The preventive maintenance calls have extended the life of my HVAC/water systems. If you own a home, you need HSP. I've been a customer for 14 years now, and HSP has saved me thousands in out of pocket repair costs. Nothing beats having the peace of mind that comes with knowing that if any of you major appliances stop working, HSP will be there to fix it for free.

Called Thursday night to report A/C not working. Tech arrived Friday morning, replaced blown capacitor, and everything was back to normal. I'm no great fan of large service organisations (preferring small independents) but I can't fault CPE and will stick with their Home Service Plus plan.

Today Steve (Technician 6346) came out and fixed my dishwasher. This was the 3rd service call from HSP and Steve was finally able to figure out and fix the problem. I am thrilled to finally have a working dishwasher since this has been ongoing since May. Steve was courteous and professional and even ordered me new dishwasher racks. I have had HSP for about 25 years now and other than long wait times for repair, I would recommend. Thanks Steve!!!

I have been home service plus users for a while and really enjoyed the service. I am very happy to meet a female engineer Martha for the first time using the service. She is on time, professional. Excellent services from HSP. My 17 years old refrigerator stopped working, I placed a service call to HSP and got an appointment the next day. The technician determined the issue not worthy for repair due to the age of the refrigerator. Since I have the replacement plan with HSP, the refrigerator can be replaced and being reimbursed up to $850 by HSP. I have this plan for several years and it does pay off.

They sent a technician out Josh, he was great. He explained everything clearly and took care of the broiler right away. When they came out right away and ordered the parts I needed to keep my broiler together. It was Great comfort to know it wasn't dying and we just needed to get the air out the pipes and need to find a plumber to do that. Wish they did it so it could of been done but everyone has their specialty.
UPDATE:
They were wrong. I needed a new broiler. Two days later we started having real issues. Had to find someone that actually works on broilers on a daily to figure out what was really going on. Thanks for trying Center point.

I contacted in October for my annual furnace tune up. The earliest they had was this week! Tyler the technician was polite, thorough. He gets a 5! But the wait time gets a 2! Glad this got done before the cold snap hits this weekend! I had my vents cleaned months ago. Good job there, too.

I would agree to be in a commercial for HSP if offered. In the 7+ years we have been in our circa 1952 home, this has been the single best decision we have ever made. For roughly $35 per month, we have had ultimate peace of mind. We have used this service 2-3 times per year, on average, so it has more than paid for itself. They have even come out on service calls when they weren't sure whether they would be able to do anything to address the issue. Their technicians have always been prompt, responsive, neat and personable - never has one of them attempted to charge us for something or suggest an unnecessary (chargeable) service. We have had issues with multiple appliances at multiple points in the year (furnace out, dryer on the fritz, oven displaying alien error code, water heater that gave up the ghost, AC making an ungodly noise), and they have always responded with the utmost timeliness and professionalism. Technicians have been knowledgeable and efficient, and parts have been ordered and delivered promptly. We even had a furnace repair on Christmas Eve one year (and we were so grateful, we would have served that tech a glass of wine and healthy slice of tenderloin if he had had time to stay).
We are a professional family who juggle many commitments and obligations. This has always been the best money we have spent, even before we had the money to spend.

My furnace went out and after calling I waited all day and well into the night before they were able to get here. They were very busy and my serviceman was putting in 12-14 hours in order to handle all of his calls. He made a temp repair but stated that he had to order some parts and then they would come back and finish the job. After the parts arrived I called to set up a new appointment. Because of the amount of service they were handling I had to wait three or four days. In the meantime the furnace went out again. Within an hour of my call back to them about this I had received two great little space heaters the kept my townhouse comfortable until they came. I requested a morning service as I work afternoons and evenings and although they couldn't promise they were able to arrive in the morning. Within an hour after his arriving the furnace was running again. The servicemen that Service Plus have know what their doing and do their job well. I have been carrying the service plus plan for about 30 years and they have helped me several times with problems. I would not be without it.

I’ve had pretty good service with CenterPoint service. Originally I signed up because of problems with a recurring defective part on my furnace. They resolved that with a different part. Recently I called about my dryer. It took a few days to get an appointment, but the repairman found the problem. He left to get parts and returned within 2 hours.
I have had poor luck with air conditioning service. Over many years, I called twice. Both times they told me I needed a new air conditioner, but they still added Freon which helped for the short term.

Heater went out. Called in the morning, all they had was an all day/ night appt. The tech was out within the hour and had the heater fixed and back up and running in a 1/2 hour. Tech 8308 was professional, courteous and so quick! So worth the money. Thank you!

This representative was one of the very best that I've ever had. He was very thorough and knew what needed to be done.
Just wish I didn't have to wait so long for the reps to come; but he was on time after the call. Didn't get his name, but would want him again the next time. He cleaned the dryer duct and that is the first time that any rep has done that.

I've had mostly good experiences but one very bad experience with HSP, hence my three star rating. I have used the service for several years on multiple rental properties.
The techs seem knowledgeable and competent, but the scheduling is inconvenient. I recently had an 8 hour window that was missed due to an emergency. I understand emergencies arise, but it seems that if you require an 8 hour window, that should account for emergencies. After the missed appointment I called back to request a shorter window for the reschedule.
The call center staff was polite, but they said that 8 hours was the best they could do. Twice the call center staff forwarded my name to their customer service department and said someone would contact me--nobody did. A third time, I was successful in reaching a supervisor. The supervisor said a 4 hour window was the best he could do. I understand that may be their policy, but after wasting my day, I felt they should be more responsive to my needs.
I suppose if you use a service long enough, you are bound to have a bad experience. That said, I will be looking for a different company for my future needs.

I would say 95% of the time the repair technicians who have visited my house have been very helpful. Most of them are tenacious, friendly, and are patient in explaining to me the problem, and what needs to be done. I unfortunately have had many visits to my home due to old appliances. This service has made it affordable to keep everything in my home in working condition.

We had a time slot of 1-5pm, but the technician wasn't able to come out until 9:15pm due to a homeowner who failed to turn off their gas to switch out a dryer. Anyways, Sergio was very nice, and apologized for such a late arrival. He checked everything on our a/c unit, explained what was wrong with it to my husband. He was the second technician, as it was too cool out for the first tech to determine the life of the a/c unit before. If I didn't have the Service Plus plan, it would've been $300 for 2 visits. Love the CP Service Plus! The technicians (4 so far have come out for other issues) are very nice, and respectable.
Update: Their call service is poor. I have a problem with my water heater leaking the day after my a/c and furnace were installed and they kept "trying" to connect me to someone else. I called twice, got forwarded to no one the first time (4 rings, and then a disconnect) and then another forward (automated voice announcing they were closed on the weekends). How does your call center not realize certain services are not available on the weekends? What a waste to be on hold and not getting anywhere.. TWICE!

The technician was a pleasant person and he repaired my washer. This service however, ORIGINALLY promised a 4 hour window and ended up a NINE hour window.
For something that is an annual cost of more than the service call would have costed as they billed - I'm not entirely certain this service plan is benificial.

I called as soon as I got the email to remind me to have our furnace and fireplace tuned up for winter, I was able to get in the same day, which is pretty unusual. Nice technician and did a good job. Your technician fixed my dryer and my ice maker. He was awesome. The part that was not was the fact I needed to take the day off of work with out pay to have him show up after 7pm. There has got to be a way when you schedule mornings or afternoons. Waiting for 11 hours is nuts. Please correct this. I have more appointments scheduled and can not afford - literally - to take days off without pay!!

I'm always recommending this program to friends, and to people online who ask who they should call for appliance repair. I feel privileged to rate this company and give excellent feedback on it and their techs, their plan and their skills. They deserve it!
Without a doubt, this program is the best out there! I've talked with the techs about their backgrounds and training, and it's excellent. CenterPoint doesn't use contracted techs like at least one of the other home warrantee companies does. My understanding is that their techs are trained through a two year tech college and follow up with several years apprenticeship with the company. Their techs have always been knowledgeable and respectful of my home and of me, the customer. When I had a problem with the a/c, the tech had to wait for parts . . .over a holiday weekend. He worked for the better part of two days to repair my furnace, which had condensation leak into it from the a/c, and he confirmed that my a/c was in perfect working order before he left. They have changed a thermostat and repaired several appliances in my home, all at no extra cost. They don't just look for the one problem they've been called for, but make sure the entire appliance or unit is working to perfection before they are done. They are complete in their work and don't leave anything undone. Everyone has had great "people" skills and it's obvious they are proud of their job and their work. I am so glad I went with this program because it's given me true peace of mind.

I had a gas leak in my apartment. I had complained for 4 months about a gas smell that was making me sick. After trying to deal with the maintenance denial that they didn't smell it, my son suggested that I call center point. I called, a technician came right out and shut the gas off at the stove. I was so grateful. The technician was really friendly. This was this past Sunday night. After that my doctor wanted me to ask the fire department to follow up and make sure that everything was still alright. The fire department instead called center point to come out. That technician was very unfriendly and rude. Everyone I spoke with at center point were very nice.

The phone techs are wonderful however your 8 to appointment window is not ok. The last time I waited a full day for someone to call finally after 9:30 pm I was able to get someone to schedule me again 8to 8 next day because they say ran into a big job couldn't get to me. No apology no priority waited to almost 8 the next day. Hopefully I don't experience the same. By the way same Main drain problem.

Over the past couple of years I've used HSP several times. Their staff are exceptionally helpful and polite. Most recently, I had A/C problems during a heat wave. They were great to work with and had my A/C running in no time. The dispatcher who took my original call and the service technician were excellent and friendly. I would never be without HSP as a homeowner. I am a very satisfied customer!

It has been more than a month since my dishwasher has been running. Two cancelled appointments, (missed work for them), one visit that didn't fix the problem. I even called to check that they were not cancelling today and they said no and then did. Unbelievably bad service!!!
They came to help me when my furnace died and were incredible, totally the opposite experience that I had with my dishwasher. Very good service with furnace.

Made an appointment to have my ice maker replaced. The window of time was 8-4. Got a call around 3pm that the tech was going to be late. I had made dinner plans, so they sent a different tech. He was very nice, but didn't have a clue how to service the refrigerator. He agreed to return the next morning accompanied by another tech. They arrived and had a hell of a time removing a panel. Eventually they fixed it. I gave 3 stars because it took 3 service calls to get it fixed.

They did a good job in servicing our furnace. However, they forgot to put it in their system. And they should hire more employees in the winter so they can split shifts. Looked like a lot of them work 19 hours or more.

Chao did a great job on tuning up the furnace, however he also checked out our gas water heater, and since then, we can't keep the pilot light lit, so we've had COLD Water since his visit. our gas got interrupted and the company forgot to inform us. The tech relit the pilot on the water heater and two gas fireplaces. He also cleaned the fireplaces and checked for radon and gas leaks. He was on time, polite professional and clear about what he did. He also recommended eventual replacement of the trip switch on both fireplaces, but didn't try to upsell me. As usual the service through our Centerpoint repair plan was excellent and a great value.

Nobody enjoys having their furnace stop heating during s MN February. That said, Centerpoint was able to complete my service within 11 hrs of my call. They also delivered small space heaters to help in the meantime. The technician was very nice and efficient. My only possible issue was the item needing attention should be cleaned with annual tuneups which had been done 7 months prior. This particular visit was great, though.

I was kept very well informed about the timing of the serviceman's arrival (including an unexpected delay to respond to a gas emergency). Despite the delay, he still arrived within the stated window. He fixed my problem promptly, and was extremely pleasant to deal with. I've always been pleased with the service I've received from CenterPoint Service Plus, and I really appreciate not having to pay time-and-materials for the service I receive.

The call notifying me they were on their way came as promised, the tech arrived on schedule and then did a great job. He knew exactly what to look at, change and repair. He kept me informed as to what was happening. He worked efficiently and was very professional. Put everything back together and cleaned up when he was done. So happy I have service plus!

We had major clothes dryer problems. A few worn out parts needed replacing. I was wondering if they might condemn our dryer, and we are on the replacement plan, but Steve, our technician/repairman assessed it fixable with some replacement parts, some necessary to order. He got us up and running temporarily (with some tolerable noise still), but we really needed to do our wash, as scheduling is a challenge for the demand of work to techs/repairmen available. The parts came and we requested Steve to return, and he installed and repaired everything, with the dryer fully fixed. We are very happy with the service, having the parts covered in the plan, and the workmanship and help.

Everything changes in a pandemic. I had to wait 2 weeks for am appointment to fix my dryer. Wouldn't you know, it was some of the coldest weather of the Winter season. However, tech came out, diagnosed and fixed the issue within 90 min. Cleaned up afterwards and informed me I saved $380 ona service call and repair by having Home Service Plus.

The technician arrived on time was knowledgeable and fixed the problem quickly. Downside it took 3 weeks to get the appointment. The Technician was pushing to purchase a new dryer before even looking at the dryer, simply because of it's age. It was easily repairable and was fixed quickly.

I would like to commend Center Point for their rapid, professional and kind response to a recent situation I had in my home, needing evaluation and repairs to my broken furnace. I called Center Point in the early morning, and was taken care of immediately by customer service, who sent a service employee to my house before 8am. He quickly determined was went wrong with my furnace, and was very informative, competent as well as answered all of my questions/concerns. He ordered the part needed for the furnace, and gave me 2 space heaters to use while the part was being sent over. The part was delivered within 3 hours, and after making a quick call, the same employee and another coworker showed up quickly and spent 4 hours installing the part, and I had heat again.
I am extremely thankful for this amazing level of service, as we are in a time where we are all stuck in our homes due to the virus. My thanks to your organization and especially to the employees who helped me, Asres and Taylor.

I scheduled an appointment on one day and they never showed or i was not called . I had to call them just for them to say that they could not make it that day and would need to reschedule so i rescheduled for another appointment between the hours of 12-4 I had called them about 4 and they told me i was the next one on the list, i called back at 6 again to be told that i am still the next one on the list. Again i called at 8 p.m. and they said that they are still coming out. 10 p.m. the service man showed up just to say that he just got the order 10 minutes before getting there. The service guy was nice and went out of his way to help get the repair done. I think that you need to communicate better with your customers if they are running late because having to wait around for 10 hours was a bit much. I feel that you may need to hire more help to give the kind of service when you are promising a window of 4 hours.

A little over 24hours late. Hearing and feeling the central air back on is a huge relief. I couldn't do it with out a repair person so gratitude. Life always happens. I forgive you.

My dryer went out and I was pleased to find it was included in my basic service plus plan. Also the wide variety of times available to schedule service made it less stressful; no missing work needed! The technician gave me a half hour heads up and was prompt, professional and thorough. Repair completed and back to my day. This service is really a life saver for those like me who can't afford a big repair!

At first, I thought our water heater was leaking. We called immediately to have them come check it out. Even with the pandemic, they were at our house within the week and found that the problem was not our water heater, but our Furnace. They were able to order us a new part and came back the next week to install it for us. No more water on my laundry room floor! They were quick and professional!

I had HomeWorks come to my home and said the furnace and the AC both needed to be replaced for $8,500 - $11,500.
CenterPoint came out and fixed the AC in 20 minutes, and tested the furnace and found it was running fine.
This is easily worth what I pay for knowing that I’m not being taken advantage of, and that they want to fix your appliances.

This was my first experience with a Home Furnace Tuneup. My neighbor had recommened that I sign up for Center Point Home Service Plans and I don't regret doing that. The technician, Ryan, arrived in a timely manner and was very professional. The Sales Person, Jud, was also very professional and not "pushy" in trying to sell me a new furnace. My only problem is I am now waiting for the installers of the new furnace to contact me.

We live in a small rural MN town, and as of 6/2019 have used Service Plus for 20 years. Uniformly our technicians have been professional, courteous, and extremely helpful over that entire time period. Occasionally there are scheduling glitches, but nothing beyond what one would expect from a service that has to cover a large geographic area and in which the time to get to one location depends on what happens at another. The central dispatch process sometimes could use a little improvement (e.g. more timely notice when a tech is delayed, or more flexibility in scheduling-not all day but morning or afternoon), but the actual service has always been exemplary. And the two times we have had a furnace problem during the winter they have treated the issue as an emergency and with the appropriate urgency. My wife and I give this service our strong recommendation.

Had repair, needed part. Waited for part, scheduled tech. Tech wasn't sure how to use the new part, but figured it out. Needed to test, but water valve was stuck. Told tech to leave it and I would shut off the main. Tech agrees, but then later turned the valve, ruined it. Couldn't fully test the repairs because now I have to get a plumber to replace valve. To be fair, they did offer to pay for the repairs.

The person who came out was excellent! very knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything to me and my mother and very serious about his work. He was also quick and didn't leave anything out. Not even the discounts that would/ could help us if needed. His name was Sean. The next visit we have he will be requested again. Keep up the excellent work.

The technician arrived and completed our yearly inspection quickly and efficiently. When I mentioned a problem we had been having with the relief valve on our radiator system, even though it was at the end of the day, he spent time checking things out and decided he needed to come back another day to replace it. He did so and things appear to be working very well. He was very thorough and professional, and took the time to explain to me some aspects of my heating system and gave some tips on how I could monitor it. Very grateful for his help!

The technician came out early within the 12-hour window I was given, which I was so happy about because it was 9 degrees out and I had no heat. He took care of my problem quickly. He explained that I should have my furnace tuned up annually and told me when to set it up. He also took the time to answer my questions about my thermostat. I really appreciate his help.

Our furnace stopped working on the coldest day of the year. Panic obviously sets in and we were running the electric oven and space heaters around pipes to try and keep warm. We realized we were not alone in the metro area and patiently waited for an appointment. CenterPoint technician was on site within 27 hrs of call. His team were working mandatory 16 hr days trying to service everyone. He was a gem. Got the furnace running within 15 mins and monitored to make sure it would keep running. Gave good advice and was incredibly pleasant. He was our superhero that night. HSP is consistently the best investment I have ever made concerning our home.

We had HSP come out to check our range, after our CO detector went off. Our technician was courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. He arrived in the designated time frame. I thought they usually called when they're on their way from the previous appointment. We didn't receive a call, but it worked out alright anyway. The main thing was our technician knew what he was doing. He tested and monitored the test readings, and determined that our range was safe. Home Energy Service Plus definitely pays for itself. It is great to have the peace of mind during stressful situations like your furnace not working in sub zeros temps. I moved in to a new house a year ago and have used the service five times. The technicians are very professional, friendly and have followed COVID precautions every time. The other day it was 58* in my house when I woke up at 5am and could schedule the appointment from my bed on my phone. My furnace was up and running that same day. I recently got my ducts cleaned through HSP - service was quick and the crew did a great job communicating what they were doing and what they needed throughout the process. I would HIGHLY recommend HSP if peace of mind is important; HSP definitely takes the stress away from stressful situations all homeowners go through during the home owning experience.

After a conversation with the field supervisor, I'm glad I pay for the service. Their scheduling is quite booked out (over a week) which is a minor drawback, but this seems quite a bit less expensive than a repair plan with Sears for things like the refrigerator. The technician that serviced our refrigerator seem'd to have the magic touch in getting the ice maker to work again (I tried everything). He did the same as me and it worked. He was here for ~5 minutes. Showed up about mid way in the projected service window. The technician made concerning comments about older appliances and especially the news about Sears, implying they may not be able to get parts and I would essentially be without repair (though I'm paying for a repair plan). That's what prompted me to contact customer service. Within a couple days, they reached out to me and assured me I would not be without repair. They will coach the technicians better knowing this. All-in-all, I'll keep the service and call again should something break on one of the covered appliances.

He seemed ready to leave, and I had to request they be done. The monthly fee for these maintenance checks is expensive! The technician should be ready to take care of all the items!

About 15 minutes later, I got pre-recorded message letting us know he would be here in 30 minutes. He arrived right on time. I'm really glad I have HSP. My water heater went out and even with the high volume of furnace calls right now (it's the end of October in MN), a technician was at my house within two days. The technician called 30 mins before arrival, arrived before 9am and explained the issue I had after fixing it. He even showed me how to fix the issue myself if it happens again. 10/10 recommend this program with centerpoint. It saved me a few hundred dollars! (you don't have to have gas service from them to enroll in their coverage by the way).

So here's the deal. These guys and gals aren't Disney /slick /PR people. But, man......they do know their stuff and are looking out for you. I had a heavily advertised company tell me that my AC was gonna die within days if I didn't replace for $8,000. I called Center Point for a second opinion and they not only "fixed" a small adjustment....they tested and said with some more coolant I'd be fine! These guys will look out for you. Just be nice to them and don't be a jerk and you'll never regret it.

My furnace blower capacitor went out on an uncomfortably hot week. The schedule was very quick and easy. The technician, Luke was extremely professional, finding the issue and fixing it almost immediately. He ended up finding out that my furnaces blower motor was going bad, however it was still functioning. He drove back to his shop and brought back a new motor, installing within the hour as he thought the current one wouldn’t have lasted more then a few more months. He didn’t have to fix it but he chose to go the extra mile and it was greatly appreciated!

I have an expensive boiler, but it's 12 years old. Some of my appliances are even older. I thought that I better enroll in CenterPoint's (CP) Service Plus program before something needs repair or replacement. Good thing I did! The CP service professional came out for a routine service appointment and found a gas leak, which was fixed it in a very timely manner. The technician was friendly, knowledgeable, and arrived on time wearing a protective face mask. I was even offered space heaters while waiting overnight for the part to arrive. Thanks CP!

My furnace stopped providing heat overnight. Called Centerpoint about 6am and reported the problem and got in the line for assistance. I had a technician working on the furnace a couple of hours later. He identified the control board was as bad and put in an order for an other. It arrive in a couple of hours to my door. I called and had a young man putting in the board about 8pm that evening! He showed me the fried board and one of the plugs of the wiring harness was damaged by the high heat. He called in the wiring harness and restored my heart. The next day the wiring harness (complete) showed up at my door. I called and scheduled an appointment to have it put in. Monday morning before 8 am another technician arrived and an hour later he had rewired my furnace! Great responses from all hands. Superfast parts support and great responses from on site repair!🤩

I've had two different tech guys out. One came out for what I thought was a water heater leak. It turned out to be the pan that collects condensation from the AC. He straightened it out and unclogged the drain to fix the issue and then checked the furnace. The sensor had shorted out. Three appliances checked and serviced for one call! The second one was for the dishwasher. We didn't figure out what was wrong with that, but he checked it over carefully.

Our hot water heater went out 5 days ago. HSP was there the same day and diagnosed the issue...we needed replacement. It sounded like an easy situation...HSP had installed the current unit 10 years prior and we had 2 years left on the warranty. They scheduled a plumber to install the very next day. Turns out, there were some code changes that we would have been in violation of if they just plugged in the new unit. Of course this all happens when we hit the weekend. It’s a long story, but what seemed like would impossible turned into success after some creative thinking, brainstorming with the city inspector and good ‘ol elbow grease. This team is professional, responsive, knowledgeable, and compassionate and that includes the plumbers (etc.) they contract. We are repeatedly reminded of what a great deal this program is!

Our water usage was high for our last bill. We were told to have someone look at our hot water heater. Since that was covered under our HSP plan, we made an appointment. The very competent technician arrived from CenterPoint and gave us some very helpful information which we hope will take care of our problem. We were very pleased with this visit. Overall, having an HSP plan is expensive but worth it when needed. My only complaint is that two of our last three appointments the technician showed up several hours late. Each time we were forewarned by an HSP scheduler during our appointment time that they were running late due to a heavier than normal load and our tech would be multiple hours later than the latest time of our scheduled window. I think the problem is that they need to have more technicians. Just my opinon.

Great service, I’ve never had to use HSP before and was always curious why so many people pay a monthly fee for a service they might not use. Now I understand. The furnace was not working. It’s -15 and they came and serviced the furnace. A quick fix, flame sensor was not working. Problem solved the tech had a quick look through to see if anything else needed replacing.

Did the worked he was supposed to do and came back upstairs and told me everything was working fine and gave me the packet of what he had done. I have nothing but good things to say about HSP, and their technicians have helped my older appliances — the ones that came with the house I bought 13 years ago! — keep running smoothly.

Three out of four times they have failed to do a complete repair on our appliances. This time they could not find ignitors for our gas cooktop. Service tech said I could take it apart and go try and match up the part with a supply store. This isn't my job or why I pay for this service. Two prior times they said the appliance was not repairable and told me I had to buy a new one. Their replacement plan pays about 10% of the cost of a new one! Poor coverage for the cost

Today we had two techs come to our house as the A/C had problems. It turns out it was the thermostat had a bad wire. It was one of the WIFI ones. We change it to a different type. ( NOT A WIFI). You should know that the two techs #6457,and # 6434 were very nice. They explained what happened and how to program the new thermostat. We are very happy with the service. I had to switch service providers for my furnace and water heater last year after the company I had been using (that installed them both) sold out to another company. When I had the new company come for an annual service check, they falsely tried to convince me that they both needed replacement. They even red tagged my furnace for CO. Since we have a CO detector near the furnace that had never registered a problem, I doubted their diagnoses. I immediately called CenterPoint Home Service and they came out quickly and found my furnace and water heater simply needed some cleaning. They worked fine all winter.
This spring my furnace was rattling our basement door when it ignited -- like too much gas was in the chamber before the burners ignited. The CenterPoint Energy Home Service technician correctly diagnosed the problem, ordered a new regulator and arranged for it to be installed, which happened a day later with a different technician.

We've used them two times recently: The first time we tried to set up a boiler tune up and mentioned that we had been having headaches. The second time was on Christmas day we noticed it was chilly and our thermostat had no power. We called them and again they had someone out within 30 mins. One part had blown on the boiler making it not work. The guy left and found the part, came back and fixed it. All on Christmas Day!

We have a gas fireplace that is one of the newer, more efficient ones, but has proven to be quite sensitive to adjust. Our technician, Cody, came back a number of times and was very patient until the problem was resolved. It was frustrating at times because he tried a number of fixes that didn't work, but kept at it until he found the problem and got it fixed.

Utilized their service 4 times already. I have 9 equipment covered. The service people are knowledgeable. Only thing is that during summer, their AC repairmen are in high demand. To schedule ahead of time and make sure you are calling them frequently during the scheduled day or else the dispatcher won’t dispatch timely. Just for AC though.

upgraded my dryer outlet. Very professional and friendly and did a great job of clean up. great experience and it felt safe to use my dryer again and it was up to done.
