I needed to move a refrigerator down to my basement and cap off a gas line (scary for the average human). Kirch scheduled the appointment, followed up to confirm, and sent two guys over who were super helpful, quick, and left everything better than they found it. Can't say enough about how helpful Olivia who answered the phone was. So friendly and understanding of what we needed. 5 out of 5 - highly recommended

After our washer died, the appliance repair guy recommended Kirsch as a good place to get a used washer. They not only had one for a great price, but came out, installed it, and hauled away the old one! The two guys who came were great and got in and out in about 15 minutes. Definitely give them a look if you need an appliance.

UNREAL!!! This company is AMAZING!!! We've had multiple experiences over the years and they've all been wonderful. A few weeks back, on a Wednesday night, our old refrigerator died (of course). Panicking all night and scouring online, I was convinced we'd be without a fridge for at least a week or so and pay nearly $2k. Thursday morning I thought, alright, I guess it is what it is but we were looking for a black refrigerator (not thinking it'd be easy to find). I thought to check out Kirch first and then head to a major retailer to sign away $2k. SO GLAD I STOPPED AT KIRCH FIRST!!! Not only did we find the black fridge but it was about a third of the cost and WAY better than our previous fridge. To top this all off, we had it delivered the next day...AND THEY CAME EARLY!!! A Wednesday disaster turned into a Friday delight thanks to all those who helped us at Kirch. Always think Kirch first and save the stress of going elsewhere!!! Thanks all for your tremendous help and, as always, top notch service!!!

I've had nothing but exceptional service from Kirch. Their most recent visit was to look at my front load washing machine as it had started to smoke at last use during the spin cycle. Appointment set that day between 2:00 and 5:00. Tech called at 1:30 to let me know he'd be here at 2:00. We were unable to get it out of balance to get the machine to smoke, but after looking at the interior rubber he saw little remnants of rubber that indicated the drum was rubbing against the front of the machine, causing the smoking. He said one of the stabilizing springs is busted (I think he said there were 6 of them) exasperating the imbalance. If another one busts, I'll need to replace the machine altogether as the part to fix is $800.00 alone. We ran an entire spin cycle with clothes, and it ran perfectly. He advised to run it with light loads and make sure to rebalance the clothes if it goes out of balance again. If another spring goes bad, replace with a top loading machine! Both my washer and dryer are 11 yrs old, so the time will come. Thanks Kirch!

Had a refrigerator issue and was hoping not to buy a new fridge. The technician came out, diagnosed the issue right away, had the part in his van, so it was all fixed immediately. The cost was a little pricey for 1 hour of work, but I'm happy it's fixed and it's less than buying a new fridge.

A prior refrigerator died on a hot day in 2019. I needed a replacement fast. Kirch has a nice selection of used appliances and I found an affordable option that day. Said replacement fridge has now been sold and so I'm reporting ~2 years of it doing its duty. It's really nice to have a place like this in town.

I have been using Kirch Appliance for years. They are the official Samsung repair group in the are, which is how I discovered them years back when they fixed my microwave. Once out of warranty, I now call them directly and not through Samsung. They fixed my dishwasher a few times (each time a different issue). They are very methodical, courteous and knowledgeable. I highly recommend them and will return to them time and again.

Service was good. Technician was fine. Their minimum diagnostic and service call fee for a tech to come out to just provide a quote for service is $89+tax. He didn’t diagnose anything or really touch or fix anything on our washer and was in the house for about 10-15 minutes. So you are aware, if you know what the issues are, which I did, they will NOT provide any sort of discount for diagnosing anything yourself, so no use calling for yourself. Kind of a bummer because we’ll likely need to buy a new washer and some of that money would’ve been nice to go towards one.

Kirch came by to replace a part in my brand new, just-installed Frigidaire Gallery gas range (purchased elsewhere in Madison). There was some confusion and headaches from Frigidaire in setting the appointment up, but Kirch, themselves, were really great. The Kirch person who took my appointment & info was awesome and had amazing follow-through. The serviceman was very professional, thoughtful and very patient as I asked him a series of questions before he left. While I am still dubious that Frigidaire may have passed me a lemon, at least I know that working with Kirch is pretty painless. Thanks for all you do, Kirch!

Bought a washer and dryer combo from them and it is absolutely perfect. Works just like I bought from a major retailer without having to pay the price for it. The staff was very helpful and informed and everything came with a warranty. They even took into my basement and installed it for me. I will definitely be returning if I need any other appliances.

So far so good with my LG sliding-drawer icemaker. David fixed it with great dispatch and it seems to have done the trick. I appreciate the 30 day warranty to be sure that was the problem. I was thinking filter because my water is so hard but we didn't address that.

I was sent to Kirch Appliance by my Electrolux extended warranty contract for a washing machine repair. Kirch was able to get me on their schedule for the next day, and was able to get my washer back up and running within 2 weeks. This was over the Christmas/New Years day holidays and required a part order. Both technicians that came to our house for diagnoses and repair were professional and polite.

Bought 3 Samsung appliances from another store as part of a kitchen remodel. A couple of months after the installation, we had minor problems with all 3 appliances, which was disappointing. We called Samsung, who put us in touch with Kirch, who would do the warranty work. What was not disappointing was the service from Kirch Appliance, who was the authorized Samsung repair facility,. They were easy to work with. The office called to set up the appointment. The techs called before they got to my house, they called afterwards to relay what had been done. VERY professional, VERY courteous. Couldn't be happier with the way they handled the situations.

I've been a Kirch customer for over 10 years now. I've replaced almost all of my major appliances with used ones from Kirch. I've found Kirch's machines to be a good value, and I recommend the repair service, too. My most recent purchase was a washing machine; when our last one died, the service technician wa able to help us do a cost assessment of repair vs. replacement. We went to the showroom the next day to buy our next washer, and received a credit for the previous day's service call fee. I appreciate Kirch -- I get good value and service that meets my budget.

Kirch was recommended by my real estate agent when I purchased my first home nearly two decades ago and this rating is for numerous service calls over the years. The technicians have been prompt, courteous and effective — as have been the office/admin staff. Service has been consistently speedy, efficient, and pleasant. I can’t ask for more. I was just listening to a friend complain that she was waiting — for the fourth time over several months! — for a messed up washer/dryer delivery from a giant box store I generally like. I suggested, “Next time, use Kirch.” If you are at all concerned about sustainability and managing costs, Kirch is also the place to buy affordable reconditioned machines.

We bought a washer and dryer from Kirch Appliance and put them into cold storage because we were in the process of moving. Unfortunately it got cold the week they were in storage and there was water in the pumps for the washer which froze and cracked two pumps. I contacted them and they replaced both pumps under warranty at no cost to me even though it was totally my fault that they failed. I was fully expecting to pay to repair them, that's awesome customer service you don't find everywhere!

Called these guys when the ice maker in our new house wasn’t working (rather it was spewing water out the back making a mess of itself). How silly did I feel when the technician told me it was just ice built up where the water falls into the tray. With a little steam he had me right as rain in no time. He didn’t mind at all that I was super curious to see how the ice maker worked and was happy to show me. Even though I feel silly about calling when a defrost would have solved my problem - I’m still very happy with the service provided.

Just bought a French door refrigerator from Kirch. We had a unique size requirement and they had a used refrigerator at an incredible price that would work for us. Bought it on a Friday and they will be delivering first thing Monday morning. We live in Portage and the delivery charge was still only $50 extra. 5 star rating for these guys all the way around!

We had a tech. come and inspect our fridge. We were fairly certain it was beyond repair but if the problem was only a sensor we wanted to know our options for repair. The tech. called ahead and arrived on a timely basis. He seemed knowledgeable and went right to work. He confirmed that a repair would be expensive and we asked him to tell us which brands of refrigerators he thought had the best track record for reliability. He suggested a few brands to avoid and a few he deemed as good choices. We were pleased with our experience.

A serviceman came to our home to inspect our oven, which wasn't heating properly and smelled like gas. He was very professional! He even worked quietly so as not to wake my sleeping children!! If you area looking for someone to fix your appliance, you should start here. Refreshing to have a good old-fashion family run business that truly values their reputation in the industry. Get this.........I asked Kirch appliance to come out and take a look at my 6 year-old $2,600 Maytag refrigerator (that included a 5 year warranty) that simply quit working. Kirch made three separate in-home service calls trying different fixes before concluding that the fridge was not repairable or at least it would not be cost effective to invest an estimated $1,200 to have it repaired. It was the owner's son Josh who made the third and final in-home service call. When I asked how much I owed him for service call(s), as well as the various electronic control panels they purchased as part of the repair, I was told "nothing". Josh further stated that "given that we were unable to repair your fridge and the inconvenience of having to go without for a week, there will be no charge. Unheard of in today's corporate big box store world. In the end, I did convince him to allow me to pay for at least one service call which he reluctantly accepted. Nicely played Kirch!

I was fully expecting I'd be told there was nothing they could do with this 20+ year-old washing machine and that I'd have to spring for a new one. But after a quick repair (at exactly the quoted price), it was repaired and working fine. I appreciated that they didn't try to sell me something I didn't need. After they left, I realized that the machine was actually bought (reconditioned) from Kirch, long before I bought the house--solid work!

I needed a washer dryer set for my new apartment and had been stood-up by so many private sellers on facebook and Craigslist. Then a friend recommended Kirch. I'm so HAPPY with my purchase! They were feiendly, knowledgeable, and quick from day of purchase to delivery and installation. For just around $600 I got a matching whirlpool set that looks almost new and work like a dream, delivery, AND installation. I will be buying all my used appliances from them going forward!!

Kirch Appliance came out to our home as a 3rd party technician vendor on behalf of Samsung warranty service work. Our service technician called in advance, was on time, was personable, fastidious, well informed and performed his service functions with quickly and with ease. He went over each step as he worked replacing/removing parts and gladly noted the reason for the replacement and/or his theory, was knowledgeable with our product and the Samsung brand, and the parts that he was removing/replacing with new, including the new replacement circuit board. This was by far one of the best 3rd party service technicians that we have every had the pleasure of working with to fix our warranty work. It was a pleasure to have this company to work with and we will not only use them in the future (as they also have sales, service and some used appliances), but will recommend them to others as individuals and as a potential vendor for income property appliances for repair/replacement. *Warranty service was for a newer Samsung refrigerator with defective ice maker, drain, main "guts", and circuit board.

Our electric dryer heat went out and I set up an appointment with Kirch based on good Next Door recommendations and eastside Madison location. I called on a Thursday and first appt. was the next Monday. Andy G. called before arrival, checked it over, found bad high limit thermostat. He had the right part so fixed it, I paid with a CC and he was out the door. Parts-$39, labor-$30, service call-$82, Total $159.31. Worked for me. They do sell reconditioned appliances in the $250-$300 ranges.

Not every service provider services Samsung. The service was efficient and effective. My problem was common and not too complex - a plugged drainage tube which meant water collected at the bottom of the fridge. But it was complex enough I could not have handled it myself . I’d definitely use them again.
