We called for an appointment to fix our non-tumbling dryer on the Friday after the hurricane. They were able to come out Tuesday afternoon, which was quicker than I expected, given the storm. The tech showed up during our time window, was polite and professional, and diagnosed and repaired the issue quickly! I think he was here for about 45 minutes, if that. He let me know before starting the repair what the cost would be. I was able to pay with a credit card and the tech emailed us a receipt and briefed me on the warranty from both Appliance Repair Specialists and LG. No complaints, would definitely use them again!

I called several companies to get an estimate on our dishwasher. Although, the estimates were close, we are happy we went with Appliance Repair Specialists. The tech showed up during our time window. He was polite and professional, and diagnosed the issue. The tech.let me know before starting the repair and what the cost would be. No complaints, would definitely use them again! Hats off to Cathy and Brian for their great customer service and knowledge of work.

I made an appointment with this business because when I first made the initial phone call they asked for the appliance brand, serial number and model number. I realized they wanted to be fully prepared to repair the washer. I had made 2 phone calls with 2 other repair services but they did not ask for this information. The repair person was courteous and honest. (The washer was beyond repair!) I would most certainly recommend this business although the machine was irreparable- however they were honest enough to let me know.

1/21/2023 Our Whirlpool ice maker on/off arm failed to work 2 yrs in a row. Last yr had Aussie Appliance Repair: fixed quickly yet didn't demonstrate how to resolve if happened again & $$ about same as *ARS. Yesterday *Jason came promptly at 9am & repaired ice maker regulator < 5 min & took the time to show us x2 how to resolve the issue if it occurred again. That is the #1 what we were impressed about. I contacted APR because my washing machine was "walking" during the "spin" cycles. It got so bad I had to be careful when I used the machine and what kind of load I could put in. I also had another company in during the Holidays who "reset" the computer and charged me $125.00 without resolving the issue. APR asks -specific- questions on-line about your problem and appliance. Technician was well trained and experienced and already had an idea of the possible problem -and- had the potentially needed spare parts (no wasted time). Technician explained what he believed was wrong, tested it, provided a reasonable and well-explained estimate. I had the work done and the technician re-tested everything. Machine runs perfectly now. Very happy with the result and price and I'll be passing these folks on to others I know who may need them.

I was very impressed with the care taken by the technician, Rudy, in diagnosing what turned out to be a complex problem with my refrigerator. Rather than try to sell me a bunch of new parts, which he probably could have done, he said he wanted to go back and consult with their senior technician and the refrigerator manufacturer. He later called back and suggested that I try a simple fix myself; simple meaning no disassembly and no tools. I did as he asked and it solved the problem. I happily paid for the service call, which remains open for 30 days in case I need someone to come back. The refrigerator and ice makers are now working the way they are supposed to. I highly recommend this business.

Let me just say, I was exceptionally pleased with the service I received from this company. I had a ceiling leak which dripped onto my shaggy bathroom rug. I decided to wash it in the washer. The whole rug dismantled in my machine. I searched online for companies that could repair my machine. They were so ridiculously priced just to come look at my machine. Then, I stumbled up on Appliance Repair, the gentlemen who answered the phone was so nice. He told me how much it would cost to come look at the machine and stated that if I agreed to let them repair it, this cost would be deducted from the actual repair. The young man who repaired my machine was only 21 years old. I was so impressed by his professionalism and knowledge. He repaired my machine and it's working like a charm. He even gave me some pointers on how to keep my machine in great working order and my repair came with a 90 day warranty if anything were to go wrong with it! Exceptional Company, Exceptional Service! This is a company of true integrity, which is hard to find these days! Thank you Appliance Repair for a job well done!

I have used this company twice now and will certainly keep using them from now onwards. Colin was very polite, professional and knowledgeable. He replaced the heating element in my dryer and also repaired my light console in my refrigerator as the old one had shorted out the whole thing! He managed to get it working while we waited a few days for the part. Great service all round!

Update a year later - refrigerator again having issues - Rudy was very honest and said it was likely to be unrepairable due to it being largely unsupported now (i.e parts not available). Dishwasher even more problematic! So, in spite of not being repaired, very honest about what could and could not be done and how much it would cost. Useful suggestions as to replacement and how to keep things limping along. Really like Appliance Repair Specialists. - Samsung refrigerator died - Jason came out the next day after my call - diagnosed the problem and was back with the parts in 3 days. Repaired and up and running again. A pleasure dealing with hime and the front office who were very efficient. Another problem was dealt with quickly - just needed power cycling as a result of a power outage confusing the fridge's "brain". I couldn't be more pleased.

This is a great company. Late Tuesday night before Thanksgiving, I noticed the refrigerator was not cooling. The freezer, however, was ice cold and running. After scrambling with food, I called ARS and left message with service. They called me first thing Wednesday morning to let me down early as possible and said they were totally booked and closed for the holiday weekend. As expected they couldn't get me until Monday. I trust them over others I've tried, so I scheduled it for that next Monday About 90 minutes later they called back and said the could get here at the end of the day. The tech showed up, took it all apart, saw some oddities he hadn't encountered before, consulted with a senior tech, and got me up and running It's 16 years old and on it's last legs probably but we survived the holiday.and so far still good I wholeheartedly recommend this company to anyone in need of appliance repair.

I am so pleased with our service! Our Frigidaire was not getting cold anymore. Jason came out and he told us something simple we could try that would save us money. He was very courteous, professional and knowledgeable! After that didn’t work, he came right out and checked every single thing on our fridge and was able to replace a part and verify that was the only issue. I’m so glad he had us try the first thing because if that would’ve worked it would’ve saved us a lot of money which was nice! Ice buildup on bottom of freezer. Called to set up appointment and I was called back and given an expected date and time window, which occurred. Rudy showed up and disassembly and diagnosis was prompt. He was puzzled by a block of ice in a different position and immediately called a remote expert who recognized the ice position and said it was normal for that unit. That ice was removed anyway, reassembly performed, and Rudy was on his way. Fast, efficient, affable and the cost was very reasonable for the hour and half he was here.

Review Appliance Repair Specialists did a wonderful job from beginning to end. My call was taken by a delightful young woman who was cheerful and efficient. I described my problem, a terrible screeching noise in the washing cycle of my Maytag washing machine, and she said she would get back to me as soon as she could schedule a repairman. She did. The time was scheduled and the repairman was here exactly when he was supposed to be. Eric was polite, clean and knowledgeable about his work. He also had a great sense of humor about my yappy little Yorkie, Candy, who thinks everyone who comes here should pay attention only to her. The problem was diagnosed, parts ordered and the repair scheduled. Again, Eric came at the appointed time and installed the new part. He then cleaned up the little mess that he had made, dealt with paperwork and payment (which was very reasonable) and went on his way to his next appointment. Our fridge started leaking water from underneath. Found Appliance Repair Specialists on the Better Business Bureau website - they had an A+ rating...a much deserved rating. Nobody wants to deal with having to fork over money to repair an appliance, but they made it as painless as possible. Eric was professional, friendly and very informative. I will definitely be calling them again for future reference and would strongly recommend them to anyone in a similar situation.

This is a 5-star review for service that was never performed. My washer broke and I scheduled service. The day of the service the tech called me and discussed the issue. I had done some research into what the problem was and the tech said exactly what my research had found. Then came the 5-star part. He explained to me what the problem was most likely to be, then explained that in his experience, most people are better off replacing the unit then going down the rabbit hole of repairs for this problem. He called me because he didn't want me to waste my money on a service call when odds were that I would replace the unit anyway. This kind of concern for the customers experience is more than a person can hope for on most days. I hope something breaks soon so I can finally give this guy some business. He has earned my loyalty. I can't comment on how good they are at repairs because they saved me from paying for repairs. :)

Appliance Repair Specialists repaired, actually rebuilt, my 15 year-old Maytag washer. It nows works like new. We are very pleased. It (still) matches the dryer and (still) fits in the custom designed space. So essentially they saved me about $1,500 from buying new units. Both my washer and oven stopped working, a trusted family friend recommended ARP, so with terror in my heart I called. I believe I spoke with Dave, he was so thorough, kind, thoughtful, and professional. Parts ordered and appointment made for both appliances; one repairman for both machines.( if parts not used no charge) Shannon called to confirm the appointment, a true asset to your business, courteous, concise, and coherent. My phone rang at 1:20, appointment day, with an apology for being late and an ETA of 20 minutes, Mario arrived in 10. (Previous experiences led me to believe, late meant 5:05 pm....) So upon arrival had to share the news, " My oven started working, it fixed itself." Mario was all smiles, checked the oven, and congratulated me. Then to the broken washer. Turned it on and it worked. Mario still all smiles, checked out the washer and offered congratulations. All this is good news but now the most unbelievable gift was offered, "No charge today." I knew exactly what was wrong with my washer (front door gasket was torn and water leaked out the door) and needed it repaired. Called on a Friday , the part was ordered and was instructed they would call when part arrived to schedule the service call. Unfortunately I left off a # at the end of the Model (did not look in the machine but on my purchase receipt) The part would have fit perfectly but the gasket had 2 openings for a light and another hose, so the tech, called gave the correct Model # and indeed was not the correct one. Another part ordered, came in the next day and the following day was installed. The tech could have easily installed the wrong part and left hoping it worked but he was honest enough to at least question it. So not wanting to take any chances I could wait a couple for more days to have it done right! I have always had great service from Appliance Repair Specialists and will continue to use them for my appliance repairs.

It's always nice to be able to write a good review when you require a service. I was so pleased when I called Appliance Repair Services to repair our washer. The girl who answered the phone was so polite, professional and cheerful taking the information. It was a pleasure to work with her. She assured us that we would get a call back by 5PM to confirm appt. that was made for the very next day. They did call. Gave us a window of 8 am to 10 am for repairman to arrive. He called 7:30 am to let us know he'd be at our house in Wesley Chapel at 8 am. Mario Chinchilla arrived on time. was very pleasant. Went directly to work and fixed the problem after checking all the workings on the machine. We lucked out that it was only a loose nut that had come off. But he informed us on the machine's programing (which I knew nothing about...I didn't read the book on that) and gave us helpful hints on maintaining machine. I can't say enough, and probably said too much. But I would recommend Appliance repair to all my friends and family. They're fast, professional, efficient and very, very pleasant to work with. APPLIANCE REPAIR SPECIALISTS SAVED OUR REFRIGERATOR AND OUR WEEKEND! Our refrigerator circuit board was fried after TECO turned off and restored power to install a new utility pole. Fortunately, we found Appliance Repair Specialists, who were here the next morning. Not only did Chris Conger diagnose the problem quickly, but the office expedited the replacement part so we would have refrigeration before the weekend. This company was very professional, arrived on time, solved the problem quickly for a reasonable charge and even showed us how to clean our gas stove burner. Highly recommend, especially if you have a high-end brand appliance.

We called Appliance Repair Specialists to assess a water leak in our refrigerator spilling into the inside of the food bins and shelf surfaces. We were given an appointment the next day during a time we requested. Our serviceman, Mario Chinchilla, arrived on time, was professional and quickly fixed a frozen drain and bent heater connection blocking the drain hole. We would definitely would contact this company if service repair when needed in the future and will request Mario because he knew what he was doing and was helpful in sharing his knowledge with us.

As always, my refrigerator stopped working on Friday before the weekend. Appliance Repair Specialists were able to schedule me for Monday afternoon where the other service companies contacted could not do better than Wednesday or Thursday of that week. With an arrival window of 1pm to 4pm on Monday the technician actually arrived at 2pm, well before the deadline. Past experience with other services (A/C repair, cable service, etc.) is that I usually wait 20 minutes past the promised time. The technician, Chris, was very friendly, professional, and neat. The repair was completed without difficulty and did not include any hint of unnecessary work or parts. It turned out to be a broken wire connector to the compressor. Parts and labor came in at just over $100.00 when I had feared the costs would be more like $300 to $400. It's comforting to have a go-to service and I'd recommend ARS if you have a problem. My refrigerator stopped cooling, freezing and making ice. All the things you did not want to happen. My first contact was Sears who convinced me to take out a Home Warranty contract and they would fix my frig in 24 hours. When they came, the tech said that they could not fix it because the compressor was under manufacturer warranty and the were not an authorized Maytag repaid center. Well, after over a week of fighting with Sears and finally just cancelling the contract I contacted ARS who returned my web inquiry with in a few hours. Their tech, Mario, came and evaluated and the compressor was ordered. They did say it would be two days and then when I asked for an update it was now another week before the distributor would get us the compressor. Fortunately of us, I had already complained to Maytag directly about Sears. They called me and asked for an update and also the part #. When I told Maytag the ETA from the distributor, then immediately shipped a new compressor from the factory to my house. I then contact ARS again to schedule Mario to put it in for us. He came early the next day and was done in an hour. Very professional and polite. Within two hours after he left my frig was dropping ice and everything was running like new. ARS was a little expensive in my opinion but they got the job done and with excellent results. ARS will be my go to Appliance Repair Specialists from now on.
