Christine Upton was very helpful helping us determine the right type of grill for us by showing us multiple options along with pricing. In less than a week our new grill was assembled and shipped. Immediate recognition from the front desk. Referred to a specialist, Suzie. Very knowledgeable about gas fireplaces. She was very patient and answered all our questions. Gave us time to sit and view available products. She checked on Energy rebates for us and came up with a $250 credit. We chose a fireplace we liked and she made the referral to the installer, All Fuel. All FUEL called and set up a date for estimator to come out. We returned the next week to talk with Suzie and found that she was on vacation. Travis took us under wing and helped us review our choice of fireplaces. We discussed pros and cons of different products and he spent an hour with us, even though Suzie was the agent we were dealing with, he was great. He looked up the information that Suzie had entered the week before and e mailed a copy of her quote to us. Great people to deal with. Currently awaiting install estimate before placing an order. Update June 23rd, 2022 NW called to let us know the fireplace was ready to be picked up. Suzie had the warehouse burn off the stove for us which eliminated the smell at-home. This worked great and we have had no smell. Although the staff works on commission all were willing to help us when Suzie wasn't there. The service was excellent and I would go there again. Thank you to all the staff and Suzie for a positive experience. We did use our own installer, Accurate Installers in Battle Ground, as we had some special issues to deal with. They did a great job.

I purchased and installed a gas fireplace from NW Natural as part of a larger home renovation project with a construction company. My sales/ purchase experience in the showroom was great. The contracted installer was great. My fireplace looks great other than being slightly not lined up right with the tile. However, a couple weeks after installation I had some strange noises coming from the fireplace I was concerned about. I had a couple frustrating conversations with a terse customer service person who was clearly annoyed with having to talk to me. She told me to send a video to her even though their email was down, which I did. Then she told me somebody would call me about scheduling a service visit and that was two weeks ago. I never received a call from anybody or a response to my email. I lost the business card of my installer, who was very nice and helpful and seemed to be from an independent company and nobody will give me their name or contact information. NW Natural says they are the ones who send him out and I have to go through them. But they clearly don't care about following up with you once you've given them thousands of dollars. So I'm pretty frustrated with them. Updated to add that I did finally end up getting good follow up service. They were apologetic about letting the ball drop with communication. Everything is fine with the functioning of the insert and I'm enjoying it a lot. The service tech was also able to adjust the insert slightly so that it lines up evenly with the tile grout and I am much happier with how it looks.

NW Natural did awesome job getting my product and having a excellent person installing my Kitchen Aid double stove. Most stores require a full deposit before you buy the product. NW Natural has choices if they cannot get the product right away. You can make a deposit, or pay half or full price. I like those option while waiting for the product to arrive. Second the installer checks out your existing area to make sure the product will fit right. Like I said before awesome service.

We highly recommend Trevor at NW Natural Gas Applance Center for his extensive product knowledge, honest salesmanship and amazing customer service. We shopped around, and Trevor stands head and shoulders above his competition. He also offered us the best price in town (by several hundred dollars) without any haggling, and he never tried to upsell us or sell us anything that we didn't need or want. In fact, in the end, Trevor recommended that we not change out our existing fireplace at all considering the lack of a difference a new box in our budget would actually make. How many salespeople do you know these days who would do that? Do yourself a favor: Go talk to Trevor. He's the only gas appliance guy you need to talk to in town.

He was knowledgeable, not pushy, helped me with getting a good price on the system I ordered and followed through with the whole process. I had a problem with the fan not functioning properly and they got service for me right away for that. The process was seamless with them coordinating the installation with the company they use, which also went really well. I would highly recommend them.

When I opened the box that was supposed to hold the fireplace front plate, I found the wrong item that does not fit my fireplace. Our sales rep Trevor was very knowledgeable on his products. Our selection was not feasible due to specification on installation and Trevor had given us a second gas insert if the first selection did not hold to specifications. We did select the alternative gas insert, Roosevelt 29, which is brand new. My only issue is this gas insert did not have any options for the trim (copper) which would have been ideal for making this new gas insert more appealing to consumers.

Have purchased multiple appliances, beyond standard heating/gas, and continue to find NNG staff and products outstanding. This morning, after 7 years of frequent use of a Gas insert, the unit’s pilot stopped lighting the main burner. Although I tried traditional efforts of common sense, user manual, and online research, I hit a wall and called NNG. “Mathew” quickly and politely listened to me describe the challenge and symptoms, asked a couple of clarifying questions, then proceeded to offer a simple solution that I could handle and within 5 minutes all was well. The cleaning of the sensors inside the unit were easy to access and then I could file off the buildup that naturally occurs over 7 years. Saved a service call, unnecessary parts, and got room warmed up in minutes. Thank you NNG and Mathew! Appreciate your great service during these challenging times.

New grill and no way now no way to use it. This is during Covid lock down mind you. Their office not open. I have had my Primo for about a year - I love it...when it is working. I bought the Primo last June - 2011 and the second time I used it, the inside ceramic shell cracked in two pieces. It took about a month and a half to get a new shell and cast iron ash grate - so much of the summer months were spent without having my Primo available to me. I purchased the Primo from Northwest Natural Appliance Center in Portland Oregon. When the new shell and ash grate came in, Northwest Natural Appliance Center said I would have to come and get it, they would not deliver it - wow, horrible customer service. The Primo worked great up until mid June of 2012 - I was cooking Pizza, the grill was hot and I opened the lid and the bands came off the lid and the lid fell back and broke the top of my Teak table. The bolts that hold the bands on were bent and needed to be replaced. I contacted Northwest Natural Appliance Center and told them what happened and they said they would order the parts, including a new Teak table top. Several weeks later they called and said that I could come down and get the parts – I talked with the supervisor and convinced them that they should deliver it to me. He said they would and would install the new table top and fix the Primo bands. Several days later, Northwest Natural Appliance Center delivered the parts. The guy who delivered it told my wife, that he wasn’t going to put the new table top on or fix the Primo – he was told to just drop off the parts. Later when I got home, the table top was there but they didn’t deliver the bolts for the bands. So I called them and they said they would send the bolts which they did about a week later, unfortunately, the bolts were the wrong size. Needless to say, I am very frustrated with Northwest Natural Appliance Center, much of my summer is passing (again) without being able to use my Primo and they have done nothing to make me feel that they care at all about my issue. It’s almost the end of July and I still don’t have a working Primo, I’m not sure when Northwest Natural Appliance Center will get me the correct bolts so I can get the Primo up and running again.

Product was in stock and seamless coordination with the installing contactor. My project was on time, on budget and with quality craftsmanship to boot. They will even file the rebate with the Energy Trust. I don't often give 5 stars but these folks earned it.
