I recently bought a preowned vacuum cleaner, which overheated after vacuuming just 1 area rug when I first used it. I called a couple of other repair shops that told me it would be a 2 week wait to get my vacuum repaired, which is way too long for me! I called Discount vacuum repair, and they were happy to take a look at it. The owner and his son figured out in 10-15 minutes that it just needed a new motor filter, which was replaced for $20 while I was there. He explained that the other repair shops have such long delays to look at and repair the vacuums, because their goal is to sell you a new vacuum instead of fixing the one you bring in. As a business owner myself, I appreciate other family owned businesses that operate with integrity and the client's best interests at heart. For $20 and 15 minutes of my time, this neighborhood repair shop took care of my problem and my vacuum works great now. Thank you Discount Vacuum Repair!!

This is one of those things I never knew I needed until I needed it. I have a Shark vacuum that is several years old. I love it and it's a workhorse. I noticed over the past few months it wasn't working quite as well as in the past. I called Discount Vacuum and he said they need to be serviced every few years. I brought it in, they called me the next day saying it just needed a tune up. It was ready to go a few days later and I think it is actually working better now than when it was new. The price was very reasonable and they were friendly and easy to work with. Highly recommend this place for having your vacuum cleaner serviced!

My 20+ year old Oreck had been serviced only once in its life. I've driven by Discount Vacuum thousands of times over the past 30 or so years and was aware of their presence but had never used their service. I decided to try them when my vacuum gave up the ghost after I had used it to remove leaves etc from my outdoor carpet. Bad move. It started making streaks all over the indoor carpet and I knew I needed professional help. The great team at Discount removed all the gunk and replaced all the completely worn out parts that had been barely doing the job for more years than I realized. Their service was fast and reasonably priced, and they even polished the exterior so it looks like new. Works like new now too!!! I highly recommend them and will definitely not wait another 20 years before having my vacuum serviced there again. Thanks, guys!

Brought my vacuum in about a month ago with a broken hose. Mike took one look at it and took it to the back for a repair. He brought the vacuum out 5 minutes later all fixed up! He didn't charge me anything and was so kind. I really appreciated the quality service and kindness from Mike, and I will definitely be taking my vacuum to him from now on!

My husband brought our $600 Dyson to be repaired and cleaned. I had not done so since I purchased the vacuum and I was very please to get a well functioning and clean machine. Great place, they know vacuums. We've got a great Kenmore vac and the beater bar wasn't working, light was out. For under $25 bucks, all fixed in 10 minutes. They also have accessories. As the store says,"A rebuilt great vacuum is better than a NEW one."

I needed a new belt for my old reliable vacuum and he quickly put that on, showed me where my brush was melted and replaced that and tightened up a few other bits and bobs. I was in and out in five minutes and for $26 my vacuum that must be well over 20 years old is just like new!

This is the only place I've taken vacuums, both personally and for business. I own a residential cleaning business and my employees are pretty hard on the vacuums. Every single time, they are courteous, respectful, honest and reasonably priced. I've been coming here for 11 years and have never had poor service.

I have been taking my vacuum's here for over 30 years. I have never had a problem with Mike and Trevor. I have been to other vacuum stores and they have bad tech's. Discount vacuum fix your vacuum right! and the price is cheaper!!
