We have bought appliances from Gulgrens on three separate occasions, they have never disappointed us. Gary was our salesman on our last purchase in November, he was helpful and knowledgeable. Between the time of the sale and installation he was always available to answer my questions. The team that installed the appliances were professional and quick. Finally Mike, who installed my stovetop is kind, personable and is great to work with. It has always been a great experience working with Gulgren Appliances

Our refrigerator was shorting the day before Christmas and in the midst of severe weather. After calling several places with no answer or no one working, Greg was able to send out Josue to help us even though he had already ended his day. Josue problem solved to figure to it what the issue was, had the part to replace it and fixed it all in a timely manner. I was so grateful for Gulgren’s for going above and beyond to make sure we could host Christmas this year.

Outstanding place! I can clearly see why my parents always come here too. They have a great selection and treat you with the best knowledge and customer service. From the parts counter and the great service from Amber and Steve and the helpful service from the other two ladies to the great salesman Brice it is one my favorite places to shop. The driver Fern and Rickie are a treat to work with as well. I highly recommend this place.

We were originally residents of Crystal Lake for many years but left the area 22 years ago. Upon residing in Crystal Lake we had used Gulgrens several times for appliance repair. We returned to the area for a visit with our Motorhome and experienced trouble with our dryer ... the consensus was to contact Gulgrens to help us out with that problem. Greg knew nothing about our small dryer but after talking a bit he decided to look at it and was able to fix the problem within a 24hour period of time ... Everyone that worked on RV repairs only wanted to sell us a new dryer.... Gulgrens is your go to repair place in the McHenry County Area... Thank you Greg ... you’re the best!!

Today Jose serviced our dryer that was purchased at Best Buy 13 years ago. He was knowledgeable, careful with taking our dryer apart and time efficient. He showed me the parts that needed replacing and explained everything in detail. He even vacuumed the inside of the dryer; there was 10 years of lint in there!!! I really appreciated the the honest work he did. Thank you Jose!!

Fast, friendly and did the job right. Jose was able to get out the same day and replace the control board on my fridge. I didn't spend a lot of time pricing everything, but for someone to come out the same day and fix the problem is worth it. Saved me taking another day off work.

Excellent service today on our GE freezer (ice maker)! The technician was courteous, knowledgeable and friendly. Was given a two hour window & being in the service industry myself, I know that can be challenging. Would highly recommend Gulgren!

Recently purchased a refrigerator and needed a light fixed. Jose serviced the refrigerator. I also have a 38 year old stove. It needed a burner fixed. Jose was so helpful, knowledgeable, polite, efficient. Had part for stove and repaired it for me. I highly recommend Gulgrens for purchases and repairs.

I called with a question about a problem with my girlfriend's washing machine. Harry from the service department called me back within an hour, and he could not have been nicer. He listened to my description of the problem and suggested a fix. He then went out of his way to help me find the part he thought I needed, even though this appliance has not been purchased at Gulgren. I installed the replacement part and it worked! Kudos to Harry and the service department, and thank you!

I had called an "Other" local place that wasn't even willing to answer any questions about the problems I was experiencing with. Just wanted $85 upfront to send a tech out. THEN I called Gulgrens...what a breath of fresh air! I was able to speak with a tech who patiently answered my questions, He was able to give me an idea of what he thought was wrong and how much it might cost. He gave me the option to bring the microwave in or have it looked at on site. I brought it in, it was done in a day. Definitely would recommend and use again

Needed a part for my dryer. Was In stock. Over priced compared to the internet but I suppose that how you get it same day. Their service call charge is to high. 4 stars for stocking my part. But minus one star for being to high on price.

I came to the store with a very expensive part that I thought was broken.The parts man said before I sell you this go home and check the thermal fuse in the back of the dryer.$15.00 dollars later we were in business.Thank you Gulgren without your help it could have been a very expensive day.
