Hunt’s is an absolute gem. Whether you’re an industry professional, hobbyist, or even just interested in learning more about photography, the staff at Hunt’s are top tier. I shoot digital professionally, and analog as a hobby, every time I am I'm the area, I am eager to stop by. They keep a decent selection of analog gear, including 35 and 120, b&w and c41. Prices are good, usually cheaper than ordering online, if you have to pay shipping. They also keep plenty of extra gear, lighting and bags, perfect for getting any photographer the gear they need. Cant wait for my next visit

Where do we start... Hunts is THE Place to go for all your photo and video needs. They have a great selection of new and used Lens'. Not only that but they have all the filters,diopter Lens' cleaning kits you could need . Don't forget the drones,gimbals,tripods, and carrying cases. The customer service was above all the rest. Not only were they knowledgeable but they were friendly and not because they were trying to make a sale. Hunts is by far the best shop for miles. Trust they're years of knowledge and expertise not some big store salesman that has entry level knowledge at best.

Everytime I go in things flow nice and smoothly, they let you get to feel and get personally with some of the equipment because they want you to buy them. Getting to feel and "play" with your future tools to understand how everything works is something that other stores will get mad at you for, Not so much here. Almost everyone her has their own camera and knows how the cameras work with each system.

Had trouble deciding if I wanted a Sony A7 iii, looked at the camera at Best Buy, they have a 15% restocking fee... Not looking to test drive the camera, just to be sure it was much better than my D7100. Spoke with Eric, drove 35 min to the store, bought the camera. Took it home, just not enough better than my D7100, begrudgingly I drove back to return the camera- feeling bad about it, I had hope to love it. Eric greeted me with smiles, "no problem!" and issued a full refund. At Best Buy I would have paid over $300 for that. Not to mention Best Buy doesn't keep most cameras in stock anymore. Hunt is the way to go, great prices, lots of stock, smart employees, full support

An awesome clean shop with friendly knowledgeable staff where you're still able to pick up 35 mm film and have it processed! Went here to pick up film for my kids prom and was really impressed with the friendliness of the staff. Will definitely be back again.. oh side note! They also have disposable cameras. remember those things? We used to take them every week with us out to the clubs. back in the day when you know people actually like to have physical copies of their pictures. Remember those dinosaur years ?? I do lol

They had a good selection of gear. My trade in offer was low compared to online retailers(b&h, adorama, etc). The convenience of being able to go into a store vs having to ship was nice. Everyone seemed polite if not overly friendly, and I'm sure I'll go there again for new glass or accessories. I will say they got me $40 off a bag and a free filter with the purchase of a body and lens, thought that was cool. Overall I approve.

Great camera store that has new and used equipment! I worked with Peter Shanelaris on the purchase of a new Nikon mirrorless camera. I was leaving on a trip the next day and called to check if they had a specific model in stock. Peter was able to work some magic to make one at the store available for purchase. Better yet, when I arrived he was patient and made sure I could try different ones in addition to the one I wanted. While in the shop I saw another customer receive the same care and attention from another employee, which is always a good sign. Their prices on used cameras/lenses are also unbeatable! If you’re looking for a particular camera or just have questions, the people here will make sure you’re taken care of without overselling you. Will be back…thanks! Support your local camera shops! I do order from B&H as well, but have found the in-store experience is just better.

I went to have a camera repaired and needed to rent a replacement for a gig. They don't rent cameras, but, they had a used, slightly older model of the one I was having repaired and the price was a steal. And with the cost of replacing such a camera, the cost of an extended warranty made sense ( for once in my life ) ... And they even let me put it on a *used* camera. Does not cover dropped equipment, but, if does cover everything else. Don't hesitate... I had never met any of them and I got the sense that I could trust what he was saying. I will go back. Lots of Nikon PRO gear.

I recently had an accident with my Nikon D500and it needed some repair. There is a handling fee of $18 to ship the camera to Nikon for diagnostics. Then there is a minimum fee of $200 depending on the details of the parts and labor requirements but you have the opportunity to decline the repair service and the camera will be returned. So not a bad deal to give you the information needed to decide whether you to repair or replace. I chose to repair it since it was far cheaper at the quoted $300 repair which included restoring it to a refurbished class which means that it passes all of the same tests that the camera must pass when it's sold as "Refurbished". The staff at Hunt Photos are extremely knowledgeable and can guide you in all kinds of photographic issues.

Went in looking for a camera. Peter helped me by patiently answering every question I had. I ended up walking out with a whole lot more than I expected when I walked in because Peter was able to help me find things I didn’t know I needed until I asked. I didn’t feel pressured to buy anything but they had exactly what I needed and more. Peter even let me hold his personal camera to get a feel for the camera I wanted. Customer service was beyond my expectations. If you are in the area and need anything camera related don’t go anywhere else without giving these guys a chance first. Hunt's has a great selection of cameras and accessories. I was in a pinch for a small tripod and they had several options of which I selected two different styles. One to support my camera and the other for a table top mic holder. Prices are very reasonable. Location is convenient.

Nice selection of equipment to choose from here. If you can't find it here they can order it and even have it delivered to a location of your choosing. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They were able to recommend some items that would make my hikes with my camera much more bearable, as I didn't want to lug heavy items for long distances, if I could help it.

Helpful staff, a bit overpriced but that's almost every camera store. A decent selection, and the offer used cameras, which I like. Good place to stock up on obsolete camera stuff like polaroids or 35mm. Probably one of the better places in New Hampshire to do so.

I've purchased cameras twice in the Manchester store. Both times I was able to spend plenty of time with knowledgeable staff. I research stuff extensively online, but what you learn by actually trying the camera yourself can't be beat. Since it's tax free, your price is what you might pay at one of the big New York camera stores. They also made it easy to trade in my gear. Their offer was fair relative to the quotes I received from stores in Atlanta and New York. They don't have a big store, but they have folks there who love photography. Highly recommended.

Didn't even know this store existed. I was resorting to best buy for camera needs. Happened to find this online and stopped in to the store to find a 50mm lens for my canon. They had it in stock for a good price, they were very knowledgeable with everything we spoke about. I ended up going back the next day to buy a monopod and they shipped it from their other store to my house at no extra charge. Great people HIGHLY recommend !

Good customer service is so hard to find. If you need anything to do with your camera or to purchase one, go to Hunt’s Photo. I couldn’t be happier with how I am greeted on the phone as well as at the entrance and how I am treated by their staff. Most recently, I took my camera to Hunt's for a spot on the sensor. Harper, who is just awesome, gave me a thorough tutorial on cleaning the sensor with my own products so I don't have to keep running back and forth having them clean it, which has happened several times after swapping lenses repeatedly in the field. I now feel more confident doing this myself after Harper's 101 lesson! So thanks for that! Also, definitely take one of their photography classes. DO THIS!!!! They're great. :-)

A fantastic selection in house as well as a warehouse for their online sales Hunt's is one of the three places online I recommend for for purchasing photographic equipment. But if you're the type like me that likes to hold try things out Hunt's has many locations throughout New England and I highly highly recommend you visit them when in the market for new equipment.

This guy literally bent over backwards to get me all the equipment my foreign friend (who is a professional photographer for Nat George)... I can't say enough good things about my experience here. I really needed to find an expert to help me choose the best lens for taking amateur sport photos for my son's lacrosse and football teams. I hit the jackpot with Angus. I ended up buying 2 new lenses and a great bag all at more than competitive prices! Before I went in, I was prepared to "pay a little more" for the value of an expert who could answer all my questions; and I did want to support a local business. Out of curiosity, I checked prices at Best Buy and Amazon afterward to see how much more I paid and was super happy and surprised that I paid about 10% LESS at Hunts! I don't know how they do that, but I will not buy camera equipment anywhere else from now on, even if it were to cost a few more bucks. Bonus; they took my other lenses and bag that I don't use any more in trade for a lot more than I could get at a yard sale or posting on line. Excellent experience.

Hunt's is absolutely phenomenal. I like the Manchester NH branch even more than the main store in Massachusetts, even though it is smaller. It's a well run store that doesn't try to up-sell or pressure you into any kind of purchase. It really boils down to the entire staff there being people whose judgment I would really trust when making expensive equipment purchases. I've found gear I am really happy with here and they're fun to talk photography with. The NH photography community is lucky to have them.

So I am not the brightest person and I ask too many questions in my opinion but everyone who was working today was super patient and helpful. Brought in a canon AE-1 I found at a thrift shop to see if it still works and it didn’t unfortunately. But two gentleman and a girl who’s names I can’t remember all looked at camera and tried a whole bunch of methods to get it to work but to no avail. Lucky for me they had an AE-1 Program body for 30 bucks!! Very happy with my experience with yall

And instead no acknowledgment that I even existed, the staff that was SWAMPED customers were friendly and inviting. Eric Arnold went above and beyond to find and get everything I once had at a price unmatched anywhere else. It’s a “CAMERA STORE” ... and they have plenty of them along with plenty of customers. I picked up a Sigma 14mm F1.8 Art while I was there. I am from out of town but I come to Manchester every now and again with different shows and HUNT’S PHOTO & VIDEO is on my map now. So.. I am off to try out my new lens.

From helping us (newbies!) with equipment buying decisions, to answering "HELP!" questions when we're in the middle of shooting our products and still befuddled by camera settings, they've always been quick to help. The only one with an attitude is their chocolate lab. If you don't bring a treat, prepare to be snubbed. :D

I had an old cardboard, disposable camera that was in Operation Desert Storm with me. It then spent the next 25 years filled with sand, in the bottom of a duffel bag, in an attic that was usually over 100 degrees in the summer and freezing in the winter. They couldn't save all the pictures but went above and beyond to save what they could. Incredible job!

I am new to photography (past 6 months). I have bought all of my camera gear at Hunts in Manchester, NH. A Fujifilm body and 3 lenses. I have also taken several beginner classes and have more scheduled. My buying experience at Hunts has been amazing. I have bought what I can used and the prices I have paid have been very reasonable compared to any online store. The staff has been beyond helpful. The classes I have taken through Hunts have also been amazing. I do not think my first 6 months in the hobby would be as enjoyable as they have been without Hunts. I will give them my business for all of my photography needs.
