I was very impressed with The Theater People! After receiving an affordable, quick quote over the phone from super-friendly Lauren, I didn't even waste time exploring my options. I was a bit anxious about something not going right during the install above my fireplace, but the installer, Ben, was tremendous and knocked it out like it was nothing! I couldn't have had a better experience and will surely recommend them to anyone looking for their services! Thanks again!

This company is amazing!!! It was a great experience from the time I requested the initial estimate with John through the completion of the job. My job involved mounting my TV above the fireplace and included installing an outlet, the mount, and ensuring the TV was correctly positioned. Brian and Ashton completed my job and they were awesome!! First, with respect to my home, they either removed their shoes or put shoe covers on. Secondly, they came with all of their tools, prepared the space, mounted the TV, AND cleaned up the area. All within two hours which was less time than expected. I was really impressed and so appreciative of John, Brian, and Ashton’s professionalism. I definitely recommend this company and will be referring them to my family, friends, and clients. Kudos to John, Brian, and Ashton. Job well done!!!

They cleaned up the work area well and taught me how to use the system. John was very responsive and was willing to work within my budget to create the home audio system I was looking for. The entire experience with the Theater People was fantastic. Lauren was able to give me an excellent breakdown of the services and even had me send a few pictures of the entertainment center via email so we could discuss all the options available to me. Tim then arrived in less than 30 minutes. The project was difficult because I wanted a 65” TV mounted in a space that wasn’t ideal. Tim did an impressive job in getting the task done and since I had a gathering that night the feedback on the setup was incredibly positive. Definitely giving them another call for future projects!

Load in was quick and clean, and Ben was careful while working in our home. He was very proficient and did the work effectively and efficiently. Attention to detail - the work is level, straight, and neat; A+ for cable concealment, routing, etc. Ben went above and beyond to make sure everything was connected correctly and neatly, and cleaned up some of our additional cabling as well (which he didn’t have to do). We are 100% satisfied with the work, and we had great conversation while he was working too. 5/5 would - and WILL - recommend/use The Theater People in the future.

I don’t even know where to start. I contacted this company about 6 weeks ago through their website and I knew right away that customer service would be top notch because Lauren called me within a few minutes of my inquiry. To be honest, my only reservation in going with them was the price. It was going to cost me significantly more than the price of the TV to do an above-fireplace mount because of the need to move an outlet and patch the wall. However, after contacting several contractors to try and save some money by hiring different people for the various jobs, I realized that The Theater People’s quote was actually quite reasonable. The bottom line: this is the ONLY company that can do the entire project for you if you want something mounted above a fireplace. Best Buy can’t move an electrical outlet and the electricians in the area won’t patch the wall after they move an outlet. It was going to be a nightmare having an electrician do one job, a painter do another, and then have Best Buy come and take care of the mounting. In addition to the fair price and outstanding customer service, our Technician, Jeff, was fantastic. He arrived on time, was very intricate, and communicated with me every step of the way. His work is flawless. This company has earned a customer for life. Take my advice. Don’t bother checking with any other home theater specialist in this area. Call The Theater People!

Just moved to the area and needed to get a 70 inch TV hung. Called several places and Theater People came up with the best price by far. Lauren in the office called me and scheduled my install. She was very professional and a pleasure to work with. Ben, the installer, was right on time and took only a little over an hour to install the TV, move the electrical outlet, place two HDMI cables and hook everything up for us to test. Awesome experience. Definitely will use again when I expand our entertainment system.

My 16 year old AV receiver had no HDMI ports, so I needed an upgrade -- both for a new receiver and to fish new cables through the wall to connect with the TV. Lauren, in customer service, supplied me with a number of receiver options via email. They recommend Yamaha AV receivers and I was happy to select a mid-range RX-A780. Tim arrived on time for the installation with the new receiver in hand. In short order he had yanked the old component cables, installed the new HDMI cables, set up the receiver, calibrated it, made sure that all the attached devices worked as expected, cleaned up the area, and was on his way in about an hour. He even made a few changes to the remote that made the whole system work better. So, 5 stars for the whole team, I would happily ask them back.

The installer did a great job! Mounted a 55 inch OLED tv and helped with cable install and hookup of receiver and devices. Everything went smoothly and he was friendly and professional. Will definitely use them again in future.

The gentlemen I had was great and friendly. He did a great job mounting the TV and moving the outlets. However, he was unable to run the cable through the wall. No one has contacted me about a follow up to hide the wire. I paid a lot of money to still have a cable exposed and no follow up.

We are a small Independent Living Living called The Center for Disability Empowerment in Columbus and Delaware. We are a small agency so our budget is tight. The Theater People gave us several estimate options and when we chose one we were not pushed into any other sales. Our installer was courteous and did a great job. We will use them again.
