This was the absolute best service I have ever received. They gave me times to cutoff I was nervous I had to wait long, but they were there early! They immediately got to work and solved the problem in less than 5 minutes, my dryer works amazing. They were very thorough and didn’t overcharge, they helped me understand everything. I had a really positive experience with this business today and I'm so grateful for their help. My refrigerator hasn't been working properly for over a month - it hadn't been staying at the proper temperature for food safety and that has been really stressful because I have 3 kids in the household and I've had to use other methods to be safe. On top of that, my washing machine suddenly stopped working last night. I was 100% stressed out and needed immediate help. This business found time on a day when they were already very busy to fit me into their schedule. They quickly assessed the problem with the fridge and the washing machine and didn't try to exaggerate the mechanical problems or bloat the prices. The technician was extremely friendly and explained everything to me (and I know nothing about these machines) and had all of the necessary parts on hand, and completed the work quickly and efficiently. He provided a price that was significantly lower than I expected to pay. I'm keeping the number to be able to use this service again in the future, and I highly recommend them for honest, affordable, fair work.

I called and received a call back immediately and they fit me into their schedule immediately. I was shocked how quickly they arrived even before the time I was given. Tim was excellent and a stand up guy, he figured out what was wrong and was able to fix my dryer within 30 minutes. He treated my home like his home and cleaned up very well after the repair. I got lucky when I called Manton Service for service on a faulty ice maker. They responded almost immediately. They had just finished a service call near me and made an adjustment in their schedule to make me their next stop. No mess, all professional, they determined the problem and suggested a replacement. Unlike other service people the part was in their truck and was in my freezer in 45 minutes. you can rely on these guys and their obvious years of experience. If you want to feel confident selecting service people, have them come to your home. Also they're friendly.

EXCEPTIONAL QUALITY WORK!! Over the past thirty years, Jim Manton has serviced the appliances in my home. I recently was having an issue with my dryer and was unable to get in contact with them as they were on vacation. I looked on line for another appliance service who came out and removed all the parts from my dryer and was to return the next day leaving the dryer as is. I felt uncomfortable with this appliance company and asked that they not return to finish the job. I once again tried calling Manton Appliance and luckily they were back from vacation. They came out the following day. I explained the situation to Tim and he replaced all the parts to my dryer correctly without hesitation and found that the problem was something as simple as lint that was blocked at the hood outside of the house. Needless to say, next time I would wait until Manton appliance is available for service instead of being impatient. It would have saved me time, aggravation and especially the extra expense incurred.

Today I use Manton Appliance Service for my GE washer, Tim and Jim both came on time were both very professional. They checked my washer and went over the issue clearly. They gave their honest diagnoses of the issue. Overall the washer needs to be replaced. They were able to break loose frozen tub bearings to get though a few small loads until a new washer arrives. They left everything in place, the were very neat and respectful of the area. I will keep them as call to when I need help with my appliances service men. I will refer them to friends and family. Thank you Tim and Jim I would have given you 10 stars. PS: they only charged the very reasonable service call fee. I might mention out of 4 companies I called they were the only one that returned a call on the same day.

Exceptional service!!!! They went above and beyond and I would recommend them to family and friends We had a broken dryer and they ordered a new motor for the dryer only to find out our old motor needed new wires. Which they fix and took the whole dryer apart to clean. They order a new motor but ended up not charging for the motor and only charge us for fixing the old motor. Most people would just replace the motor and charge us for the motor and service!!! All in all the best services. I would surely be using them in them from now on.

The first time I called them, they quickly resolved an emergency fridge problem within an hour of the call, when Sears told me they would not be able to address for weeks. This is the second time I used the services of Manton Appliance Service. My gas stove's oven would not get hot so I made an appointment to have it looked at. Mr. Manton told me they would be out between 9:00 am - 12:00 pm and they arrived at 9:30. They quickly took my oven apart and saw that I needed a new igniter. They had the part in their truck so they replaced it, answered all of my questions and my oven is now working perfectly. They completed the work in about 30 - 40 minutes. About 2 years ago, they repaired my gas dryer which is still working great. We always go to Manton for all of our appliance services. We called this morning for our dryer that wasn't heating up and they were out here same day (masks on, very respectful). We have used them in the past for our washer and our refrigerator as well. Manton was schedule to arrive between 9:00/10:00 a.m. to repair my Kitchenaide Refrigerator...they arrived very close to 9:00 a.m. Because they were not able to make the repair, they were kind enough not to charge me the standard fee of $85 plus tax for coming out to determine the issue with the appliance. They checked the entire unit and determine it was something I need to get the manufacturer involved. I'm still trying to get a resolution to the problem, however, Manton has saved me time and money knowing the direction I have to take in order to find a resolution to my issue. We've used Manton Appliance Service for repairs to our dishwashers, washers, and dryers for over 20 years. They are prompt, reliable, and honest with fair pricing. I called yesterday for a service call for my 34-year-old washing machine. It was last repaired by Mr. Manton in 2001. I told my husband that I wouldn't buy a new washing machine without having Manton Appliance check our current one (heck, the last repair lasted 14 years!). Mr. Manton and Tim thoroughly inspected the machine and then informed me that it was time for the purchase of a new washing machine. I just have to say these are the guys you want to call when you need a appliance repair this is the second time I've used them they replaced a broken dryer belt for me and then today they replaced the drain pump in the my washing machine and it was a task it's one of those front loaders you have to take everything apart. They got here on time when they said they would be. Right-to-work knew what to do had the part on the truck took care of business very satisfied very professional very nice guys. I love it when small business does not let me down. This family business knows its business and does it well. I called for an appt and got one the same day. I was given a 2 hour window of time in which they would arrive and I received a courtesy call that they were on their way about 30 min into the window. The father and son were professional and courteous the entire time; identified the problem with my mom's refrigerator right away and told me how much the service would be. When they were done, they left the work area clean. I am very pleased with the work they did and will call them again in a heartbeat. I purposefully try to find good small businesses to purchase goods and services from. This is a good one. BTW...I just met these folks today. I am a real customer and this review was not planted. One week later... I called this business again for service on my oven. Once again I was very satisfied with the response time and the more importantly the service. Unfortunately the oven model I had needed to be partially dismantled for the service to be done but Manton had no problem doing so and completing the repair to my satisfaction. I'm very impressed with this small business.

DON'T CALL anybody except Manton Appliance Service. I have an issue with my dryer machine. It's not HOT. I checked everything and it looked good but not sure why the clothes in the dryer machine are still cold so I called Manton Appliance Service. A technician, Tim, came in the next day and did the diagnostic test, disassembled the parts and found out the gas valve solenoid coils were bad and need to be replaced. Tim did a great job. He cleaned out the lint and lubricated the moving parts as well. It didn't take to long for Tim to fix it and put the parts back. He knows what he's doing. After the job done, however, I didn't realize that the light is not ON when opening the door so I called the place back. In the next few hours, Tim came back and replaced the new light bulb for free. I thought he'd never came back. I would definitely call him back if one of my appliances are not working properly. It's a 90 day guarantee - parts and labor. Thanks Tim.

Outstanding professionalism, I had a refrigerator that was dripping water all over my kitchen from the freezer. It's an old fridge and I expected to pay $800 for a new one. I called 2 other high rated appliance service companies first, left a message and no curtsey to return phone call. At the end of the day I called Manton, left a message and Jim returned my phone call and said he could be there the next day like a true professional. When we met, he said the fridge is still good, just the evaporator fan had to be replaced; he flushed the drain, and took out all of the ice out that was in the freezer.
