After my lamp started smoking, I took it to Vacuums Etc. on Garners Ferry -- they had it repaired and ready to pick up within 1 day! Great service, reasonable price, and nice people.

Since we moved to Columbia, we have brought both of our vacuums here to be serviced. They are fantastic in this store for that and I have no complaints. Even better, today I had an emergency with a serger. They also repair sewing machines. Christopher gave me the costs of the worst case scenarios because listening to the machine, he was worried that he might need to order a new motor. I needed the machine ASAP to finish sewing some costumes for a show. He got on it immediately AND found that the machine just needed some TLC. Best case scenario! And in one day. The service is always great. We appreciate this store.

My husband and I had a great experience in this store. Everyone was very curtious and so willing to help us. We brought 2 very old vacuums in to get repaired but decided to buy a new Sebo after talking with the owner. They were more than willing to fix our two vintage models but after much discussion we realized repairing was not our best option. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and taking the time to listen to our needs. Love my new Sebo canister vacuum. Works great on our hardwood floors and our carpet.!

Could not have asked for a better experience! We own a mobile dog grooming business... And our dryer, which is a crucial part of our workday... Stopped working due to an issue with the cord. I called to see if they could repair it, and not only did they fix it the same day... They fixed it while we waited, which allowed us to get back to work! It was affordable, efficient, and everyone was incredibly helpful and pleasant. We would recommend them to anyone.☺

I own a shark vacuum. I called Vacuum etc and spoke with Scottie. He assured me that he would be able to fix my vacuum and they carried many parts for repair . He also stated that he might be able to repair as I waited. He was very professional, knowledgeable, respectful and genuinely cared about my need of getting my vacuum fixed immediately. I was in need of repair and tune up of my Hoover Linx, and found this store through Hoover's maintenance website. The owner was able to tune up my vacuum within a few hours and got it working back to perfect condition. He went above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied and so obviously cares about his customers. I would recommend ANYONE to go to this store - the price was very reasonable and the work was perfect. Certainly found a lifelong customer in me!

I had an fantastic experience with the people at Vacuums Etc. I have a Dyson that just suddenly stopped working. After calling Dyson, they referred me to Vacuums Etc. to have my vacuum repaired. I brought in around 11am and they had the issue diagnosed within minutes of me being there. I had errands to run, so I left it with them. They had it repaired and called me to pick it back up within about 2 hours. The guys were very friendly and I will definitely bring my vacuum back the next time I experience any issues. I recommend them to anyone wanting personal, quality service when getting their vacuum repaired.

I’ve known Christopher for years and I’m not surprised he’s found yet another thing to excel at. The store is clean and all staff are very friendly. I spent the bulk of my time with Christopher asking about my home,family, and pets. He then made a recommendation and gave thorough instructions for using my new vacuum. In addition to providing exceptional customer service to me, he was also very kind to my little boy and made a point to include him in our conversation. Ive been a long time customer and always received exceptional Service. Scottie the manager there helped me with my purchase of a new Sebo a while back which I absolutely love. I brought my old broken machine in and he had it repaired and ready within 24 hours. I recommend you check out a sebo at Vacuums etc if you are needing a new machine.

Asked a question on Facebook to which they responded quickly and offered me a discount! Took the vacuum in to be serviced and was helped by a personable young man who told me they would call to let me know what what was wrong and get my approval before repairing. I received a call the very next day and by that afternoon my vacuum was fixed and waiting for me to pick up! I was very pleased and my Dyson vacuum is working great again! Thanks guys!

I took my vacuum in last week, because I had taken it apart and couldn't get it back together. As soon as I started to take the vacuum out of my car, Christopher Nash and his associate greeted me and carried my vacuum in for me, had it fixed in no time. Really the only vacuum store around and there's definitely a reason why. These guys are great. They are extremely knowledgeable and know exactly what they are talking about when it comes to vacuums and small appliances. (They even repair lamps!) Their prices are the best and the staff here is helpful and friendly. I bought a vacuum from this store and have seen the very same vacuum other places and online for 200-300 dollars more than what I paid for it at Vacuums Etc. They are great and only sell products that they stand behind. Just a great store really.

I have been here sparingly over the last 4 years and had a great experience each time. They were able to fix my Kirby vacuum cleaner after I attempted to fix it myself with parts in a Ziploc bag they fixed it like new and it runs perfectly. If I need vaccum cleaner accessories and even a new vaccum I will definitely come here first!!! Love this place and the people who own and work here.

A favorite lamp of mine got damaged in a move and it wouldn't turn on. The part that the bulb goes in and the switch were broken. It was fixed in less than 24 hours! I was so happy. Great customer service!

A first impression is a lasting. I was greeted as though I was the only individual in the shop. Also, Christopher took the time to take apart my lamp to tell me specifically what the problem was so that he could adequately give me a quote. Finally, I even received a common courtesy call to let me know that my lamp was ready for pick up. Great service!

Update: 6/30/2017 at 11:55am The owner personally contacted me and rectify the situation. He made sure that I was fully satisfied with the outcome and I am. In every business there will be employees that needs a little more training than others but the ownership is excellent. I will continue to support this business................................. I dropped my vacuum off two plus weeks ago. When I dropped it off they said they were going to call the next day, which was Friday, or Monday. I waited until Wednesday and never got a call from them. So I called. When I called, they had a hard time looking for my information. When they finally did find it, they said they still have to order the part. Fast forward a couple days, I called and they said they're waiting for the parts. Fast forward a couple weeks, still no update. They haven't called once to update me. Fast forward today 6/30/2017, I am now standing in front of their shop typing this at 9:43am and the store is still closed. They were supposed to open at 9am according to their time outside the store. And no sign saying they'll be back. Last week I bought a new vacuum because I had a feeling these guys couldn't be relied upon. More than two weeks later and waiting outside their store, they have proven me correct.

I just took my dyson in for a repair. Jason found the part in the store room and Kaleb figured out how to replace it on my vacuum while I was waiting. Brought in my trusty Filter Queen for an on-off switch repair..this unit is like 50 years old and works like a Swiss watch!..If you can handle the price the Filter Queen will let you pretty much forget about vacuum cleaner repairs..ask the owners..anyhow that switch was supposedly repaired a year ago by an outfit "across the bridge" but failed around a month later..it would still start just by plugging into a wall oulet but eventually that method failed..OK I take it into Christopher at Vacuums Etc and from the hello greeting he tells me he can probably replace the switch (stock replacement) and have it running while I wait..and just like he said in maybe 10 mins the unit is working fine..Christopher was very polite and the price was for the repair was more than reasonable..nice to find a shop one can depend on..back soon for discount filters and a hose repair..Wes
