If you are in the market for a washer and dryer you will want to see Doug. He has a head full of knowledge regarding washers and dryers. He can tell you about every make and model. Looking for a new washer/dryer combo can be very confusing. So many different features available some of which I was unfamiliar with. Scott was ready to answer all our questions and was very knowledgeable about each. We even discussed different detergents which should be used. I had my choice narrowed down to 3 brands which helped. I did wish all models had better color choices but I was able to accept the model and color that could work in our home. NFM has been our go to store for many years now.

Super friendly staff. While I went only for their holiday event, I will definitely keep them in mind if we ever buy a house. They had a wide selection of flooring, cabinets, appliances (even some small ones too) and TVs. They had a few kitchen ware items and gaming systems (I think) too.

I recently needed to replace a washer and dryer set, and Frank was very knowledgeable of all the appliances available. I felt welcome when I walked in to Nebraska Furniture. The employee that helped us Mary was the bomb.com, she made me feel like a person and not someone that just walked into there store to look around. She made me feel very comfortable she was well knowledgeable of the appliances gave me her feed back on the items in question. She was over all great. I will be back again to Nebraska Furniture again to purchase a refrigerator and hope to get Mary again and if not her someone just as nice and helpful.

Went into this store in search of a dishwasher. After working with Frank, who was fabulous. He took the time to answer all of my questions, and I had alot. Frank allowed me time to compare all of my options with the large selection of appliances that they carry and the time to speak with my husband about what we were going to do. When I say I left with a dishwasher, microwave and stove speaks volume to the service I received. The prices are just a little bit more expensive but all of that pays off since they offer free delivery (extra for set up) made the price actually no different then the prices else where that charge delivery fee and Frank made it all worth it. I will be returning to get my refrigerator. P.S. at customer servuce desk was just as pleasing as my experience with Frank. Save yourself time, worry and selection of items and shop at this location, you won't regret it.

NFM has the best appliance selection in town IMHO. Salesmen are very knowledgeable. Appliance was in stock with delivery in just a few days. Looked all over town for a GE washer with reversible door which NFM happened to have in stock at great price point.

Again today we were given outstanding customer service by Doug in the refrigerator department. He found exactly what we needed for a replacement refrigerator for our garage and even taught us something we were not aware of, that certain refrigerators are made specifically for an environment like a garage, so that's what we got. Service at the store was very good, he spent time with us and explained the difference between the refrigerators we were looking at. I live between Des Moines and Omaha so the refrigerator purchased was delivered from Omaha by a third party contractor. They were on is the only thing they did well. Not friendy at all and not interested in talking about anything. They were supposed to hook up the water line on the new refrigerator and deliver a new hose to use for hook up. They said they couldn't hook up water line because the shut off valve was not behind refrigerator. Period, end of story. Brought new refrigerator in, removed old one and plugged in new one. While walking to the front door they said it would take 3-4 hours for refrigerator to cool down. They left, end of delivery. I hooked up the water line with my current one not the one I was charged eight dollars for that they were supposed to use and leave to hook up refrigerator. Two days later I went to Des and spoke to salesperson about the rude and incomplete delivery. He had the nine dollar charge removed from account. I love Homemakers and Nebraska Furniture Mart and have purchased through them with deliveries (my Mom has, she made this purchase) for seventeen years. Never a bad experience but this was the bottom of the barrel.

We have been wanting to get a freezer since before the pandemic. Unfortunately, once we went into lockdown in the spring of 2020, it seemed like everything was in short supply. A few weeks ago we went to another company whom we’ve done business with in the past. They didn’t have any freezer in stock but the associate there checked and found that we could have one delivered by early May. We were okay with waiting another month. We were just glad to be finally getting one. About a week after our purchase we were contacted and told that they were not going to be able to fulfill our order. Back to square one. Where we were a year ago. I checked today to make sure our purchase was refunded, as promised, and it was. I suggested to my wife that maybe we make the trip out to Nebraska Furniture Mart. It was going to be a bit of a drive to the other side of town but we both thought, “Why not?” We didn’t have high expectations that anything would be in stock, though. Upon getting there, we ran into Mary M., who immediately said that they had some in stock and some that they could easily get from Omaha. She pulled up what they had and found that there was the perfect size out on the floor. We walked 25 feet and there it was. SOLD! We had worked with NFM in the past and had an account. A few minutes later we were done and it’s going to be delivered in 5 days. That just made our day. Mary was quick, answered our questions, and was able to get us exactly what we wanted in a short amount of time. We will continue to be customers of NFM. We can’t wait for a new freezer to be delivered.

Got a great deal on my appliances! There were issues with one of items delivered. It was a big hassle, we lost over 50# of meat. One rep lead us to believe the extra warranty we purchased would cover the lost food. It does not. Another rep was nice enough to give us a small store credit to make up for it. The telephone customer service is really hit and miss. Retrain or replace because that's what kills repeat business. 3 stars because one of them was a manager.

I had hardwood floors installed in my house. Sales person Brian was great and he made the whole process very easy. After installation by a contractor I had few concerns. First one, the carpet that was pulled to make transition had few spikes coming out that I hurt my foot stepping on them. Hannah seems not care about that.I was informed to use hammer to get the spikes disappear. The second one is was that all my vents sizes were cut too big and all of my vents were moving around. After contacting and speaking with Hannah I sent pictures. I was not able to get any response via email or phone after leaving many messages for her. Ledt message for supervisor wirh no luck. I will be making formal complaint. This is my first and last time using this company. Manager calles me ans we came up with an agreement. So I changed it to 4

I made the purchase and set up delivery in about 10 min total. Customer service needed to make a name change on my charge card, again quick and complete service. Total time in store about 20 min. No gimics or sales pitches, no trying to talk me into something more expensive. Same great experience as I had about 4 yrs ago when I purchased a washer and dryer in the same manner. Price for both visits could not be beat anywhere else! Only downfall is the 6 week wait time for delivery, but the wait time is made up by the super sale and the 24 month interest free financing. Keep up the great work!!

Came in for a range hood. Saw one on clearance at a great price with little damage and missing just a mounting bracket, decided to purchase this one. I told the sales guy that we’d be shopping around for a bit. When I went to pay he said it takes about 15 minutes for them to get it to the pick up around back. So we continued to look around then went around back, waited for about 10 minutes, knocked on the door and was told to go to another dock. So I drive to the other dock to be told they haven’t even brought it to the back yet. After another 10 to 15 minutes they finally loaded it. Very happy with the price of the product and customer service was good for the most part. They should tell customers about the price wait prior to the time a customer wants to leave the store. It would have prevented a 20-30 minute wait time.

Not sure I could recommend NFM for expensive built-in appliances. They don’t service what they sell, and the installer they use could not level the doors on a 48” build-in refrigerator. The installer also pinched the tube to the water in door dispenser, and had to have an appliance service company come take a look. They wanted to order a new stainless steel freezer door for a pinched tube??? The service tech could not level the doors either. I finally got tired of looking at the uneven doors, and adjusted them myself, also moved the pinched tube, and finally have water in the door. On the bright side, the price was right, just hope I don’t need service anytime soon.

They also corrected a few mistakes which were on the manufacturer side, again very helpful. This is a 3 star review because the installers scratched our kitchen cabinets and they blew out a screw rather that pre-drilling the hole. It's also 3 stars because our fridge came with a dent in the door and nfm has not been forthcoming on what is going to happen (some of this may be from covid and not their fault). We continue to do business with them, but we'll think twice before buying major kitchen appliances.

Original set up was great, but had to call because I was not getting any word back from salesman(I know you were moving), not an excuse! When finally talking to person explaining our charges, was told the total amount which had doubled from the beginning charges!!!!! Because the brand I wanted had all of their dryers on back order and I really only needed a dryer I ended up just getting a washer. I expected more of a celebratory atmosphere and maybe some freebies for coming to the Grand Opening. (I bought my fridge and stove and microwave from Nebraska Furniture Mart two years ago.) No salesperson greeted us or asked us what we are contemplating for our next purchases. We want to replace a basement refrigerator and freezer. I bought a spatula and we spent less than a half hour in the store. So many $2,000-$3,000 refrigerators. Prices seemed high. I guess we felt disappointed. Bed Bath & Beyond carries all that Chinese cookware that you have displayed at the front of the store. You only have a smattering of small appliances. I suppose I could have bought a new toaster, but my current toaster works fine. A ho-hum experience. Oh my, your ad just came on TV. So exciting compared to our actual experience.

The process of picking out and purchasing my kitchen appliances was very good. I would give that 5 stars. It was the delivery that awful and deserves zero stars. My scheduled delivery time was 1-3. The driver was suppose to call when they were 30 minutes away so I could leave work. The only phone call I received was when they were in my driveway. I had to leave work and that was a 20 minute drive. The lady who called was very rude and said they would only wait 15 minutes. I rushed home and was there at 1:20. The drivers didn't wait. NBF tried to get ahold of the driver via cell phone but they wouldn't answer. They told me I would not get my appliances and they would have to reschedule. I bought and paid cash for them on January 12 they were suppose to be delivered on February 28th and I didn't get them until march 16th. They did not tell me they left the box and all the packing material in my yard and it blew all over the neighbors property. They were also suppose to take my stove and dishwasher and they only took the stove. I feel if I am going to spend thousands of dollars on appliances, they would hire a better delivery company to represent them.

I have made many trips to NFM, both to research and purchase products (I am a person who likes to see & touch new products prior to purchasing). I would say on these visits, it got to the point of bordering harassing by the salespeople. No more than 1 would leave and another would show up and then I would explain i was merely just looking, did not require help, and would find someone if needed anything. (This was in an open area so they could see other salespeople approach and walk away as well, was not as though they were unaware if I'd been asked.) I had one that followed me around, I finally had to leave because i told him twice I was only looking and he kept following me. On one visit, I had 9 different, and (3 of them double/triple checked) all within a 30 minute visit. (No exaggeration). Today, however, I was very pleased. My husband and I went to the new location. We were asked a few times by sales associates if we needed help but never felt like we were being stalked or harassed. They let us have room to look at appliances and talk amongst ourselves about things. This made an enormous difference to us and in our overall experience. Our sales associate Adam, was very knowledgeable and looked into things if he was not certain on the answer. He was friendly and polite. When I told him i wanted to think and talk with my husband about our options, he left us to talk and did not hover. Overall this was the best visit we've had at NFM to date.

I needed a new washer and dryer badly that would accommodate my large 7 person family. We just moved and our stacked washer and dryer are not working properly. As soon as I started looking, I was greeted by one of the associates and I asked him if he could check to see what color the LED lights are. I have trouble seeing certain colors. Mainly, blue. And often have to ask my older kids what the monitors on my stove\oven and refrigerator are saying or what setting they are on, as I can't tell. The associate turned them on to check and explained to me the features they have and thankfully the LEDs are white and I can see them clearly. They were having a Maytag sale and I took advantage. XL! My life as a mother is saved, lemme tell you. One less thing to worry about, per this move, which has been insanity. Maybe the simplicity of it is silly to some, but for me, it was a breath of fresh air!

Wow! Great customer service every time we went to the KC location! In almost very section we went into we were acknowledged - nice from a consumer point of view. The employees were VERY knowledgeable and we were very impressed with what they had to say. We drove in from Metro STL to the KC store. We bought a microwave and a sofa and love seat. Had no problem with the pick up service, but thought it was a bit funny that the two guys who brought out of microwave looked like they were professional body builders, but the two guys who brought out our heavy sofa and love seat looked no bigger than me. Guess it's the luck of the draw! :) They never complained though and did a great job. Shopping for a new dryer was fine. The product is defective, cycle signal is constantly coming on. I was charged for new venting, but the old was used. Been waiting all day for a delivery time to exchange the Machine for one that hopefully will operate correctly.

So got a decent deal on our appliance - that's good. Purchased it online for store pickup - convenient. Fella on the phone says "there's a small charge for a disposal fee" if I bring my old appliance in - reasonable. I show up without an order number - my fault - but they can't find my order... turns out they have an inventory sales system originally designed by Fred Flinstone [gotta check a box to NOT search for an "exact match" which means you better know exactly what name you gave] and because it wasn't a delivery they didn't require my phone number on the order so no luck there... alright my mistake so I hunt down my order number... with my window down at the check in speaker... its 20 deg out... this process took no less than 10min. Solution: have a system that searches for any part of the name AND requires a phone number if that is one of your top methods of searching. But wait there is more. I need to pay to dispose my old appliance [$16 or so... like I said reasonable]. Need to go into the store for this, but where? I'll try customer service... nope won't help me I must find a SALESPERSON to charge me [very nice people who just couldn't help me]. Okay. Where are they? (While waiving towards the south 3/4 of the building) "they're over there". Okay. I walk for a few minutes. To their credit all the sales people are with other customers, but all I need to do is pay $16 for a disposal... so I wait. I think I wait at least another 5 maybe 10 minutes before I'm connected with a sales person to get my $16. Solution: Customer Service can charge for disposal fees. Dear Uncle Warren, Amazon will continue to have your lunch as well will the other retailers that figure out how to blend the convenience of interwebs with bricks-and-mortar... today was not that day for you. The deal was good though so I guess you have that going for you. Gunga Galunga.

I had no idea what colors went together and she quickly picked out options for me that I loved by asking me the right questions. Svetlana Miller at the Clive, IA location worked with us and was very knowledgeable in the many styles we looked at. She gave us a price quote that day because we were a little overwhelmed. We went back on 9/7 to NFM. Svetlana remembered us and what we'd spoke about. We made our selections, got our discounts on the 4 Maytag Appliances and they will be delivered in a couple weeks. NFM and Svetlana were amazing to work with, would highly suggest them to all. During our check out we worked with Lexi and she took great care of us, too!!!

This is a two-part review. I will give it five stars for now, before delivery. And will update this review after delivery. NFM had the item that we wanted and agreed to deliver into our home, for a price. We live on the second floor of a condo complex with no elevator. So this is important to get it delivered into our place. Originally we purchased the item from a competitor whom couldn’t guarantee in-home delivery and couldn’t process it for three months. NFM said that we could get it in two weeks. Thank you! To follow up: NFM delivered our furniture in a timely manner and it was delivered into our home. Thank you NFM!

Mixed bag experience. Salespersons I worked with were excellent, but when I had a question about a price that had changed from my first visit to my second visit (a fridge I was interested in had gone up almost $100) the manager came out and was almost confrontational about it. I wasnt being pushy at all. I just wanted to know if it was possible to get it for the price that I had first seen, and instead of just saying ,sorry no, she went into how old prices aren't honored, prices can change every day , yada yada. Hard to explain , but it wasn't so much what she said, but the confrontational tone of how she said it, like she was expecting me to argue and was trying to nip it in the bud before I had a chance. It definitely soured my experience and I think she needs to have some customer service training. After she left, you could tell her employees were almost embarrassed and were being extra nice to me. In certainly didn't blame them and in fact bought 3 appliances, but I didn't buy that fridge I was interested in.

Had to get a water filter for my GE Refrigerator Called customer service and received the Omaha office. Inquired about the water filter and was advised that the Clive store had them in stock. However, there was a difference in price which was confusing. Why does Omaha have it at one price and Clive have it at another - higher price? Brought this to the attention of my sales person in Clive and they matched the Omaha price! Great!! BTW... I think $43.00 for a water filter is ridiculous!!!!!
