Used Sears repair a few times. I have always been including this time completely satisfied with the technician. My complaint is with the appointment. It was set a number of days in advance so I could be there for 10am to 2pm but they did not arrive till after 3:30pm. Which was past the time that I could be there so my 87 year old dad had to handle the repairman.
As far as the repairman goes, he was fast, courteous, and exact and went that extra mile. Excellent! As far as corporate goes, they kept me waiting for a couple of months and were NOT going to bend on sending out a tech to install the parts that were delivered (one of which was the part I really needed) and left me hanging with nothing but 'prompt' talking points. Not the Sears of old and what a shame that is. They were once a company that care very much about customer satisfaction.
We were extremely pleased with the two servicemen who came to our home on June 30 to install a window model heating and air conditioning unit. Both were clearly knowledgeable in their trade and worked efficiently as a team. My son and I had a number of questions regarding the installation as well as the functioning of the unit which were answered willingly and in a manner we could understand. The work was completed quickly , including adjustments required to the space receiving the unit. Finally, the finished project was very satisfactory. G-d bless you and thank you for a job well done.
Good service with service times met, only problem was parts needed they didn't have control board in stock, had to order, part delivered to house within a few business days, but return repair was scheduled over a week later!!
My washer was leaking from a hose under the washer. The first technician had to order the part because it was no where in Las Vegas. He made another appointment for me after he ordered the part. He said that if the part comes in earlier to call Sears and make an earlier appointment. I received the part in 3 days, called Sears to make another earlier appointment. I was given the appointment in 2 days. Two days is better then 9 days. Thank you Sears, your technicians are great and caring.
The technician was knowledgeable, professional and personable. His patient responses with details to my questions both related to and unrelated to the service call (an out of warranty dryer sound) is what's missing from customer service today. His example has earned for Sears my business in the future.
Willie is very friendly and very knowledgeable. He showed up on time, very responsible. He is truly an asset to your company and should be commented for his hard work and professionalism. I would highly recommend him to my friends and family.
My technician gave me a friendly reminder 45 minutes prior to his arrival. When he arrived he told me everything that he was doing because I was watching and advise me what the part was that was broken and what he was replacing and what could have caused it to break. He was very efficient and did a wonderful job.
Our 12 year old Kenmore Front load washer kept flashing alerts so we called for a technician. The Sears rep arrived as promised and was very professional.
Although, he could not fix the problem immediately he had some good input that help us make some necessary decision. I would not hesitate to call them again. Allan E.
Water softner removal and replacement of outer shell. My tech was on time, prepared and totally efficient. He cleaned up the work area when finished and took all used parts away upon leaving. He had a professional attitude while being personable and informative. Overall I would rate this an excellent experience.

The warranty repair was completed satisfactorily. We had problems getting a technician to come out at the originally scheduled time & showing up unannounced on a day/time not scheduled or prior notification, (believe it was a 3rd party). Also, no calls were returned nor was notification of the original " no show" given. No one showed up with the Covid 19 recommended ppe as we were told when schedling they would arrive with, to include masks, gloves, shoe booties. They even asked us health questions & asked that we keep the 6ft social distancing when their workers arrive. I feel that they did not do their part as promised regarding safety for all involved.
My washing machine was on its deathbed. The repairman came out and brought my front loader back to life. He was knowledgeable and gave the price without trying to upcharge. Something about true honesty in this industry means alot to me.
The service tech was excellent, friendly, and he knew his trade! I only wish he could have done something about the light frost build up on the main freezer drawer. Apparently, this is common for our Kenmore Elite 30 CF bottom (3 drawer) freezer. Sounds like an engineering design fault that needs attention.
When I made the appointment, Sears said the $95 diagnosis fee would be included in the repair if I had them complete the repair. When the repair was complete they charged me $95 for diagnosis and $145 labor for 15 minutes of work. The technician was nice & competent but I was charged $95 more than initially quoted.
My experience went well. The technician was knowledgeable and efficient.
I knew what I needed, and he called ahead so I could make sure he had the needed part on board. While he had the machine opened up he looked for any other obvious problems and allowed me a moment to vacuum up the dust and clean it up a little inside. It wasn't cheap, but I thought the service was excellent.
Nice service repair man came abd fixed my dryer in minutes! He represented the company well & the price was RIGHT. I recommend and will call again if i need appliance repair.
The tech who visited me was polite and very knowledgeable. He felt bad when we plugged in the washer, which I had unplugged when the light wouldn't go off and it wouldn't start, and it started working. He still did a diagnostic test and then gave me instruction on what to do if it happened again. Loretta Green
Technician came in and was able to finally fix the vent hood with the clips and lights. I don't understand why it was so difficult to get the right clips to fix the hood cover. Since they are made of plastic and will eventually fatigue and break, this should be a part that is easy to find and order.

The technicians who came to the house were professional, very experienced, pleasant and thorough. It's too bad the agents on the phone are not the same: the problem was very simple and should have been corrected there.
Scheduling the repair was easy and received same day appointment. Repairman was on time, knowledgeable and courteous. The whole service experience was great.
The tech was very knowledgeable. She was able to detect what it was just with the explanation I gave her. It's a bit pricey, but totally worth it. Would definitely recommend

YOU USED TO VACUUM THE COILS ON SUCH REFRIG. REPAIRS PREVIOUSLY...WHY THE CHANGE & NOW CHARGE $50 TO DO SO WITH NO SENIOR DISCOUNT? THE REPAIRMAN WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL & NICE, BUT THIS UPSET US, BEING SENIORS & MYSELF RIGHT OUT OF THE HOSPITAL TOO!
