This company was amazing! Our refrigerator broke, and the first repairman our home warranty company sent us told us we needed a new refrigerator, then gave us the number of his "friend," who would give us a good deal on a new one. (These scam artsts are Michael Ewing and Sons.) He never even contacted the home warranty place. I had to ask them to contact him. Then he told them our fridge had been "used and abused," so the warranty company refused to pay for a repair or replacement. When we called the warranty place to complain, they said we could lay out money for a second diagnosis, and if it was different, they would reimburse us. Well, we had All-American Appliance Service come out, and after all that, this repairman replaced one little piece for $238.00 (a lot less than a new fridge)! The repairman was Brian. He was in and out quickly, and our refrigerator was fixed for not very much money. I highly recommend them!

We had our LG refrigerator (don’t ever buy LG) worked on by Billy. He was great and very professional. I would definitely use them for future work. The only issue I have is that my fridge still isn’t working after putting in the new compressor and control board. And I can’t get someone back out here for almost another week.

I don't write a lot of reviews, but I have to give credit to All American Appliance for the work they did on my Frigidaire refrigerator/freezer. The device was never great: cloudy ice, loud. When it randomly quit working after about two years. they came out and tried to fix it. The first attempt did not resolve the issue. It stopped again, So they came out again - for no charge! Unfortunately the second time still did not fix it, but they came out again - for no additional charge! Now, a few weeks later I've noticed that not only is the device still working, it works better than it did when it was new. It makes more ice. The ice is firmer, and I think it's even quieter. We have used All American Appliance before and have always had good prompt service, but this time went above and beyond my expectations.

We called them about having a wall oven repaired. It turned out that it needed parts that were no longer available, but they attempted to locate them anyway Ultimately, after I searched for many hours, I found the parts and they installed them. The oven is working great, saving me about $1500.00 over purchasing a new one! Anthony and Boris were great!! I would not hesitate to call them for any appliance repair.

Jack came out to look at my 8yo Maytag Bravos XL washer. Not only did he figure out the main reason I was receiving the LF code was because my drain hose sunk too low in my drain - and explained how that's supposed to work (I'm a big fan of explanations) - but he also warned me of a larger, costly repair that will soon be inevitable, and said he wouldn't even suggest replacing the water valve knowing the other problem has presented itself. So now, my washer is not only working, but I saved $160 and have been advised to be on the look out for a new machine. He could have very easily replaced the one part and took my money but he was honest enough not to let me waste my money. Go Jack.

We used All-American to repair our dryer this week. Allan was on time, professional and knowledgeable. He quickly pinpointed our problem -- bad gas coils -- replaced them and was out within an hour. The service charge, which was waived with the repair, is perhaps the lowest in town, and the repair cost itself was quite competitive. I'd use All-American in the future and recommend the company.

The technician Jon was excellent and very knowledgeable about high-end built-in refrigerators. This company is capable of servicing any kind of refrigerator. I went through two other repair companies for an extremely complex issue on a large built-in refrigerator and no one else could fix it. I took a chance on this company after reading reviews and was a little nervous because the refrigerator I have requires someone specialized and over the phone this company was able to recognize that and send the right technician for the job. I highly recommend them and will be using them again in the future.

My service was nothing short of excellent. My service technician Johnny was fantastic. After calling two other companies being given appointments that were not honored(one company didn't even call to cancel but sent me a text rescheduling the appointment after i had already waited 3 hours and the other company i had to call to find out that they had no technicians available 2 and a half hours into my service window) it was refreshing to call All American Appliance Service and be given an appointment within a reasonable amount of time. I will definitely use them again and refer them to all of my family and friends.

Scheduling an appoint was pretty easy and I received a call before the technician arrived. Johnny was extremely respectful and knowledgeable in his craft. Before cracking the dryer open, he had an idea about what could be causing a dryer to stop operating. Later turns out, he was absolutely correct and was able to fix the dryer all within 30 minutes. He was great to talk to as he worked on the machine. From start to finish, All American Appliances provided a great service that is very much worth the money, From the customer service to the knowledgeable technicians, I will be calling for future needs! Great repair company!! I had a horrible sound coming out of my Whirlpool Duet dryer. I described to the owner what was happening and they knew right away what the cause most likely was. Allan was our service tech and he really knows his stuff! He was prompt, efficient, pleasant and thorough. He cleaned up after and you could not tell anyone had been there. My fridge was leaking water through the floors. The technician came out and inspected the next day and determined our fridge was having temperature issues. Absolutely wonderful service- the same guy had to come and try to fix our fridge multiple times. He was always able to make an appointment quickly, was extremely corteous, and tried his best to fix our fridge. After replacing 2 parts he could not figure it out, so he gave us the old parts back and refunded our money in full. No charge for labor at all. I definitely highly recommend them!

We called All American Appliance early this morning because our refrigerator and freezer had stopped working. We were hoping for a same day appointment. Not only did we get same day, but in less than 2 hours, the technician came out and fixed everything - he had the compressor part in his van! He was very friendly, professional and helpful. Our oven stopped working the morning of a major holiday. Both the person I spoke with on the phone, and the technician, John, were so incredibly helpful and kind. John came out right away to fix it. I called for service on Friday January 1st. 2016 and couldn't believe the phone was answered. A technician named Matt was scheduled out to my home the next day. He called with an ETA and was timely. Once he arrived he assessed the problem was a deteriorated element in the oven. Matt said he would have to go to the service van to check his inventory. He came back a few minutes later saying the element would have to be ordered and that he would have to return on Tuesday 1-4 in the afternoon. He explained the fee was higher than the norm at ($228) for the part. He says replacing my ranged was approximately $1000. I agreed but wanted to post the fee to help others who may want to do a better job of shopping repairs. Looking forward to the repair. I was told the element was warrantied for 100 days from installation. He returned 8 days later to replace the element and failed to notice the main electrical control board had also been fried and needed to order the part and again return later. He apologized saying he should have notice the problem. During the 2nd waiting period a Menard commercial advertised a similar new smooth top range $550.00. Seven (7) days later Matt brings the board after I had to follow up with his office requesting an eta for the final repair. I was charged $169 for the new board and given 100 days from installation warranty. I paid nearly $400 for repairs and may have replaced the complete appliance for $550. Do your shopping folks. This was okay service but very expensive repairs for an old appliance. My kitchen was a closet for 2 weeks waiting for repairs. Hope it last for a while. Check the cost to replace the appliance prior to repairing, is all I recommend!

We have used All American in the past… this time was different. The technician came to our home TWO TIMES during the COVID-19 pandemic and NEVER wore the mask over his nose! He replaced the overlay/control panel for our oven during the second visit and we woke up to the smell of gas. Perhaps even worse is that the dispatch line offered no apology and made no attempt to get a technician out that morning despite the serious nature of issue or the fact that I called at 7 AM. When my husband called back, the dispatcher just recommended opening a window. We’re stuck here with the patio doors ajar, kids in the home (virtual learning), and 28° outdoors to the tune of $448! Needless to say, we were not at all please with the cavalier attitude, lack of urgency, absence of customer service, etc.

Based on my phone call, he was able to determine what the likely issue was, and brought in the correct part when he came to my house. He was in and out in an hour. Our 25 year old freezer died so I called All American Appliance. I have used them in the past. Cindy in the main office jumped through hoops to get a tech out to our home that same day! The technician Jack, who I have used in the past many times, was thoroughly professional and was able to quickly diagnose the problem, he explained it in simple terms and was able to solve it there on the spot! He was able to save a lot of frozen food from going bad. As we say in the US Navy, "BZ."

Their tech Mike S just finished fixing my dryer. This guy is awesome. Not only was he professional and capable, but he took the time to explain what he was doing and what was wrong with the appliance. He went out of his way to clean the unit and also fixed a tear I had in the vent to save me a couple of bucks and a trip to the hardware store. Now that's all great for a repair company, but I have to say how great his customer service was. I work in customer service and he naturally did all the things I have to teach and train my employees. He made an emotional connection as we talked about our kids, family, and even our dogs. Overall I am completely satisfied and would recommend Mike and his company to everyone!

I had a power surge during a storm and as a result my oven burners (bake and broil) no longer worked. Called All-American and Jon arrived and diagnosed my problem (control switch). Part was ordered and Jon returned within the week to replace the control switch and all was right with the world. Jon showed me the "fried" control switch and fired up the oven so that I could see that the issue was resolved. I highly recommend this company and Jon!

Ryan and All American provided fantastic communication and follow-through, getting our refrigerator back up and running. The entire team worked hard to locate the best price on an authorized GE replacement board, saving us about $80 over the initial estimate. Also, Ryan helped improve the water pressure in our door dispenser, going into our basement to check and adjust valves -- something we didn't even think to ask for, but he offered as part of the service call. My dryer needed a new heating element. Brian came in and within minutes diagnosed the problem. I was right there to see exactly what he was speaking about. The part was ordered, when Brian returned the part was installed quickly and efficiently. This particular technician have worked for All American since 1992. This speaks volume's (I believe) in the company, also I checked the BBB rating and it is good. I definitely think people should give them a try.

John came out to fix our Whirlpool washer that we have loved for 34 years, and did not want to replace. It would not drain dirty water and just stop mid-cycle. We would tamper with the dial/timer and it would "kick in" but then even that would not work after 2 or 3 weeks. He diagnosed the lid switch immediately, replaced it, and was on his way in under 30 minutes. Total bill $148.50 for parts and labor. I figure the company made about $120 for 20 minutes work, but I'm okay with keeping our Americans working and not having to buy a new (not as good) washer. 'Very happy camper!

On his way out, he taught my eight year old a trick to help with her fractions after overhearing her complain during homework. Great guy, seems to be a great company. Incredible Service! I have used another service in St. Louis and also the Gas Company and these guys are the best of the best. Had a problem with my gas dryer and they knew exactly what the problem was and fixed it within 30 minutes for a very reasonable service fee.
