It took us 3 months and 3 different appliance companies to get a new ADA dishwasher. Hamilton's Appliance was awesome! They looked up the dishwasher I chose online to see what it was selling for in other places and price matched (I didn't even ask them to do that!) They said it would be installed in two days and when the installer got here we realized it was going to be a challenge to get the old dishwasher out because of how the kitchen was built in the 80s. Rene (our installer) was awesome! He has an amazing "I can do it" approach. We were so grateful for his determination when it took an hour to get out the old appliance. They went beyond expectations.

First time shopping at and purchasing thru Hamilton and so glad we did. Wanted a more personal experience than a big box store and drove out of our way to this company; was so worth it. We purchased a washer and dryer. The saleswoman, Carla, was outstanding to work with. Her knowledge is extensive- with regards to w/d appliances, as well as kitchen appliances we discussed for future reference. She made the experience fun and educational, a true professional. The delivery and installation were great, as well. Knowledgeable and nice service guy. Highly recommend shopping at this business which has been around for a long time.

Recently I have been reminded why we're loyal Hamiltons customers. We purchased a new upright freezer and shortly after it arrived we noticed it had a manufacturing flaw which made the shelves unstable. Upon learning of the issue, Hamiltons wonderful staff immediately jumped into action assisting with a factory replacement. Laurie was endlessly patient and cheerful in the face of my frustration, checking in and offering encouragement. In the end, Lincoln sent longtime teammate Mike out with our new unit and we are SO thankful for the great customer service. We'll be back again every time we need an appliance - you all are customer service rock stars!

We purchased an Amana gas downdraft cooktop here many years ago and it has been a gem. A few days ago, suddenly it would not work correctly, oddly igniting the incorrect burners!? I called MANY repair shops near my home, but all said they would not look at it. I called Hamilton's, and Lori was Great! She suggested a quick check: unplug it for 20 minutes then re-plug it in and see if it works. This should cause an electronics reset. This simple task worked! She had recommended 3 repair shops that would service our cooktop had we the need. She also recommended 3 other shops for another unrelated electrical problem at our home. What a delight to find excellent quality help! We will definitely shop Hamilton's next time we need a new appliance!

Halloween trick - freezer went out of refrigerator. Three trips to different big box stores with no replacement available for days/weeks. Local store only option too expensive. Prayers answered when daughter called and recommended Hamilton's who rescued her a week before Thanksgiving's cooking marathon. Martin at Hamilton's found a refrigerator that fit my needs and had it delivered and installed that day (thanks, Rene) as well as replacing the kitchen disposal. Prayers answered! Skip the big box stores and go to Hamilton's first!

I broke the bulb fitting on our 21 year old microwave this evening - parts are no longer available so we needed a new microwave that would fit in the same space. We found a replacement model at a big box store and called to see if it was in stock - and were disconnected twice. We called Hamilton's and they were great! In minutes they had checked their stock, gave us a great price and had it sent over and waiting when we arrived. In the store it took less than five minutes to complete our purchase. With Hamilton's quick service, we installed it the same evening and are ready to go

I was losing money by continuing to try to save money by buying used appliances. It was time for me to bite the bullet and buy a brand new washer. I didn’t need something with all the fancy bells and whistles - just something that would be reliable and within budget. The salesman on the floor was very friendly and welcoming, even though they are currently short staffed. He answered all of my questions and helped me narrow down my options. He apologized that due to staffing and holidays delivery would be 1.5 weeks out - still 10x faster than the big box stores can currently offer! Delivery day came and the gentlemen arrived within the estimated delivery window. These gentlemen were also kind and friendly - my washer dryer hookups are a tad outdated and crammed into my bedroom closet. They were able to install my new washer quickly, and also hauled away my old unit with ease. I’ve only run a few loads with my new LG washer - but I’m confident it’ll keep me happy for a very long time. Their (2 year?) warranty can be added on for up to 90 days after purchase, which I think is a wonderful option for those who may not have the $$$ on hand at purchase, but would still like to add the protection on soon after. Would highly recommend Hamilton’s to anyone searching for a trustworthy and knowledgeable appliance store!

My husband and I have purchased ALL of our household appliances at Hamilton's over the years. Any time we need something, we just give Carla a call and she's on it! She's bent over backwards for us each and every time to get us the best options, detailed information, best prices and rebates, and quick delivery from their wonderful delivery team. We've never been disappointed. In fact, the staff at Hamilton's has consistently surpassed our expectations. Now that we've sold our home and it's time to move, it's time to go back to Hamilton's. We're excited to do business with them again! They are the only place we go for the latest and best appliances, and their customer service truly can't be beat.

This is the best appliance retailer we've dealt with in my husband's and my 50 plus years of marriage. Their applicances are competitively priced and their customer service has been fabulous. I wish we had known about Hamilton's sooner! The washing machine we had purchased from Hamilton's had a manufacturing defect. Within 48 hours the problem was resolved. I'm so impressed with the help we got: The owner Lincoln himself, the sales person Chris and two knowledgeable service techs Mike and Calan were quite a team. And what was amazing is they had the spare parts for the "fix" on hand!!

What a great experience shopping in Hamilton's with knowledgeable people. We just had Rene' install the dishwasher and he was fantastic. He communicated throughout the process what he was doing, cleaned everything up and was here for about an hour with everything tested before he left. I highly recommend Hamilton's!

We have been buying merchandise from Hamilton's since the 1960's, once again we are extremely impressed with their service. Our salesman Martin is always knowledgeable on the products he sells and has the most helpful advice with a great personality. Our installer for our new over the range microwave was a young man named Rene. What an expert he is! It only took him 20 minutes start to finish to remove and install the microwave. He was very courteous and left us with no clean up. He was amazing! Just a great company all the way around to do business with.

We just moved to the Gladstone area and needed a washer and dryer for our new house. We picked out which model we wanted and checked a couple of the usual stores. I’d never heard of Hamilton’s, but we called to see if they wanted and they did! They had it in stock and we were able to go in, get an overview of how to use everything, and then pick up that day!! Everywhere else we would have had to wait at least 2 weeks!! Not only was I so happy about being able to get our stuff right away, Bob, the gentleman who helped us was so nice and did an awesome job of explaining everything for us! He also gave some tips on how to keep units running optimally for a long time including not using so much detergent! I really appreciated that! Thank you so much to Hamilton’s, we will definitely be back when it’s time for some other appliances!

I want to give a big shoutout to the folks at Hamilton's. We bought a large capacity Maytag washer and dryer from them ten months ago. We're a family seven, so the amount of laundry we have each week is staggering. So....the washer decided it needed a new electric part, which apparently does not yet exist. Hamilton's staff and their repair partner have worked extremely hard to get the part from the manufacturer to no avail. Knowing the volume of laundry we had, they offered a loaner machine until the part arrives. On Saturday, Alexander their delivery person, and the owner, Lincoln, brought out the machine and set it up. I am beyond impressed that the owner was helping out with delivery on a Saturday. Short story, the machine wasn't working right, so today another machine was delivered. This company goes above and beyond in trying to solve customer's problems and stand behind their guarantees. We just bought our 5th personal appliance from Hamilton's. My parents have always purchased from them and after a terrible experience with a large chain, we finally jumped on board and started coming here. In the eight years in our home we've bought two washing machines(with 3 kids we needed an upgrade!), one dryer, a chest freezer and now a new refrigerator. I've never felt pressured by a salesman here and they've always been friendly, knowledgeable, and patient with me. This time my three year old daughter was with me and our salesman offered her water, a little treat, and even played hide and seek with her while we discussed our purchase options. The next day she was asking to go back to see her new friend. She has autism and can be a little shy when first approached by someone new, but our salesman was patient and kind and she quickly decided he was her new best friend. It's not just the in store experience that makes Hamilton's great. Their delivery guys are fabulous too. They were quick and efficient, but also patient with us since we weren't 100% sure how we were going to handle the transfer of food. Everything went smoothly and they had us up and running in no time. The fridge looks great and we're happy to have supported our favorite local appliance store once again. Thanks guys!

Wow, what can I say. It has been an adventure, but that means I have gotten to meet and work with a lot of the Hamilton employees and all of them have been excellent. It started out with the need for a new wash machine. I shopped all the normal places, even had a set ordered at one of the box chains. On a whim I went to Hamilton's. I have not worked with them before. I met with James. He asked me what I wanted and set to selling me it, but then he followed up with why did I want what I wanted. I learned a lot from him. The positive and negative of each style. I walked out with what I needed not just what I wanted. They price matched the box chain to the penny. Due to the COVID supply issues they were going to have to deliver the washer then the dryer later. They were willing to make both trips without charging me. The box chain had the same issue, but only deliver once they had everything. Surprisingly they got them both at the same time. First wash out the machine decided it wasn't going to work. This is not Hamilton's fault, but the manufacture (not here to bash so not naming names, and I have really enjoyed the working machine). I was bracing with having to argue about "we are not fixing this, I want new" but I didn't even have to. It was just a given they would completely replace it. Working with Laurie was great. She was competent and complete. Pedestals came today and we are complete, ready to go! With three deliveries came three delivery teams. They were all professional, polite, and quick. They must be good guys because my pup didn't try to bite any of them. I will certainly be back, hopefully not too soon though!

Shopped around - and all things considered, found that Hamilton's Appliance (and especially Martin Michael there) to be the absolute best to work with. So grateful for his patience and support in working through all the questions I had (and even more as I kept learning more along the way, as pertained to the best selection of refrigerator were we needing to find). Hamilton’s is a great place to buy your appliances. They take great pains to make sure they beat any prices in the City and to make sure they help you determine exactly what you need for your house. Martin helped us. He was outstanding and patient as we changed our order at least 3 different times before we figured out what worked the best. My husband and I lost our home to fire during the covid pandemic. We hit our usual haunts for appliances (big brand home improvement stores) with horrible results: long waits and few choices. We were looking at a wait of over a month to get a fridge. A friend recommended Hamilton's, and we were treated with kindness and the most helpful salesman. We walked out with a beautiful refrigerator, stove/oven and microwave. The prices were equal to our expectations at big brand. But the service and care was unequaled. Our new refirgerator was just delivered! Can't even begin to thank Michelle and Chris enough for their above and beyond customer service. I emailed them the specs of our old refirgerator and Chris found 3 models that would work for our space. Will definitely be getting future appliances here!! Another great review for Hamilton’s. Last Wednesday I called and their staff was able to track down the last portable AC unit in their warehouse for me, paid over the phone and picked it up directly at the warehouse a few hours later! I've bought two appliances here, most recently a dryer. I've always been happy with the attention and level of service. They price match the big box stores as well so you can get prices you want and also supporting a local business. Martin helped me find the dryer that met my needs-I actually ended up with the floor model because it was the last one in the shop of it's model, and they managed to deliver it the same day. Martin was great-very knowledgeable and friendly without being "sales-y."

Second time purchasing from these guys and they are a class act. I worked with Bob. He was very courteous, knowledgable and attentive without giving me any cheesy sales-guy vibes. My partner and I were looking for a particular color dishwasher with particular features. But we also wanted to get something sooner rather than later. I told Bob we were willing to make some concessions if it meant we could get it soon. He was still able to find a unit in the right color that we liked. Then when I was walking through their clearance section I noticed they had a screaming deal on a BBQ which we have been wanting. So I got that one too and he was able to add it to our delivery without charging extra. Before I left Bob gave me his card and said if we had any issues to contact him directly, rather than calling the manufacturers 1-800 number. Couldn't recommend him and his team more. Way better level of service than any big box store could possibly offer.

After searching for a specific washer and dryer, Hamilton’s had several. The over-the-phone purchase was easy and quick. Fast delivery. Quick set up and when I called to have a minor repair on a sensor in the first week i wasn’t thrilled to have to wait almost 2 weeks for that repair. Within 30 minutes of my saying I wasn’t thrilled to have to wait that long, I received a call and next day service. The repair person even helped me fix another appliance drain. We’ve used Hamilton’s for years and are always happy with them. Oh, I also received a price adjustment when they went on sale 2 weeks after purchase. Great customer service, friendly people!

We purchased a dishwasher near the end of August this year. The transaction went great and was very pleased with the Great service provided by Carla. The dishwasher malfunctioned and we made a warranty claim. The repair people were about 10 days before they could come out. After the first service call they determined we needed to order parts and they would let me know when they could return. Several more weeks passed and my calls went unanswered from the repair shop . Today I called Hamilton's and explained my situation to Carla and she said she would look into it. Within a hour I had a return call and she had a brand new dishwasher for me to exchange. Hamilton's has gone over and above to take care of us. I highly recommend them to anyone who asks. Thanks again Carla!

I return to Hamilton's Appliance every time because I can count on knowledgeable salespeople, who work WITH me on finding the appliance I need, selecting from the numerous brands and models available. Martin knew the various features of each, and was also very patient while I called home for extra measurements. My experiences at big box stores rate zero stars. This is my third purchase of a major appliance from Hamilton's, and I will return next time, too. Shout out to the delivery crew for being careful in my home while removing the old and installing the new! They had to remove and replace the front door. No need to call a repairman afterward for that, because they did it right! Thank you Hamilton's Appliance, for another 5 star experience.

Our family has purchased from Hamilton's for 4 generations. Always have confidence in products will preform as discussed. The in house insurance program is fair and equitable. The few times we have had to use it there was never a problem. If you do not use the insurance you'll get money back. Staff are polite, knowledgeable, they sell good sound products that is backed up with good effort to make things right. I have bought 4 full kitchens, 3 sets of washer and dryer. Have l had problems? Very few times. They were solved fast and without hangups, no run around. I can shop anywhere I'd like to. I choose Hamilton's every time.

I would give my Hamilton's experience 10 stars if I could. In trying to replace my broken dishwasher, I had a horrible experience with a large home improvement store. I had already waited 6 weeks for a a unit that arrive damaged and was told I would have to wait another month for a replacement. I called Hamilton's, who supplied all of our appliances for our kitchen remodel 9 yrs ago, and was immediately helped by Michael Perry - who saved the day! He was very receptive to my needs and timing and found exactly what I wanted for a cheaper price than the larger store. One week later, I have my new KitchenAid dishwasher and could not be more satisfied with Hamilton's service and price. Even the delivery guy, Mike, communicated delivery time, was very careful coming in and out of our home, and even offered installation advice. The dishwasher is great but the service was amazing! Thanks! I will be back...

Our dishwasher which we bought at Hamilton's 13 years ago decided to melt everything including one of it's parts. We tried to fix it ourselves to no avail. My husband who will not go into stores due to the covid 19 printed out various spec sheets and ads for dishwashers and sent me out with his sister to purchase a cheap black dishwasher similar to our existing broken one. Martin Michael went out of his way to help us and has more patience than any sales rep that I have ever dealt with, checking around and calling other stores and even stores in other states. The time line was going to be very long to get the black color. Martin showed us an incredible floor model with amazing features and worked us a tremendous deal and it was in black. I had it delivered, set up and our old one removed. When I thought that things couldn't get any better they did. It came in the form of a man named Rene. A superstar service man, Rene called ahead, carried in the dishwasher himself went right to work and revamped our failing system, reconnected wiring and installed the perfectly designed dishwasher in the imperfect space provided to him. For the first time ever I can close the dishwasher without giving it a hard shove and a violent hip check. We have been doing the happy dance ever since. In a very stressful time these two men shine above all others and we cannot thank them enough.

We bought a Speed Queen washer and dryer recently and both are are very nice appliances. We got the ones with the electronic display and find them easy to use. The washer automatically fills to the level needed without having to select a water level and the locked lid can be unlocked by pushing "pause". The dryer sensor works well. We received great service during the purchase and for the delivery and installation. It's wonderful to be able to shop at a local business. You know you'll be treated right!

I have bought numerous appliances from Hamilton’s over the last several years. One was an over stove microwave 3 days before the warranty expired it crashed, returned it for a speedy repair. All was well for 2 weeks before it blew up again. My blood pressure went to 177/80. Called Lincoln he checked with supplier and they would not cover it, out of warranty. Hamilton’s stood up to the plate, Lincoln said come on in we will refund you the amount of your purchase and apply it to a new one of your choice . Came to the store where Martin took control and I left with a new microwave. Blood pressure back to 120/80. Great thanks to Lincoln and Martin for customer service over and above the call of duty. We can't say enough about our experiences with your delivery crew. Our first delivery a week ago was a refrigerator. Scott and his colleague (I'm sorry that I can't recall his name) were tireless in their efforts to get it right. Yesterday, Scott and René installed our new "microhood" and dishwasher. Dishwasher was not an easy install, as our house is 80 years old, and the plumbing set-up wasn't ideal. They worked very hard to GET IT RIGHT. We are very thankful that we used Hamilton's, rather than a big box store. Andrew, It sucks about your situation, but I used to work at Hamilton's for 2+ years. They're a great company. They often hired older sales guys from Standard who were about to retire. They remodeled and accomodated Jesse Freeby, so he could maintain work after his severe accident. They offer profit sharing with the employees. They offer very good salaries (so no one is on commission) in order to keep things civil and customer focused. This is a good company owned and operated by good people. During my tenure they have let people go, but they don't fire people for no good reason--even if it doesn't seem like it's fair.

I woke up one morning to find out my old 36" counter depth Amana finally kicked the bucket. We bought the fridge at 10:30am and it was installed by 1:30pm! I do not know if that is normal, but it was great for us. Saved the food in fridge too.
