He really listened to what we wanted and made some great recommendations without trying to upsell us. A recent examples of how great they are. I bought a wireless remote and few days later it didn't work with my camera, even though it was compatible. By then I had no original box to return the product but Jeremy, helped us and verified the faulty product and replaced it with a new one that works like a charm.

Love this place, I take all my film here to be developed so I can take the negatives home to scan. I've never done much else here besides develop film and buy it. But their pricing is great on development. Film is relative to location so it varies, none the less staff is very friendly and some remember me every time I show up.

I've been a photographer for over 25 years and I've been inside of every type of camera store from here to the Middle East. Chloe helped me when I came in to pick up a soft box and a speed ring for a maternity shoot. She was very patient and helpful over the phone as well as in person. It's unfortunate that more of these shops are not still in business but I am very grateful that Bedford camera has so many services to offer as well as a helpful and friendly staff.

Let’s get this out first. I am an Amazon kinda guy. But for a purchase such as this, being able to talk to actual people that use this equipment was a must. Bedfords employees gave me accurate info as well as alternatives for my purchases. They did not pressure me into something I didn’t not want or need. All the info they gave me proved to be right and I am more than pleased with the interaction I had with them. Their shipping was spot on and I couldn’t be happier. I will definitely continue to use them for all my related purchases. Forget amazon in this area.

My mother wanted an older favorite picture of her and my father enlarged. (He went to meet our Father in heaven in 2001). I went to Penny's, they referred me to Bedford in Little Rock. I walked in and met Kathy, she helped me pick the right size, the right matting, and ordered it. She even had it mailed to my mom along with the original photo. The customer service I received from Kathy was awesome. She was very professional and knowledgeable. I am recommending Bedford to all my friends. Thank you Kathy, for making my 86 yr old mother happy, she absolutely loves the picture!!

First the good: The staff is very nice and knowledgeable. They have great events, and are genuinely interested in helping you get the right camera and ensuring that you can use it well. Now the stuff I have to deduct stars for: The location is simply horrible. There are almost no parking spots near the store that do not have signs warning that you will be towed. They closed a vastly superior location in North Little Rock with great parking when they opened several other stores in Northwest Arkansas. The store has a very strong Nikon bias, which is fine if you are a Nikon shooter (they make great cameras), but if you shoot another brand, you will find their selection lacking. It's especially difficult for a Sony shooter like myself to justify the drive out to their only remaining Central Arkansas location, only to find that the lens or camera you want is not in stock, and they don't know when or if it will be, or that the equipment is in a far away store and can be shipped to the store in a few days if you want to pay for it in advance. There are too many good online dealers who can quickly and simply ship the equipment directly to my home and save me a 45 mile round trip. Again, if you are a Nikon shooter, and you live in central or west Little Rock, this is definitely the store for you. I would love to be able to do business with them, but it's just not worth the hassle.

Our experiences with Bedford Camera & Video in Little Rock, AR have always been very pleasant. I have to say that our latest visit on Black Friday, November 23, 2018, topped all previous times. Not only was it extremely pleasant, it was very informative and most enjoyable. We went in to check on the Black Friday sales and to get some more information on the Nikon D850. We were fortunate enough to have Kathy White assist us. From past conversations, we knew she was the sales person for us. She gave us her undivided attention. Kathy is very knowledgeable in the working of each camera and the ability to show you the comparisons between each brand of camera or each specific kind of camera within the same brand. She has a way of putting you at ease making the hardest questions seem easy by breaking them down and explaining them until you are intelligently informed. Kathy was professional but friendly and considerate. I was pleased that she was concerned with my wife’s comfort since she has difficulty standing for long periods of time. We did purchase the Nikon D850 along with some of the essential accessories for the type of photographing that we will be doing. The Black Friday sales afforded us to get more than we had anticipated that we would be able to get going in. I would highly recommend that another in need of any sort of photograph equipment or supplies to shop at Bedford Camera & Video in Little Rock, AR. You won’t be disappointed! They will be there with information, support and willing to help you in any way they can. I might suggest that you talk with Kathy. She can help you with all your needs and having you smiling as you walk out of the store.

Perfect 5/5, hands down. In the age of amazon, this is the only photo shop in town that I know of. They have (nearly) all the equipment you might need. Additionally, they have real world experience, review, and advice that you just can’t get anywhere else. In addition to selling gear, they also teach classes on how to better your photography skills. If you catch any images doing that, or otherwise, you can also get them printed here by people that have the same attention to detail that you do when it comes to getting your photos to look right on paper. I wanted some simple photo prints from some summer vacations and didn't want to pay shipping fees through online companies. My prints turned out great. Not fuzzy or weird color lines that I get sometimes at Walgreens. I would have given them 5 stars, but my order did get lost in the shuffle, so wasn't ready when I went to pick them up. But they were very nice and apologetic, so I picked them up within an hour. I will return, just might call before driving out there to pick up my order.

There's more knowledge and experience here than most people realize. To keep up with the subtle differences in an ever-changing technology like photography is not something just some average retail worker can handle. These folks stay up to date on new gear, provide their firsthand experience and still do their best to give the good deals. All the while balancing the print customers who range from 80 year old grannies with iPhones to business owners outfitting their buildings with art to working photographers filling client orders. Bedford, specifically the Little Rock location, is unlike any other brick and mortar you can find in 2016 and I highly suggest you check them out instead of big-box stores or B&H. And yes, they do price match.

I am from Texas and am in Arkansas for the first time (great state, not Texas great, but great ;) haha )anyways I have been doing some landscape photography, and I, like a genius, I left my XQD reader back home. I had to drive over an hour to get to Bedford just prior to closing, and they were my last hope. Long story short, I walked in and Jeremy S, immediately asked if I needed anything. I said I needed an XQD reader, and he said unfortunately they were out!... He could see my heartbreak on my face and through my mask. After a moment he said hold on a minute, asks around the store, and came back with one. Just wanted to say thanks for you Jeremy and your team. You saved my a$$! Cheers!

Could not have asked for a better experience. I walked in with a problem with my camera. I was expecting to drop it off and not see it for weeks as most camera stores I've been to normally do. The young lady at the counter took the camera, listened to what was wrong with it, and did the fix right then and there within 5 minutes. I had a passport photo taken there for an Australian passport. They knew the correct size and what was required. Australia actually rejected my application because the photo paper wasn't up to thier requirements, but, a work around was Bedford retake the picture and email it to me so I could email it to the Australian Embassy as they would accept a digital copy having seen the original hard copy etc, etc. Bedford did this at no charge and that's what I call 5 star service.

Matthew Dyson at the Little Rock store is my Go-To when I make visit into the store. He is always knowledgeable, helpful, and can put it in terms anyone can understand. I love the storage on bedfordpix. Four out five stars because I think their program of prebuying prints should be expanded to more than just 8x10 size and insurance when renting equipment should be part of the rental price, or at least an option, like when renting a car.

It is every photographers nightmare to do a shoot only to find that when you upload your card there are no images...corrupt...not ONE but THREE out of four cards!!! I hate to admit it, but it happened to me! My heart sank and I tried everything from downloading software to updating software waiting hours only to read the words...no files could be recovered! I stressed for weeks thinking the images were gone forever. I called John Rose at Bedford Camera and Video and he told me to send them in and he would see what he could do. Just a few days later he emailed to tell me that many images were recovered and he hoped they were the right ones and they were in the mail! I was delighted to see that ALL of my images were recovered and promptly sent back to me!
