Jimmy and the crew at A1 couldn’t be better. Extremely thorough with their presentations and took all the time we needed to compare and present different solutions for us. In the end, we made the best decision for us based on value and exceeded our budget slightly to buy an outstanding machine. After a couple weeks of use, we couldn’t be happier. Customers for life.

Local, family owned store. Sells high quality vacuums. Salesperson was willing to work with us on a deal that was right for us. Very knowledgeable. Willing to take the time to demonstrate each product we were interested in and answered all of our questions. Quite possibly the best customer service I’ve ever had. They repair older models without pressuring you to “upgrade” and buy a new model, and they honor their own work, even if a factory part fails after they’ve installed it. I bought my first Riccar vacuum from A1 vacuum about 16 years ago. We loved it so much we bought a second one for our basement. They stand behind their products, they offer top notch service, trade ins , advice, I'm store demos on every vacuum in the store if ya want. I highly recommend them , great local family store.

It seems like finding decent customer service comes far and few between. I could go on & on about how incredibly over the top & helpful the service i received Was. How many hours & hours i poured Over the internet to find something as simple as a reliable vacuum cleaner. It took only mins here. I was Guided to EXACTLY.. what I needed.. no gimmicks or salespitches. Here’s my problem.. this is the solution. I had no idea that I needed This store so much. I’d give 10 stars.. I’ll be back! This is the best vacuum store I've ever been to! I have used them for 4 years and never bought a vacuum! They have changed my belts and cleaned my vacuum and been extremely helpful without ever pressuring me to buy a new vacuum! Best vacuum store ever!

We took our old Oreck in for trade in not knowing what we wanted to buy. The owner Jimmy was there and his nephew Hayden assisted in showing all sorts of models. We ended up buying a Rikkar. Let me say we didn't know what we were missing. Great store, no pressure and friendly staff. Will return as a customer for sure.

Amazing customer service! Took my 1980's Electrolux Discovery here over the years until it was past the point of no return. When I inquired about purchasing a new Miele cordless vacuum Hayden was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of my questions with a smile. He was happy to unbox the vacuum to show me the different assembly variations as well as the finer details of operating and maintaining the vacuum. Not to mention he wasn't pushy in the slightest. Give this guy a raise!

I visited A-1 because they had such positive customer reviews and because I wanted to talk to someone who could help me choose a quality vacuum that suited my needs. This place was a home run! Matt patiently and thoroughly showed us several models and let us try them out. We came home and put our new Riccar right to work on our family room carpet. This room sees a lot of traffic and we have 2 dogs that shed heavily. What this vacuum did was amazing! Thank you, Matt, for helping us make such a good choice. You've earned a loyal customer!

Best experience ever buying a vacuum! Matt, Emily and Matt's brother were all so helpful! They listened to what I was looking for. They did not just try to sell me a vacuum. My husband actually went with me. This is not his sort of thing at all. He even commented on how nice everyone was. That is a huge compliment coming from him. I highly recommend A1 vacuum! Very nice people! I clean for a living & my vacuum had a item stuck in the hose that I could not get out. They removed it promptly & had the vacuum back working in about 10 minutes. Best vacuum shop in town! Thanks again :)

Needed a base for a Rainbow vac as the wheel on the old D4 model had broken off. The gentleman who assisted me searched for one and it was ok but offered to clean it up for a little more $. When he returned he said he found a newer base and it looked immaculate, even charged me the same as the one he was going to clean up. I watched them interact with a couple of other people and they were very knowledgeable and real humans thanks!!!

The service that I recieve at A-1Vacuum is first rate. They are always so helpful and friendly. I wouldn't go anywhere else because of the service they provide. I absolutely love my Riccar vacuum!! I believe this is the best vacuum cleaner on the market!! I have always used Riccar and will never own anything else. I can use it on my hardwood floors and carpet areas. It is a one stop shop. One of the best features of the Riccar is that I am able to vacuum my stairs without ever moving my machine. Every household should own a Riccar!!!

Wonderful place, repaired my vacuum cleaner and replaced parts on warranty at no cost and leant me a fabulous vacuum cleaner until I got mine back.so refreahing to have this kind of service and,to be able to get somethong fixxed rather than adding it to a landfill. I bought my Miele in 2007 from Mike when he was in the Highlands. When I'm in Louisville, I see Mike's kids, Matt, Tim & Emily. This family owned business has become my go to store for vacuum supplies and carpet cleaners. I most recently purchased the Lindhaus Pure Power to work a pet stain that has been around awhile. With 2 dogs & 2 cats, the stains are always popping up. I'm amazed to say that I just went back for my second can due to the results. I started with another product in my hand and after Mike questioned me on my needs, I walked out with the Lindhaus Pure Power and so happy I did. If you have a carpet cleaning need for stains, pet hair, or just general dirt, A-1 Vacuum Sales & Service is the place that has the answers. They sell the old fashioned way with great customer service and fitting the needs of their clients.
