These guys are great! When I went in to buy a washer & dryer, they were super helpful - they asked what I needed, what my budget was, and didn't try to push more expensive items on me. The delivery was quick and smooth and they made sure to check all of the different wash/dry cycles in front of me to make sure everything worked. Plus, it comes with a 90-day warranty included. Highly recommend!

A Peace of Mind really helped me out in a pinch. As a young adult working two jobs, I barely have enough time to take care of myself at the end of the day. When my dryer went out on me, I had no idea where to even start. I called A Peace of Mind - and everyone from Becky to John were so incredibly helpful! The entire process was insanely quick. I think I called on a Monday and was notified around 2pm the next day that they could come and install it - wow! Hauled away my older dryer and carried in the new one - installed it - just everything was so easy. I'm so incredibly grateful for everyone who helped me out and cannot recommend this place enough. We've purchased from A Peace of Mind before when we needed a new refrigerator. This time, Tuesday morning, it was a dryer we needed. At the sale price, we chose to get a new washer also. Got everything worked out and planned delivery for today.. The storms that came through on Tuesday caused a tree in our front yard to fall... On our car! So no need to say how the weeks been going. The box truck pulls up, I'm getting the dogs put away and go outside to meet them. LORENZO was like a gush of fresh air!! Smiling, happy, ready to help! His attitude changed mine. I waited to write this review. I bought a washer and dryer about eight months ago. I haven’t had one problem out them. They delivered my equipment on the day they told me. My machines have worked perfectly since then. I would recommend and buy again. They didn’t sell me any junk. Update. It’s been over a year now. Both machines are still working.

I live on the second floor of an apartment building with some rough stairs. The delivery man and his son hauled a washer and dryer up those stairs no problem(or at least made it look effortless). And when my washer broke and flooded my apartment,they came back and offered multiple solutions to fix the problem. All in all,they were super friendly and very professional. I highly recommend their services.

Just moved to Nashville from 1000 miles away and needed a washer/dryer fast. Got a great matching set, probably just a couple years old, with a few scratches, for about half of what I would have paid for brand new ones. And they work perfectly! Inventory was kind of limited when we got to the store, because apparently that's true of everything these days. But, Becky was super-helpful and honest about what they had in-stock. I doubt we'll need it, but the 90 day warranty is a nice bonus. 100% I'd recommend going to A Peace of Mind before you go anywhere else!

The owner and staff here go above and beyond expectations!! They are very straight forward and efficient with their process. We thought our washer was leaking and called for one of their service techs to come out here. The owner himself came over to check things out for us and realized it’s the house’s piping issues. The real kicker… …I bought a fridge off of them and had also recently bought a washer/dryer that had the wrong kind of plug to fit my outlet. On a whim I asked Paul if swapping the plug and the wire was a big deal. To my surprise he offered to swap it for me then and there for no charge. Wasn’t even something I had bought off of him. CAN’T RECOMMEND STRONGLY ENOUGH!

Don't be alarmed, he's a sweetie. :) I let them know what price point I was aiming for and they showed me a washer and dryer with delivery, set up, taxes etc for under $600. They're in great shape and I think it will last me many years. If not, I am confident they will be happy to see what the issue is. They reassured me several times that if something goes wrong to please reach out. Very happy with my experience and I'm glad I drove up from Antioch. Sure there were closer used appliance stores but based on the reviews I knew this was the place for me.

July 2021 Original Review: I just moved into a rental home and needed to purchase a washer and dryer set. My landlord recommended A Peace of Mind. Their prices were very reasonable and the units were in great functional condition - there were some external dings and dents, nothing unexpected with used appliances. They were very friendly over the phone, in the shop, and at home. Their delivery and installation was great and quick. Paul provided tips for the models we purchased should we ever have issues. I will definitely check with APoM next time I'm looking for appliances or appliance maintenance. April 2022 Update: The washing machine we purchased had an issue so I called APoMA for a service call to look at a repair. Someone was at my house within 48 hours. They went above and beyond to help us out and resolve the issue. Everyone I spoke to and/or came to look at the machine were friendly and professional (Vicki, Paul, Lorenzo to name a few). This is a great shop for sure and they care about their customers.

I had a great experience with A Peace of Mind. Walked into the store and was immediately greeted and assisted. Plenty of options W/D options for those on a budget and those less so. They were very helpful in assisting me select the best options in the price range I wanted. Prices are very reasonable. They deliver as well. My W/D were delivered by Paul, the owner of the business, who worked very late into the evening to get my W/D to me the day I expected to. He installed it himself and gave helpful advice on things to look out for. He was very nice and easy to work with. The store gives you a 90 day warranty on the appliances you buy and they will come out and fix any issue you have within that time for free. After hooking everything up, Paul showed me that everything worked which was appreciated. I am running my first load of laundry while writing this review and everything is running smoothly :). I highly recommend A Peace of Mind Appliances. I would easily do business with them again.

I wish we’d have visited and purchased our washer and dryer from Peace of Mind first before going through a monthlong headache with TNT (not wanting to badmouth another business on this review, but our experience with them was terrible and when it comes to this sort of thing, I always appreciate helpful transparency). I can’t begin to describe what a relief this experience was. Everyone I encountered from beginning to end—-on the phone, in the store and at our home during installation—was completely candid, honest, informative, helpful, courteous, friendly and truly took their time to help me make an informed decision. They also clearly take their time working on their appliances before putting them on the floor. The owner immediately told me everything he’d done on the washer and dryer I ended up buying. They also delivered just a few days later—much quicker than just about anyplace else. We’ve had our washer and dryer for a few weeks now and they work great, which is all we wanted and need! We wanted to save money & be a bit more eco friendly by purchasing used, but didn’t feel comfortable buying off Facebook marketplace, etc. — you never know what you’re gonna get there and, while used appliances are always a bit of a gamble, with a used appliance store, we figured we’d have at least some extra security. But THIS PLACE is everything you want that sort of experience to be. Very appropriately named. Thank you for our great appliances and the great service.

Paul and his wife have been very helpful to me when I was doing minor repairs to my washer and dryer. Eventually I hit a wall and needed to replace the washer, and they had a great selection of well-priced used appliances that met our needs. We've had our "new" washer for a couple of weeks now and it works exceptionally well. Much quieter than our old washer.

"A Piece of Mind" is exactly what Paul provided! I needed a washer and dryer and had the slightest clue on which brand to purchase. Paul is such a great guy! I came in with my family and told him we were needing a new stove. We walked us through a couple of different ones and gave us a great price because we were struggling and havent had an oven for a while. Well, there ended up being an issue with the one we got from him. These things happen, we understand they are preused and he offers a warranty. So we call him and he sends a guy out to replace it at no extra cost! And we live about 30 minutes from the store! We had just moved into a rental that had no washer and dryer, my grandpa looked up some used appliance stores and thought Peace of Mind looked like a good one! Boy was he right. They helped us find the perfect one in OUR price range, gave us helpful tips, and wanted what was best for us. As two young kids we greatly appreciated that! We already had a u-haul, Paul loaded it up for us and off we went. My dad was with us and hooked it up, and the first load put water everywhere, right out the bottom. We called, Paul and one of his employees came and turns out it was our fault and the bin just wasn't sitting right. But they stayed so long to be sure that everything was good to go, replaced a part that didn't look perfect, and greased it up. We couldn't have asked for better service and are so thankful!

Paul, the owner of A Piece of Mind, went above and beyond for our dryer issues! We bought a Whirlpool from his store last year. Not long after it was installed, the unit wasn't drying our clothes, no matter what size the load. We've been running 2 to 3 cycles every time we've done laundry! We had our apartment carpet service come out twice to flush out the lent buildup in the walls, they even showed me a handful of what they unclogged one of the times. Well, nothing changed, our dryer was still working horribly. Fast forward to today. I called up the store about the issue still being found. So, Paul told me he would come out to take a look at the situation, even though it was way out of warranty at this point, convinced the wall was still backed up with lent. Sure enough he showed, and revealed our vent to my gf, which was not even flushed out! So, it hasn't been the dryer not working, it's still that THE WALL IS STILL BACKED UP WITH LENT! Turns out they flushed out SOMEONE ELSE'S wall, like what the hell?! Paul came all the way to our place just to show us the wall is still full of lent and didn't charge us a dime for it! I feel bad he came all this way just to confirm what he already knew with us, but I am so grateful that he did come check everything out for free. Paul has such a good heart and really cares about his customers, just be nice to him. You won't regret purchasing from his shop, and you'll sure as hell appreciate his hospitality and drive to see his customers 100% happy and satisfied. So, Paul, I'm sorry again for your trouble, but I really appreciate you working with us! And you can be sure I'll be giving the carpet service company an earful real soon.

His friend delivered to my house in Joelton for cheap, and it turned out to be a big job (taking doors off the fridge etc) to get it all inside. He didn't bat an eye! Paul was just about the nicest person we could talk to. He was extremely knowledgeable about his machines and made sure we knew exactly what we were getting. He gave his personal opinion in a non-pushy way and worked with us on the price. He even delivered and installed in Franklin, where he gave some sound advice on our already purchased and installed dryer. The washing machine we purchased was very clean -- normally I would rinse it like crazy with vinegar and bleach, but there was no need. We would definitely return here for any other appliances and highly encourage others to do the same!

Exemplary customer service. Paul (the owner) walked me through each model himself and showed me pictures of the process of how they restore and refurbish each one. He's a hardworking man who is passionate about his business and takes customer satisfaction very seriously. He answered all my questions and made good recommendations about what to look for in used washers and dryers. But what struck me the most is how he spoke highly of his direct competition (TNT Appliances and DT's Used Appliances). I was blown away by the height of his character and customer service. Ultimately didn't end up needing a washer and dryer after all but I would highly highly recommend this place and will go to them again if I need used appliances.

This place was awesome! My husband and I were expecting our first baby had just bought our first home - the house had absolutely no appliances in it, whatsoever. The owner, Paul, was extremely helpful and very personable. I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with Peace of Mind Appliances. I bought a reasonably priced washer and dryer set from them a few months ago, and Paul delivered the set in a timely manner. He made sure to demonstrate that both appliances were working before he left. Yesterday, my dryer had some problems, so I gave them a call. Even though I was a few days past the complimentary 90 day warranty, Paul came out today to fix the issue with my dryer, free of charge. He even showed me how to fix the issue myself in the future. I will definitely do business with them again!

After researching several different retail stores for a new dishwasher and stove, I was concerned at how high the cost was. I had a budget. I decided to purchase some "good used" appliances, if there even was such a thing as "good" used appliances. I was hesitant but when I saw the great quality their appliances were and so clean like new, plus they provided warranties, I was relieved. I purchased a dishwasher and stove and both look brand new. I saved $700 by purchasing from them rather than retail and I am very pleased. Both appliances work great and they were so friendly to work with. In my situation I really wanted them to be delivered that same day. They went out of their way to accommodate me. I was very impressed. I recommend them to anyone who is looking for good used appliances.

We recently stopped while moving to a new apartment that did not provide a washer/dryer. We didn't have a dryer to picked one up with my brothers truck who was in town from two states away. Long story short the dryer did not work... It would not heat so I expected the worst. However, after calling and describing my issue i was put directly in contact with the owner who personally came out to work on the machine without charge and apologize as these things occasionally happen. I am a touring musician and they worked around my schedule to fix the dryer i purchased without charging me. Very respectful people and good people who see the value in earning your business. 5 Stars!

This is the best used appliance store around. They have a great selection of items in different age and price levels. After considering my requirements (accomodates a large comforter) and price limitations, Camille pointed out a dryer much newer and nicer than I expected, well within my price range. Supposedly a little indicator light did not work. Who cares about a little light. I bought the dryer without even looking at another one. Paul delivered the dryer on time and installed it.
