John is a responsive, and an extremely intelligent/knowledgeable professional appliance repairman with over 10 years experience. He came out to repair my gas dryer quickly and resolved the heating issue just as quick. I will call John of JB APPLIANCE REPAIR and will no longer sign with any home warranty service. John's service, rates and availability far shine above ANY individual I've called in the past. It was a true blessing to have such a knowledgeable and Christian man in my home. I plan on calling him in the near future for additional work that needs to be done on other appliances.

Woke up at 5:oo am this morning and my refrigerator was not working. In three days, Christmas Eve, we are going to feed 22 people. I looked on the internet and found several repair services in League City. I called JB Appliance Repair because he opened the earliest at 7:00 am. I called him at 6:50 am. He answered and said he was enroute to the shop. I described the problem. He said it sounded like a motherboard. He said give him the model number so he could get the part before the parts store closed (30 miles away). He had other calls to make, but he would pick up the part and would come and try to repair the refrigerator as soon as possible. John was a real professional, very pleasant and knowledgeable. Within minutes, he had the refrigerator working like it was brand new. I have full confidence to recommend him as your repairman for any appliance he works on. He is now in my phonebook. I rate JB Appliance Repair 5 star plus.

Called late on a Saturday afternoon, and was told he could come at 2 the next day; yes, on Sunday. During the call John made sure to tell me he does not charge extra for weekends. He arrived just before 2 on Sunday, after calling me to tell me he was on his way. From start to end he spent about an hour here. The washer started leaking after he left. I sent him a quick text and he called right back and told me he would come back as soon as he was done with the appointment he was at; and he did. He assessed the issue, made an adjustment, tested the machine and was on his way again. I could not have hoped for a more pleasant experience. I highly recommend John, the JB of JB Appliance.

I called yesterday and I receive a call back quick, he asked important questions the make and model number and an appointment was scheduled for Monday between 10 and noon he called when he was on his way to my home. He admittedly unscrew the built-in oven and pulled it out of the wall and to all of our dismay it was an electrical issue which he said he will be able to repair we flipped the breakers off the repair was done flipped the breakers back on and wala the oven worked. Glory to God what a blessing that my house and catch on fire and I did not have to purchase a new built-in oven. That are on back order until June. Highly recommend JB and his son absolutely fabulous human being.

Mr. John picked up the phone on the first ring. He gave a time two days in advance, and was prompt about arriving at the fore-mentioned time. He throughly explained the issue with our freezer and allowed us to learn while he worked. I am confident in my ability to fix that specific issue myself and will be contacting John next time there’s an issue I can’t fix. He quoted us over 100 dollars, and by the time he finished, he charged only 80 as he was able to finish faster than he anticipated.

JB was a God send! I tried to use another repair business who didn't show up after giving me an appointment over the weekend. I then contacted JB Appliance on Monday, and he was very quick to fit me into his schedule. He is very friendly and personable. He went as far as to show me what this issue was with my refrigerator and how he intended to fix it. I recently moved into the area and bought a new place. I was so excited and then the joys of homeownership started to be dampened by some unforeseen challenges. The washer the seller of my home left was leaking, first a little, then a lot. Great, I thought, that's why they so willingly left it. So I searched online for someone to help, do I go to a big box store, the manufacturer, or take a chance on someone local? I took a chance and called John. He came out that evening after work! He told me what he was looking at and looking for and we found the sources of the leak. Yes, there were 2! He took care of everything in no time flat, he had supplies with him and he was wearing my favorite football team's hat. So glad I took a chance on hiring someone local. I have called John over and over throughout the years to help me with problems in my home, and problems with a rental house that I rented out to college students when he was based in Central New York. He has helped me out of several binds, but the two most pressing were: 1. I had my furnace shut off in the middle of New York winter and I called John in the morning with a cold house (and a new baby). He correctly diagnosed the problem over the phone without even looking at it...he said he was in the middle of another emergency job, and would be right over...but if I wanted, I could dash to the hardware store, pick up the part that was needed and try to fix it myself for about $8...but if I couldn't get it, he would be at my house next. I got the part, (thermocoupler I think?) but couldn't figure how or where to install it. 20 minutes later, John was at my door and had heat going back to my house in another 5. 2. I moved away (about an hour) and had a brand new washing machine that wouldn't drain, had a burning smell and no way to do my laundry for my toddler. No one local was available, so I called John as a hail Mary. At the end of his day's appointments, John drive the hour to my house, disassembled my washer and found the culprit, a kid's sock got lodged in the drainage system. One sock removal and a new belt and we were back in business. John also indicated that my washer was under warranty, and said he'd settle up with them as long as I filled out the paperwork. I have found John to be trustworthy, more than fair in price, knowledgeable and pleasant to talk to. He's never left me hanging - and responds to calls and texts. I don't know what I'll do without him. Texas, our loss is your gain.

John explained what went wrong, why it happened, and gave recommendations on what to watch for, and how to repair it in the future. On the oven repair, he used a different name brand part (exact same part) b/c that brand gave a longer warranty than the OEM brand. I'll be calling him again.
