Excellent service by Runyon technician! Allen was very professional, called ahead, upon arrival knew what issue was, quickly did repair, explained work done. Really a wonderful experience. (I was so worried would need to replace my GE Profile appliance due to age.) So nice to know quality repair services exist in our area! Will use again!

In today’s world it seems that good customer service is harder and harder to come by. Well my faith has been restored through my experience with Runyon Appliance. They were quick, on time, very respectful and took care of our issues right away. Our technician was a very nice gentleman named Allen. He seemed very knowledgeable and so very polite! I felt compelled to come on here and give this company a big thank you for caring about their customers. I highly recommend them and their phone number is now permanently in my phone’s contact list! Good job!

Allen was our tech today and he provided us with excellent service! He gave us a heads up call when he was nearby which we appreciated. Once he got to work, he worked quickly and efficiently and really seemed knowledgeable on what he was doing. Allen was able to clearly communicate what he was doing with us and gave us some helpful tips and advice. Having someone in your home can be a bit uncomfortable, but Allen made us feel completely at ease. We have already scheduled our next visit with Allen! 10/10 would recommend Allen and Runyon Appliance!

Our home warranty company assigned Runyon Appliance to replace our ice maker. The repair man, Allen, was not only on time, but early. Extremely professional. He installed a new ice maker, quickly without any trouble. He also called the next day to make sure all was working well. He did a great job. If you are going to use Runyon, I highly recommend that you ask to have Allen.

My ice maker would not work.Runyon sent out a older tech who diagnosed the problem and he was fantastic. He had to order the part.Then the part came in and the tech that came to install was a young man named Chandler. He was also fantastic and both were very professional.If I ever need appliance repair it will be Runyon. Also the lady that I talked to on the phone was very pleasant and helpful. In my mind Runyon Appliance is the best out there. Thank you Runyon Appliance!!!!

We had Allen who came to repair our Whirlpool Fridge/Freezer. He arrived very nicely on time, Allen was very professional, very efficient in the way he worked, he explained everything he was doing and why in detail to both of us. Runyon Appliances was assigned to me through my home warranty, One Guard, to repair my dryer that was not heating. I was given a timeframe of 1-5pm. Tony called in advance and was at my house by 1:05. He had the part for the repair and was finished in 15 minutes. I was a bit nervous after reading negative reviews, but I am very pleased with my experience. Even when I called to make my appointment, my phone service kept cutting out but instead of just hanging up on me, the representative went above and beyond to text my phone to verify the appointment. We were referred to this company by our home warranty provider. We had plugged drain in the freezer causing water to leak out the front during defrost cycles. A young man by name Chandler showed up on time, was very professional and respectful. He correctly diagnosed the problem and fixed it in a short amount of time. Runyon Appliance came out for a home warranty call to fix my icemaker. They saw the problem right away and came back when the part came in. They fixed it quickly with no problems. They do have some problems with their telephone system; I spend 20 minutes at a time trying to get through to schedule their return, only to get disconnected. But when they did come out to do the repair, they made it simple.

Date of service was out along way, then I cancelled because of a funeral, and as we were leaving the technician came. I called to reschedule and was put on a cancellation list, I called back for an appointment date and was told 8-12, no one came by noon so I called and was told no time was 12-5. Our home warranty company assigned Runyon Appliance to come out and repair our dryer which was making lots of noise. They called on the scheduled day and asked if they could come earlier than they were scheduled. Of course, we said "yes". The repairman, Chandler, called when he was 10 minutes away so we were ready. He took about 5 minutes and diagnosed the problem. He had the tools and parts to repair it and was done quickly. He ran it for us to show us how quiet it ran now. Very impressed with his courteous and professional demeanor and quick repair.

I dont know who to blame but I do know that Runyon has not been keeping me informed. Service was originally requested via our home warranty on 12/2/21. Tech diagnoses issue and its the board. I make phone call into Runyon because I had not heard from them and find out they are waiting on the part. Tech comes back unannounced (I did receive a text from tech about 10 minutes out but no scheduling) and its the wrong board, supposedly mislabeled and Runyon will have to go back to the home warranty company for the correct part. Today, 2/22/2022, I called Runyon because I have not been contacted by Runyon nor home warranty company to find out Runyon is still waiting on part. I call home warranty company and they just received the part submission 15 minutes before my phone call. This could be a re-request or original request. In closing this might not be Runyon's fault but for me to be completely in the dark the entire time is Runyon's failure. Coming on 3 months with a broken microwave...whats the point anymore? Edit 9/8/22 I am starting to think its the home warranty company. These warranty companies (not the vendor, not Runyon) are just bad news. Super difficult and its in their interest not to payout. Each call to the warranty comp is a wait of 30 to 60 minutes.

My LG washing machine was down again so I called the LG service center to have one of their technicians come out to repair it. They were booked for a month out, so they gave me the name of Runyon Appliance. I called and had an appointment within the week..... thank goodness as it's frustrating to be without a washing machine for too long, dirty laundry seems to accumulate faster when my washer is down. My service day arrived and Nick the service technician called to say he had a cancellation and could come earlier then expected..... it was my lucky day! I found Nick to be delightful, knowledgable, polite and professional. Unfortunately he didn't have the part we needed on his truck, but left to get the part and was back in no time to complete the repair. My washing machine is up and running again and clothes are once again happy. Runyon Appliance is my new favorite company. I highly recommend their A+++ service and I love that they are locally family owned and operated, which I always prefer to support.

Great service, professional, on-time, knowledgeable, courteous and efficient ! Our microwave broke and we had a warranty through Lowes in which they assign an electrician to handle the problem. Runyon came out, verified the part that needed to be ordered and then came back a week later to install the part. Works like new. The only downside is the wait time when trying to contact their scheduling office. (over 20 minutes each time). Other than that we are very happy with the repair. Thank you!

They’re very good, technicians are super friendly and come between the times they have scheduled. I think their front desk/reception and that follow through could improve a bit. I was told that someone would call me back, did not get a call, and then when I called the next day I was put on hold then someone hung up on me. I feel like I’m always the one who has to initiate and there’s not a lot of two-way communication. I still would definitely recommend though, great local biz!

I had a horrible 7 week stint with no fridge after my home warranty company originally partnered me with a totally inept company. After the originally terrible company bumbled through a non successful series of repairs, they sent Runyon out. Even though it took a bit of time to get the part after the initial service call, the tech that did come out to do my repairs was timely, communicative, and even took time on his day off to come out and complete the work as he knew how long I had been without my refrigerator. I was so grateful for his kindness and the work he did finally has me up and running again!

We were disappointed that our part would take 2 to 3 days to get but were even more dissatisfied that they did not put us on the schedule for the day after it arrived. We first had them out on Friday 2/24 and didn't get the microwave fixed until Fri. 3/6/20. They also scratch our fairly new painted wall in our kitchen. It really was a two man job and they didn't even bring a step stool. Just felt it could of been handled better.

I really like the technician he was friendly and honest. When they had to come back a second time there was no extra charge and they always showed up when they said they would, even on Saturday. The technician was literally at my home less than 1/2 hour each time. he seemed to be very knowledgeable about my appliance, ordered the parts, replaced them and cleaned up his mess. It was hard to schedule because of my work schedule, but the office staff were very patient and made sure that I got an appointment that worked.

Our nine-year-old LG microwave stopped heating food. I suspected the magnetron, which has a ten-year warranty. LG website showed Runyon's as being an approved warranty repair vendor-but they weren't. I took the oven in and they told me it can take LG a long time to pay them for work, so they quit covering their warranty items. I live in Central Phoenix, about two miles from Runyon's and the only other LG repair places were far away, like Cave Creek and Tolleson. I didn't want to spend an entire day hustling the oven around, so I asked him how much it would cost to repair, and he quoted me a price in the low $100's to look at it and diagnose. "Do it." They called the next day and it was fixed. Reinstalled and working fine for about $135. Now to chase down LG and get them to refund that to me. Overall excellent work; I was very pleased. (When I bought my house in '97 they were in a different location, a few blocks away, and I bought a used washer and dryer from them, both of which worked well for many years until we remodeled and bought a shiny new set.)

I have Assurion for my appliances and this company was great. They got me scheduled when I wanted (morning), Tony was on time and very polite. He determined my ice maker was defective, got a new one ordered, and because it's a specialty irmtem it would take a few days. He told me to call in 2 days to set up a follow up install and I did. He came back the next week and everything is perfect!

The service technician was great. He quickly determined the problem and replaced my ice maker. I did have an issue with communications though. I called the day before I was scheduled for service to verify that I was on the calendar between 8:00 am and 12. The technician did not show up during the time frame, so I called your office and was told that I was scheduled between 1:00 on and 4 or 5... When I told the person who answered that I had verified the time yesterday, she said someone gave me the wrong information because I was always on the calendar for the afternoon....the technician arrived very soon after my phone call. I don't have a problem if the tech was running behind, I do have a problem with people changing the facts on the fly.... I was very pleased with the service, and that outweighs the poor communication.

The only issue I had was that there was never any questions when service was ordered. A simple call to me with a couple questions would have allowed me to give the model number and /or part number needed. Since that wasn't done a return trip was needed causing me to have to take 2 afternoons off work. When I inquired about it I was told " if you had the part number you should have offered it". Good customer service should be proactive not reactive. I was happy with the job when completed just frustrated with having to be off 2 different days.

They were great. They went above and beyond. We have heard some crazy stuff about home warranties and that's why they were called out to the house. Our dishwasher flooded the kitchen. (Enough to call someone). He came by checked and fixed everything. Thankfully it was something simple. Our door wasn't closing correctly and it took a lot of force to get it shut. Because the warranty only covers "none working items" the door was not covered. But he adjusted it for us anyways to where is closes normally. They were great for our first experience with using our home warranty. Thanks!

Runyon Appliances came out to fix our refrigerator; we had submitted a claim from our home warranty company. Within minutes of submitting the claim, I got a call from Runyon Appliances to schedule an appointment. The day before the appointment I got an email to confirm that we would be home during the time of the repair; they gave a 3 hour window of when they would be there. The day of the repair they came within that 3 hour window, diagnosed the problem less than a minute after looking at the refrigerator and had everything fixed within 20-25 minutes. Very professional and thorough. Would highly recommend them.

We had another company come out twice for the same issue and said there was nothing they can do about the noise the fridge was making. According to them, there wasn't a mechanical issue, therefore they couldn't do anything! They spent about 10 minutes the first time they came out and less than 3 minutes the 2nd time. We finally had Runyon Appliance out, and they spent more time to evaluate the issue. Although we didn't have a mechanical fail, they were able to fix the noise issue with the refrigerator. No PARTS NEEDED! I would highly recommend them. This is the 2nd time they have been to my home (sent by our home warranty company) and I will request them every time if I could. You are IN GOOD HANDS with Runyon Appliance.

I was originally supposed to use Appliance Resource and Rescue. That is who American Home Shield has their customers use. After weeks of no answers from them I was told to use Runyon's Appliance. Runyon's came out and fixed my fridge in 30 minutes. Great service, and the technician Steve was Amazing and friendly. Would definitely use them again, and will refer friends and family to them.

I had a problem with my refrigerator a few years back, the company that came out to fix it gave me a list of parts that were needed that was a page long and it would have been less expensive to purchase a new refrigerator. I then hired another company to look at it and it ended up needing a $40.00 part. Needless to say, I was a bit apprehensive hiring someone when my icemaker broke. However, these guys were very professional. They had the icemaker fixed in minutes once they received the part. My washing machine was making excessive noise on fast spin and I wanted it checked out for motor or mechanical problems. Runyan Appliance was assigned from my warranty service -- One Guard Home Warranties. The Runyan technician, Allen, arrived as scheduled and did a thorough inspection of the machine through all wash/spin cycles in order to detect potential motor/mechanical ware. As it turned out, the noise was due to motor vibration and not anything mechanical (Allen figured it out rather quickly) -- which was good news!!!!!! I certainly didn't want to have to replace a motor or bearing. Allen showed me the source of the noise and I asked if I could externally secure/buffer the motor to potentially alleviate the vibration. He said it could possibly work which is what I did. The washer makes no more excessive noise and the vibration is minimal. Allen was courteous, polite, friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. I am VERY pleased with Runyan Appliance and would recommend to anyone!!!!!!
