Northgate Appliance has my strongest recommendation. I was very impressed with both sales and service. First and foremost, I knew I had to order our appliance package months in advance for our new construction project. They have to deal with supply chain issues like anyone else. I worked with Brandon, and he was very helpful in navigating those issues and making sure our install went seamlessly. He was very patient and accommodating when our builder kept delaying the install date. The panel dishwasher had an issue after install and within a day he had service come out and fix it. Kudos to Brandon and Northgate. Happy customer here!

Great Service - Just purchased a new washer and dryer and we had a mix up and got an electric dryer instead of a gas dryer. The install team lead by Brandon was fantastic. He was able to coordinate with hours of getting the right unit and finished the install in the same day. He even had to change the height of the drain to make it work with the pedestal cabinet. All I can say is above and beyond.

Just had two young guys deliver my stove, refrigerator to my house. Very thoughtful !! They laid towels down on the floor to walk on. They explained how to set the the temperature on the refrigerator. Show me how to do my gas stove . Very Pleased with the delivery guys and the store sales men , very friendly.Highly Recommend !!!! Northgate Rocks! So extremely Thankful for their service. Their service department followed up so well with an issue we had with our Frigidaire. Took the time to write a personal note to take the steps to get replacement. One phone call to the company and they took it from there got a replacement. Very impressive!

Over the past 4 years I've had to replace 2 major appliances. Being new to the area I didn't know where to go. After extensive searching of products at local stores and the Internet, each time I came back to Northgate to make my purchase. I'm not able to purchase any of their high end appliances, yet every time I've been in their store they have been respectful, courteous and helpful. Plus, several of the people remember me and take the effort to make the interaction personal. I highly recommend this place.

Finally found the absolute best installation, appliance and customer service store for appliances. I'm leaving a review because I'm beyond impressed and happy. First, Brandon in sales took all the load off my worries about measurements. (A big box store had me make an appointment to measure my microwave -- waited 3 weeks a no one showed up). Brandon made everything so easy and without having to have someone come out and measure. He was a true professional. Pricing was competitive and very fair for my products. Purchased 3 appliances which all quit working within a month of each other -- Stove/oven with Air Fryer, Dishwasher and built-in Microwave all stainless. Next -- the installation. Wow! There are not words to describe the job that Steve and Dustin did at my home. I can honestly compare them bc in the past month alone I have replaced my roof, full bathroom remodel, all flooring on two levels, furniture, and more. This team, Steve and Dustin, were beyond anything I can compare in professionalism, going over the top to make certain every detail of my installation was right, and even corrected issues that honestly were not their responsibility, in order to complete the proper installation. They were so kind. By the time they finished, I gave them both a hug and felt like they were part of my family! Seriously -- I wish I had purchased previous appliances from Northgate. I have had my home in Holland / Saugatuck 20 years and always heard how good they were. Had I known JUST how good -- I would have made previous purchases here and regret that. But I am telling everyone I know about the amazing service I received. I am beyond happy with every aspect of each point of contact with this company. Plus -- I feel good because I supported a Local Business opposed to a big box store for this part of home upgrades. Thank you, Steve, Dustin, Brandon and the rest of your team I haven't met for making my life easier. I really am grateful and can make an honest recommendation to everyone looking for new appliances in our area.

When we explained our situation to our salesperson (Kathy), she made a call and was able to get our refrigerator delivered the *next* business day. I was very impressed. My wife and I just purchased a freezer from Northgate Appliance. When we walked in, we approached the staff at the desk (as it was noted in the store) and they were very helpful in helping us pick out a freezer. Within a week, the delivery crew was able to get it in our basement with extreme care and even reinstalled our railing after they had to take it out to bring the freezer downstairs. We plan on coming back to Northgate in the future for our other appliances and highly recommend them to anyone in the West Michigan area looking for excellent service and great deals on appliances.

I purchased a new front load washer and the two men who came did a great job setting it up, removing our old washer and even adjusting our old dryer so that the door would open correctly for our new washer. They went above and beyond to make sure we were all set. The customer service at the store was also very helpful (thanks Kevin!) and I walked out feeling confident in what I was buying.

*Don't buy from a big-box store!* I didn't know this before I bought my appliances, but big box stores don't do any of their own installs and follow up service is terrible. We just bought a dishwasher from Best Buy and within 2 days we're having problems. Spent an hour and a half on the phone to try and get help, the soonest they can even send someone to LOOK is 2 weeks out. Called Northgate and Brandon gave me a helpful tip over the phone within a minute of calling. Will never buy from a big box again.

Our customer service with Mark in the showroom was great, and he made sure to help point us in the right direction with what appliances would fit our needs. We needed to get our washing machine fixed and the gentleman came out at 4:30. He spent 2 hours checking out our washing machine trying to get it to work, to no avail. However, he was really apologetic that he had to leave without it being fixed. He answered all of our questions and was very honest and very open about the costs and our different options. Northgate appliance really helped us understand a few things to look for in our new dishwasher and explained that they have little inventory because they simply cannot get the orders to come to them even though they are trying. I think we are going to wait until stock comes back.

I have had a couple of experiences at this business and they have all been very pleasant. I am most happy with my most recent experience. My husband walked in to purchase a used dryer after ours has been out of service for several weeks. After talking with the associate, he asked what dryer we had. He recommended servicing ours, even though it is an older dryer, and explained that is should be a relatively easy fix. Not only did this save us money, but put a dryer back in service that will still give us many years of use. It was very apparent they are serving their customers needs, and not just selling appliances!

Their price for washer and dryer was just under $300 more than the Big Box store which is a little disappointing. However the fact that you got somebody to help you was sure nice and they have them in stock. I am having a little bit of buyer's remorse I'm thinking maybe I should just hold out for the $300 at The Big Box store.

I used to work at Lowes and got a lot of good deals there. But I looked I to Northgate whichis quite a drive from where I live. Chose a Whirlpool dishwasher that I was looking at for a better price then lowes had. Been happy with it. People are extremely helpful. Will be back there to buy an induction stove.

We bought our entire kitchen package from Northgate for our new house because our builder preferred we go through them. The sales process was fine and Kevin was very helpful when we went to the store. Northgate also had all of our appliances delivered and installed which was nice. We paid for an air fryer tray for our oven, and when we moved in, there was no air fryer tray. I brought this up and Northgate told me it was on the delivery truck. I looked in our house several times and no air fryer tray was there. Eventually they gave us a new one but I felt like I had to be persistent that the tray was never delivered. We have also been having problems with our fridge. The top ice maker has never made any ice. Northgate has been out 3 times to fix the issue but it never makes any ice. Cameron, the service tech, has been extremely helpful and an advocate for us. However, whenever I call the store to report the issue again, the salespeople act like I don't know my head from a hole in the ground. I constantly get questioned if the fridge is on, etc. This is a brand new fridge that has never made ice in the top tray and I feel like I have to be persistent or the issue will never get fixed (and Northgate would be fine with that). I am thankful for the service tech, but the salespeople don't seem to care about the customer service once the sale is done.
