Our dryer broke down on a Friday night. We looked around online at local places and everybody was priced about the same. The issue was no one had stock in store. Even places with a showroom, we were told we wouldn't be able to buy and load the appliance same day. This was an issue because we do a lot of laundry at our house. We had purchased from Elders Appliance in the past so Saturday morning we stopped in to look and see what they had in store. We were helped right away. Asked what we were looking for and told the best deal within 5 minutes! We made sure to ask if we could take it home same day. (Absolutely) We found exactly what we were looking for: gas front load large capacity dryer manufactured in the USA. The cost was about 65% less than the other places we looked at. And it was brand new - not even from the scratch and dent section either! Our salesman was old school, and I appreciate a straight shooter. He was friendly and knowledgeable. His name is Rick. The amount we were planning on spending elsewhere also got us a chest freezer here. We walked out with twice as much for the same price. Our dryer was home and hooked up and drying our clothes the same day. The whole experience at the store was about half an hour. Rick was truly great at pinpointing our needs. He even had the door reversed for us so it opened from right to left instead of left to right. Next time we need an appliance we'll be back.

My husband and I bought a washer and dryer and was told that it would be ready for pickup on Wednesday. The pick up date kept getting pushed back and pushed back due to the holidays, but we weren’t told this right away so we became concerned and frustrated by this. Jason the wonderful manager said he was very sorry for our inconvenience and would personally deliver our washer and dryer so we didn’t have to drive there to pick them up. I would 100% buy the washer and dryer again just based off of the customer service alone. I highly recommend this place for any appliance need!

This place is great. Prices are comparable to big box stores but they carry some higher end models. Customer service is top notch. Whether on the phone or in person everyone I spoke with was courteous and helpful. I bought a washing machine on site but was also given advice on a leaking dishwasher issue that no one else—including Jenn Air—was willing to help me with. Just an all around great experience at Elders. I will definitely be back.

Customer service is fantastic very knowledgeable staff. Great selection to choose from. Even a kids play corner for when you look around they even have a bathroom you can use. I would highly recommend going here before going to a big box stores. Overall way better experience than big box stores.

WOW!!! Thank you so much Elders! We purchased a refrigerator literally last night, hooked everything up, to then have it throw an error code. Called Elders this morning, and they had an extremely knowledgeable technician out within two hours!!! Jason fixed the issue promptly, and was a pleasure to work with, the entire staff at Elders was very helpful and polite, even when we changed things around a bit last minute. The prices, and friendly staff, have my business from now on! Thank you again Elders!!!

All of a sudden, my less than 2 year old refrigerator completely died. I was in a rush to find one in stock, as living out of coolers just was not an experience I wanted to re live for long. On a whim, we walked into Elders. I explained my situation, was shown to the section I needed, written up and scheduled for delivery in no time. Fridge delivered yesterday, and there was a small issue. They offered to come today, immediately, or whatever time was best for me. Jason came out and diagnosed and fixed the problem in about 10 minutes. Showed me what was wrong, smiled the entire time, and was gone. I am an Elders Customer for life thanks to Jason's service and friendly professionalism. Lifesavers!!

When my husband asked the delivery worker to don a mask to protect me (who is immunocompromised), the worker scoffed and reluctantly went back to his vehicle to get one. Neither delivery worker paid much care to making sure their masks stayed on during their time here. We have invited a number of other companies into our home for work rand have never gotten a reaction like this when asking them to mask. Every other worker has done it without complaint and uses a surgical mask as opposed to the gaiter the one gentleman used here today. The delivery workers also tracked dirt up and down our carpeted stairs and into our bathroom. The appliance seems fine, but our respect for this local company went down a little today.

I've bought all my appliances from Elders. They have good deals on they're regular inventory and GREAT deals on the scratch and dent. They try all the scratch and dent before it goes on there showroom floor so you know it works when you buy it. Can't wait for my new washer and dryer to be delivered.

If you are looking for new appliances for a fraction of the regular retail price, you need to check out Elders! They were very knowledgeable and quick to answer any questions I had. With a small percent down, they held the appliances that I loved for a couple of weeks. When delivery day came, they were right on time and were very friendly. I purchased two scratch and dent appliances and still have yet to find the scratch or dents! I never knew I could love a range and fridge so much! I will definitely be going back to purchase a washer and dryer for my new house. Thank you Elders, I will be recommending you to all of my friends.

Picked up a fridge and dishwasher from the scratch and dent area saved about 600 on the pair. Sales was very low pressure and helpful. There is an additional delivery fee of 40.00. Delivery guys were great and on time. Good experience with Elders, I will be a return customer.

I have been working with them for the past couple weeks, the first time I went in I lucked out and worked with Erik. He listened to why I was there and answered any questions I had. I can say that another time I went back the customer service with different sales people were not as good. But Eriks customer service for us was so over the top excellent, that's why I'm giving it 5 stars. We would definitely recommend anyone to to see Erik there!

Nice place for retail-priced appliances, but make sure you price shop! Every item I looked at in the scratch and dent area was priced below MSRP, but above what many stores charge for the same item on sale, undamaged. I didn't look at every item, but the damaged stove and washers in my price range were not a good deal. I ended up getting an obsolete, lightly dented, returned item from Lowe's, original price $899, for $259. THAT is how you sell a scratch and dent, Elders.

About a month ago I bought a washer and dryer set - didn't haggle - just asked for the best they had and paid for it. They were delivered 2 or 3 days later. While putting the first load of laundry in the dryer, I noticed that one of the selector buttons on the dryer was very hard to press - sticky I'd call it. This was an hour after I'd taken delivery. I called Elders to tell them and they said "here's GE's phone# - call them". That felt like the wrong thing to tell your customer. Since I hadn't had cash for a tip for the delivery guys, I mailed it along with a letter expressing my dissatisfaction that they told me basically "not our problem call GE" an hour after dropping off $1500 worth of arguably defective w&d. That was close to a month ago and I haven't had the courtesy of a reply. You know, I had $2500 worth of Best Buy gift cards sitting on my counter when I bought this set - I like to "buy local", but after this and my prior dealings with Decker & Sons, I think I just might be done trying to buy big ticket items locally.

Extremely pleasant place to shop. I went here with my wife and daughter. PLUS: There is a play area for kids to stay busy while in a mostly-contained space so parents are able to shop without distraction. And not right by the front door, for those who may be concerned with leaving your child of appropriate age, unattended. And half walls...for open sightlines. Very nice feature. It appeared clean and at least decently maintained, unlike many fast food play areas we've all NOT allowed our children to enter. The selection of display models is quite large (we went in browsing all six majors: stove/range, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave (ove-the-range style), and washer/dryer combos). This includes an area for discounted items. Your typical "scratch and dent" issues. Major brands that I recall: Whirlpool & GE ... there were others, but those seemed to be their majors. The price ranges were fair to high-middle range...again, this is on display models. I am sure they would be able to get you something in the upper echelon, should you desire. Lasly, the sales people were knowledgeable and RESPECTFUL. This is a huge pet peeve of mine. Yes, please greet me and ask if I , and thank you. However, if I say I am would like to simply browse...allow me to do so. I am an intelligent and capable individual. If I have questions I can, and will, find you to ask for further assistance. And please...don't hover! Their sales people passed with flying colors. We were greeted, allowed to peruse and discuss wirhout interruption, and willingly helped with details and suggestions when sought out. THANK YOU! We did not end up buying anything, but Elders will certainly be given a call to put in their bid once a full and informed decision has been reached. Well done Elders!!! We will be in touch soon!

The selection is pretty good with a variety of appliances and price points available. I am only giving it three stars because I found the staff to be helpful, but pushy. I could hardly get a moment alone with my wife to pick out an appliance.

Prices so low it's unbelievable. But check your warranties. They ran our 3-year extended warranty with the manufacturer warranty which meant we lost the final year of course was when we needed to use it.
