out how much it would cost to repair. The gentleman I spoke with said bring in the board and they would repair it for free. I reiterate thatvit was passed the 30 days and likely caused by a lightning strike but they still took care of me. Chesters has a customer for life, and I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs an inexpensive reliable appliance.

We love Chesters! So far over the years, we have bought 2 washer and dryer sets, an oven, and two refrigerators from them. Their prices are great and they don't try to put the Hard Sell on you. We have been very happy with all the products we bought from them so far.

What a wonderful company! I needed a refrigerator in an emergency situation. They had exactly what I needed and delivered it that night. They went above and beyond to make sure I had it delivered that day. I later called them with a question on the icemaker they had someone out that same day (On a Saturday!) to look at it. The delivery crew was amazing they had the old refrigerator out and the new one installed within minutes and same thing with the ice maker. Very efficient, very respectful and knowledgeable. The appliance was super clean and works like a charm. I would not hesitate using this company again. Don was great!

Been going to Chester's for a years now. These guys are honest and don't try to rip you off. They take the time to explain things and the prices are great. If it only takes a cheap part to fix your machine, they will tell you, and sell it to you, and tell you how to repair it, rather than try to talk you into buying one of their machines. I wouldn't buy a used appliance from anywhere or anyone else. These guys have been in business for a long time, and have a lot of repeat customers.The few people who say these reviews are fake have probably never been there, these, at least mine, are real. and to those who say they were rude, i have a hard time believing that, if so, you probably deserved it. this place is great!

Just bought a washer from them. My old one went out and I just needed something reasonable until we move in to a new home. Tried the washer and so far so good. Staff was nice. Remember you arent going to best buy this is a mom and pop operation. I will update this review if repair is needed or any other problems arise.

I just moved into a new Apartment. I found this place online while searching for a washer and Dryer. Despite the reviews I decided to check it out. They were super friendly and helpful as soon as I walked in the door, and the manager gave me an amazing deal. I ended up buying a new style Whirlpool washer/dryer set for $300. They arrived on schedule and the friendly delivery driver set everything up for me. I would highly recommend checking this place out. They have a large selection and were very helpful finding me the best deal.

Been going here for years and never steered us wrong. Bought a washer/dryer that last over 7 years. A refrigerator that worked for over 8 years until I replaced it with a new one that I was given. I bought stove that stopped working and they replaced it with no hassle. That was the first thing I've ever gotten from them that gave me any problems. The items are pretty reliable and the prices are cheap.

I went in looking for an accessory piece for a microwave. They have a great selection of appliances on the floor. If they don't have it, you probably don't need it. One quick minute after I entered the store, I had the part in hand and had saved serious $. I believe it was the boss (Chester?) who was at the desk. I took some business cards to give out and told him I'd put a review up here for him. Here it is! :) Glad to do it. I've got his card on the fridge and am not going anywhere else for any appliances in the future. He just got a customer for life. Highly recommended.

My washing machine decided it wanted to get persnickety in the middle of a load, with water to the top and beyond. It took about 10 towels to clean that up. Anyway, I figured I needed a new washing machine, so I called a friend I knew had purchased several used appliances locally for her new house. So, I called Chester's, expecting to be told that I did, indeed, need a new washer. Is that what happened? NOPE! The person I spoke with diagnosed my problem over the phone, told me I needed a $25 part and he'd show me how to install it. I felt like an absolute idiot, as I needed him to show me about 29 times how to change out the parts... but he was absolutely great! I have zero confidence in my mechanical skills, but guess what? My washer is working just fine now, and I didn't even break a nail doing it :-)

I have had the wonderful opportunity to get to know the owner and staff at Chester's Discount Appliance, they are fantastic. Jim and his staff work like crazy to make sure each appliance is in great working order before it is put on the showroom floor. Make sure if you are in the Tampa area to stop and compare. You won't be sorry, they have been there for two generations taking care of the people that make them successful, their customers! Last week, I was in Arizona, taking care of a house we have there. The staff here is absolutely amazing. I bought a washer and dryer from them and 8 months after my warranty it had a hiccup, I called into chesters and the guy diagnosed the issue over the phone. I came in to the store and he gave me the part and told me exactly how to fix it and it was just as easy as he said it was to install. LIFE SAVERS! I live in Idaho and accidentally called Chester's while I was looking online for a washer part. I did not realize it was in Florida. However when we realized my mistake the man I talked to STILL sent me the part and because this single mother is struggling and has very little money, he was kind enough to shipped it on his own Dime. Chester's Discount Appliance is by far the best used appliance stores in tampa.I typically don't leave posts ,but in this case they deserve it.I've been going to Chester's for at least the past six years for all my appliances,Mainly Washers and Dryers.But due to moveing to places without whasher dryer hookups I would end up having to sell them back to Chester'at a more then fair price.I would have to say they they have some of the best customer service I've ever witnessed in a business.Where they seem to care more about the customer then just putting money in their pockets.All there appliances come with a 30 day warranty.And speaking with experience with this company, they absolutely make sure you have great quality appliances on the day they deliver it to you( no matter what).Chester's have been in business for quite some time and if you've ever bought from them befor ,its not hard to see why.I have to say THANK YOU to Don at Chester's for his high level of customer service.And I highly recommend Chester's to anyone looking for appliances!!!
